961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins scammers? on: September 29, 2017, 08:21:14 PM
Localbitcoins is a safe place to trade even with their newest members. If you get scammed on localbitcoins than you need to re-think about it that how foolish you are? Localbitcoins provide escrow to both the parties which means neither can be scammed. I don't know if anyone is foolish enough to release the bitcoins before getting payment.

Have you ever used the site and understood how the site is working? I am giving some example. If the guys sell Bitcoin for a SEPA/SWIFT transfer and after the transaction is noted as completed, then the guy contact his bank to cancel the transfer. What localbitcoin is going to do, Nothing, it doesn't have any authority on banks, you know?? If the guy sells for Paypal and the buyer open a disupute (or others methods I am not going to tell here ) what localbitcoin will do? Nothing

So stop posting your useless advice, I am sure you don't have an account on localbitcoin, nor you understand something
Sorry about that but I only use IMPS, And as I know seller/buyer verify identity when there is any risk involved in the transaction. and people who want to buy or sell can easily see the user's record and use their due diligence whether to trade with him or not.

962  Economy / Services / Re: Hire someone who create Bounty thread campaign! on: September 29, 2017, 11:49:49 AM
What kind of stupidity is this, he is talking about a bounty thread campaign, someone who can create it, not someone who manages the whole campaign.
All you guys giving names of people that are allready busy with many campaigns and signature campaigns have nothing else and better to do, there are enough people on this forum who can create a good bounty thread, I have made many bounty threads for some good ICO's so all you retards quit giving names of other people!
Why are you getting angry, it's my choice whom I refer. I know it is for the design of bounty thread campaign not for a campaign manager. I don't think he will be able to post the thread with his newbie account he surely needs someone to do it for him. Use your small brain buddy.  Angry

So, why not ask trusted members to give negative feedback?  or you can gain access to the account again by providing proof of ownership in the meta section. Go read some posts there and decide what you want to do.

Although It is not an old account with high activity and rank I doubt that anyone will be able to scam with that account.

Localbitcoins is a safe place to trade even with their newest members(Don't use reversible payment methods like PayPal, SEPA etc ). Here is the simple guide for you, you can easily install the nomp for your personal use. I don't think it will be difficult for you to install the script, basic knowledge required

Payments are prorated.
This means if you are in the campaign for 3 days you will only be paid for 3 days not for a week.
Please understand this before signing up.

Example: If you sign up October 4th at 12:30pm forum time and the week ends October 9th 12:30pm then you will be paid for 5 days
as long as you have a sufficient amount of post which in this example would be 15 posts

Thank you for keeping your words as discussed 2 weeks ago.
Although, I'm not able to join, but would like to join in future and look to get paid in SFX tokens instead of BTC.
968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounty results calculation on: September 28, 2017, 08:06:12 PM
How bounty manager controls signature campaign? How does he check length of posts? Does he do it manually or with special automation tools?
Yes, they manually check all the aspect of the campaign, checking post length isn't a tough work as one can easily guess that if the post is more than half-liner it can easily cross 75 Character limit and if more than to a line that it is above 100 Character and if it is almost near to finish the second line it's 250+ characters long. Although the tool is not needed in this work for precision, still campaign managers are free to use anything.

If you want us to recover a hacked/lost account, you need to prove that you own it. Typically, the only acceptable method of proving ownership is by signing a message (including current date and desired new email address) using a Bitcoin address or PGP key associated with the account. A Bitcoin address or PGP key is associated with the account only if the account posted the key/address, sent it in a PM, or if it is still listed in the account's profile.

No need to ask a mod, you can continue with the steps now.
Send a PM to cyrus or theymos after reading this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Post a link to your hacked account profile and let me see it and tell you what you can do about it.
Although, recovering your account looks very difficult to me from the way you are talking.
Please be fast as I'm going to sleep within few minutes.

Thank you!

Sorry, after looking your post history I am sure you won't able to recover that account.
Do you remember sending bitcoin address to anyone through PM?
If not, then it is time to make a new account as you won't able to recover that.

Yes I have bought BTC with my BTC address, for example with PM to user monbux in 2014.

I can sign with that BTC address
I am not sure about it but I heard somewhere that it is also a possible way to get your account back.
Sign a message from the address sent through PM to monbox, Ask a moderator to confirm the possibility through a PM.
After that, you can proceed futher with the steps here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Nothing receive.. Still Unlucky day! Sad
Don't know much about that wallet but you can still ask them for the refund if they have active chat or email support as the address is in their possession, and they won't mind refunding you. Happened to me also when I was a newbie in the field of bitcoin but the site was bitcasino.io, they don't even take a minute to initiate a refund.

IMO, that addy is way too recent (September 05, 2017) to verify your ownership of this account.
did you ever check the other proof its april 2017.

Did you ever check to see what proof theymos accepts?
Have a look at the recent incident, Cyrus helped this user to get him his account back. The ethereum address was signed by him and sent to cyrus to recover the account.

OP, do you know, what to do now?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!

I am back.
Thanks a lot cyrus. You are amazing
Really? Seriously? Have you got your account back or the hacker is posting from the real account to confuse the community? How do we know it's you and not the hacker. Please post from your alt account to confirm it and don't forget to stake your bitcoin address here.
976  Other / Meta / Re: I've bought hacked account on: September 28, 2017, 06:09:06 PM
Dear community.

Recently I've bought account and now I'm realized that it was hacked. I spent 300$ for it. Owner asks to give account back. Should I ask money from owner? Or I should take loses? What would you do?
You made a mistake and it is the time for you to pay for it, do you know how to verify account ownership? If not ask a trusted escrow provider to do that for you and proceed to transfer the account to the real owner. Do all these things using a new account and not a temp account and start using that account as your permanent account.

978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITSTAMP BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT - 300K HELD - no response BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM!!! on: September 28, 2017, 05:43:34 PM
Better, you to take a close look at the terms and conditions of the website and other facts before proceeding to any legal action. Hiring a lawyer before understanding the situation won't help you as if the site is claiming something then there will be a reason for that.
As the bitstamp is the oldest exchange and I never heard anything suspicious about them.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's killing crypto on: September 28, 2017, 05:18:24 PM
don't think the ICO scam are killing crypto but the people who fall for these scams will get a lesson. They will learn the basics of investment how, when and where to invest. Although, It is very bad as some people lose their money, If we look it from a different perspective it will help the bitcoin to grow more as the most users move towards bitcoin after this.
