Can we see pre halving dump in order to create lowest low.
And then we have just to wait..

It's an average time prediction, but according to bitcoinclock.com the latest info is ; Reward-Drop ETA: 2016-07-17 13:01:37 UTC (25 weeks, 1 day, 6 hours, 50 minutes) I think we have a higher chance to see the price go up instead of down. Let's be realistic and fair and say that we might reach an average price of $500-$600 by the time the halving completes. |

How can a theft of so many coins not make people panic. It doesn't matter if you keep it secret for a year or more, when the news that the exchange has been "hacked" and "lost" millions worth of coins leaks out, then the panic will be as heavy as when they would have told it from the start.
Does any one knows the BTC addresses of all the Cryptsy cold wallets?

It just doesn't make sense. I agree that it is time for the core devs to finally come up with a solution, but going on board with an alternative is just not the way to do it. Right now it's Bitcoin classic that they back, but what's next? If another alternatives offers something different that they like, will they then hop over to the next alternative? This shit must end.

i am quite sure the chinese pumpers or whoever they really are come back and cause a massive bull run. the only thing is, where will the price end up going. if we go back to lower $300's, which i don't think will happen, the the bull run will probably peak around $500-$550. that's not exactly what people were hoping for. it is what it is, we have to deal with it if it turns out to be like this.
What most people here are hoping for is unrealistic. If they know how markets work then they would be a whole lot less optimistic as far as the short term goes. Some people think the price would reach $1000 in January....uhhhhhhuuuummmm. Hope is gone. |

Just lol. Reaching $1000 again will probably be one of the most difficult things for Bitcoin to achieve. Let alone $10000 within 3 years. Even if we do reach $1000, then we will see the price go down in no time.

It was an expected drop as the support around the $400 price level was too weak to hold. I think we'll sit around $380-$420 for at least a week or two.
Then what? Continue to slide down or do the Chinese pumpers come back? It will bounce up again. I am quite sure the pump that people are waiting for will start within 2 months. The big boys have had enough time to accumulate plenty of coins already. It's due for a massive pump. |

I don't mind people who do this as long as it isn't for cloud mining, ponzi, or any other scam related thing. If it is to review an hardware wallet for example, then I don't mind it. If you simply use your common sense and do some actual research about the product, then you can easily avoid buying something which isn't being the product as it was advertised. People are doing this as well on youtube and these videos mostly get a