961  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE LAST BITCOIN IS MINED? on: August 02, 2017, 08:43:04 PM
Okay, since miners get a reward (bitcoin) for mining and help support the block chain, what will happen when the last bitcoin is mined? What incentive is there to mine bitcoin and thus support the block chain? Won\’t bitcoin crash at that point?

they will still earn fees of transaction,
but yeah reward would be less,
it's like for a fork before it happend difficult to predict what will be the consequences.
we will see when the last one will be mined what miner will choose to do.
Most probably when it is mined im sure many miners might start considering to quit mining because by that time many miners from now have gooten a lot of profit already with the help of their equipments. Either way maybe the rewards for mining at that time will still be big considering that the price will go up by that time to prices we can never imagine today. Therefore bitcoin wont crash at that point.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's too late to recieve my BCC right..? on: August 02, 2017, 01:12:44 PM
too bad,
The fork is already happening, and it looks like you will not get the BCC right now. It seems you do not pay attention to information about fork and let your savings in altcoin.

Either way it is not that a bad move at all, because OP can still earn from altcoins the same way as others earned from bcc. Also let me correct you, the fork had already happened yesterday and what we see now is the result of what happened, those who held their bitcoin getting free money, and those who dumped and have not rebought got nothing. Too bad they believe in those FUDS that has been spread all around.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH surpass BTC? on: August 02, 2017, 11:22:11 AM
Is it possible that BCH can surpass BTC value? Now BCH $489 (75% more than yesterday)
For now I think it is more unlikely that bch will suprass btc value after all, bch is just a different coin with features same as bitcoin, literally near a bitcoin copycat IMO. It is too early to say now though that it won't surpass btc value even once there is a lot of things that can happen between now and December, in terms of dominance though, btc would still dominate probably.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about them WAVES!!?? on: August 02, 2017, 10:18:07 AM
Who's holding WAVES or thinking about getting WAVES??  What are you guys most excited to see about the WAVES!!?
I have been holding waves for long now, I bought it when price was around 30-40k satoshi. Looking at it now, I got quite a good sum of return of investment already after selling half of what I bought and for now im still holding the half that I decided to keep because I am excited about waves being used more in terms of token creation and the updates that will come are quite nice too.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Pump and Dump illegal/legal? on: August 02, 2017, 09:08:57 AM
You cannot prevent them from doing it and it is not illegal, we should be smart and not to fall for that kind of trap.
In the world of crypto there are a lot of ways to make a fortune but we need to be smart enough to get on the right timing so you can
make money at the right time and eventually grow it more as you are getting more aggressive.
No one can prevent them but pumping and dumping coins somewhat needs to be illegal in cryptoworld all over the world. There are laws about money laundering in US that states that it prohibits money laundering through other informal value systems, and cryptocurrency can be considered as an inform value system. Therefore, crypto pump and dump can be considered illegal on US at least and those doing it on US can be subjected by law.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are promising projects in development? on: August 01, 2017, 09:26:59 PM
Crypto saw many ICO these last months, but there must be many more coming later this year. Which ones you are excited about? Why?
I am excited about shadowtoken, since it has already a working product which is a game. Also, I am excited about OPUS even though there are some service similar to it, it is the only one you can really called decentralized music streaming platform that is like spotify and a better platform for song composers that wants to earn. Every project that is going out now is quite promising but it will really depend on how they execute and take action to the planned things to do in the roadmap.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest way to Dump BCC tomorrow at 12:20pm UTC? Timing is important on: August 01, 2017, 08:27:40 PM
How much time do you think it will take to get the BCC available and listed on exchange?
I think it is available for trade now on yobit. https://yobit.net/en/trade/BCC/BTC if im not mistaken this is BCC. Bittrex and the others will list it soon too so I guess I will just wait for that.
Hm u guys think that BTC will go down after fork?
Because so much peopels bought BTC just to get free BCC
I dont think that bitcoin will ever go down just because of many people buying btc just to get free BCC. It might go down a little but the effect it will have maybe wont be that big.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 mins crash or making high value on: August 01, 2017, 01:07:43 PM
it about 10 mins before the BTC and BCC slip up... what you gonna do... it BCC will up or down or BTC will down or increase it value...

in now tune in in Digital GOld https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1kMJ8evhsw

what it is good to innvest after these?
I dont see any crash happening right now but I guess we will see in an hour or two after now so I guess many will wait for it. For now bitcoin price is stable at 2734 USD according to preev and bitcoin cash at 299.85 USD. We might even see some crazy movements in bitcoin and as well as bitcoin cash because they expect either of the two to fall fast then rise back again so be on time to sell and buy.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: undervalued coinz ? on: August 01, 2017, 11:50:05 AM
i have put together a list of coins i feel are undervalued feed back appreciated Smiley
and feel free to add to the list

GameCredits
DECENT
Ubiq
Emercoin
SIBCoin
Expanse
Diamond
I agree with almost all the coins that have been listed, except decent and diamond. One of the mentioned coin really has a good concept but I wouldn't call it undervalued for now. Also if you would like to add some coin, I think waves is undervalued too. Considering it now has some pretty good updates, and a feature of token creation just like ETH, there is a lot of potential for it to grow more in the next coming months. There are also more updates to come for it.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the Bitcoincash will have lower transaction fees? on: August 01, 2017, 10:41:03 AM
I've read that bitcoincash is improving (for some) three features of bitcoin and the process of transaction is one.
Will the transaction fee decrease, or will be lower than bitcoins?
They would both have a lower transaction fees, since bitcoins would have a faster transactions, therefore it would require cheaper transaction fee and maybe we can go back to using 10k satoshi as fee again. Also bcc would have cheaper fees logically because transactions there would surely be fast requiring only the recommended surely but still I would like to use bitcoin either way. I hope bitcoin price would not drop that much by tomorrow or the next day.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or Waves on: July 31, 2017, 11:58:26 AM
Hey I am new for crypto what coin buy For long term Ltc or Waves
suggestion please.....
Personally my favorite among your choice is LTC, as it has proven for a long time that is a real crypto with a real value but this time I think I would answer invest in both, just invest a little bigger on waves because it has a lot more potential to grow. It has a built in exchange in it's wallet, a token creation service, a balance leasing feature, and many more that im sure many people in cryptoworld will like and because of the updates and the upcoming ones, I see a lot more potential to it in the future than LTC.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coin !? on: July 30, 2017, 04:54:20 AM
What do You thinking about DOGE COIN ? Is it worth it to invest ? ? ? Thank You !

Dogecoin itself I think is a good coin because it is one of my most favorite altcoin to use to send money to others. It is also good to use in gambling, since it is easier to multiply sometimes than bitcoin. It is also worth to invest in if the price is about 70 satoshi below but prices above 80 satoshi or 100 satoshi aren't as it is the maximum doge has proven that it can reach so far. It still good to mine it though.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Unbelievable WAVES trend!! Its lookin pretty promissing!! on: July 29, 2017, 11:00:10 PM
This rise after a long time is surely because of the extensive campaign they have been doing on this forum we have seen byteball also rise 10 times it's price soon waves can surely be the next coin to reach at least 40$ point mark. That's a lot to speculate but in past we have seen how much difference these campaigns on the actual price
That's pretty much a good movement of waves to see but still I wouldn't call it a rise, since the movements that have happened according to the chart linked by OP is not that big. The rise of it was not just because of the extensive campaign they are doing in this forum, but it is also because of the developments they are doing. For now at least, I expect something like a pump from waves in the next coming months.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum mist wallet sync on: July 29, 2017, 09:21:17 AM
yes, going to do the same. Ordering a Trezor now
Before you do that, do you know your the private key of the your wallet that is stuck in ethereum mist wallet? because if you have it backed up might be possible to access your wallet without downloading the sync data at all. Just obtain the unencrypted private key from mist then copy paste it on mew to access it there or back up your keystore folder from etehreum mist and try to access it on mew.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention: The next BTC crisis is comming? on: July 29, 2017, 07:59:46 AM
I will resume:

It's possible that the next crisis is comming.
Always, when there is some uncertainity, the whales attack (and, sometimes, hackers too). Also, anything could happen in addition to that.
But, this things, almost everybody could expect. It will be just the ingredient to start the crisis.

The big problem could be: TETHER

- Exist only 300 millon Tether Dollars, equivalent to just 110,000+/- BTC (7a.m. GMT 07/29).
- Some of the biggests exchanges use only Tethers as Dollar value (Poloniex, Bittrex, etc.).
- A lot of people will exchange BTCs for USDT as a safe option near the 08/01.
- As I'm writing this, BTC is beginning to show a possible downtrend (just chart analysis. I hope I'm wrong).

So, if bitcoin drops, a lot of people will want to sell their bitcoins for USDT, but the USDT supply could be not enough.
The result is a BTC falling rapidly to adjust the USDT demand, and a lot of people panicking.

Just in case, a sold the half part of my Bitcoins.

What would you do? Share any opinion, below.
In my opinion bitcoin price will not wither because of tether after all, this fork will bring upon free money to bitcoin holders who held tight of their bitcoin stash because they will receive BCC which is in turn can also be exchangeable. That being said, I wont worry for now because USDT is just dollars in form of cryptocurrency, and there will be no shortage since people can just convert bitcoin straight to fiat if that happens. There might be a dump but the fall will not be to adjust to the USDT demand.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer? BTC or ETH? on: July 29, 2017, 07:06:21 AM
People always said that ETH will be the next Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is having major updates, will ETH will launch into the moon, soon?
Even if people said that ETH will be the next bitcoin, it won't and I still prefer bitcoin more than it. Also, eth won't launch into the moon, after all those ICO's who have gathered some large amounts of ETH will soon begin to dump just to have a budget of their own. Also, the last eth pump IMO is manipulated and is very hyped. With this major update of bitcoin, it might make the eth hype go away.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC on: July 29, 2017, 06:09:05 AM
Which coin should I keep? I mean it will going to seperated but which is going to be profitable more ?
I will keep both coins so long as they are both going to be profitable, but I will use them both either way but I will use the one that is better more frequently, since I will be using the better one not just for investment purposes, I will use it to pay others as well for services. If I found bcc useless after august 1, for sure I will dump it without hesitation but if it still has it's uses, I will use it and the same goes to the other, but most probably bcc is the one that is going down because too many people will get it for free.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC/BCC on: July 28, 2017, 11:41:49 PM
Hi,

I have question, if I will have on Bittrex BTC, Bittrex change BTC automatically for BCC? Or my BTC stay here and I obtain else + BCC for free?
It is better for you to store your btc on a wallet you own and a wallet that you have full control with, having access to it's private key. This way you will receive bcc for free and it is guaranteed because you control it, not third parties. I am unsure what bittrex will do but most probably they won't give you the free bcc but you will still have your bitcoins. Only do my suggestion if you want guaranteed free bcc.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES?? on: July 28, 2017, 10:02:38 PM
Wow its pumping hard right now as we speak!!  Who here is holding these wave tokens?
I am holding though I don't agree with the part that waves is pumping hard. After seeing your post, I have immediately researched about waves' price and It just had an increase of 2.05% according to coinmarketcap even if it is the case, I believe that it would be the next ethereum. I hope for it to be used more in smart contracts, because if it does price will surely pump.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocoins cold storage: hdd/ssd on: July 28, 2017, 02:02:39 PM
Hi everyone,  i want to store my crytpcoins offline in cold storage for many years and wait for them to raise in value then sell back... So what do you think of installing desktop opensource wallets for my coins(eg:  wallet for each coin ripple,  doge, dash...) on an external hardrive or ssd and keep it always offline in a drawer then get it online only for occasional use ?
and by the way which is best ? hdd or ssd ? (dont wanna use usb drive)
For me your best option is to store it onto an external hard drive(hdd) so that it is more compact and easy to get when you need it. I don't recommend what you are gonna do though because one must be fast in buying and selling an altcoin that is not well known. But if you are doing it just because you are confident that your stash have future, continue your plan and be updated on crypto news.
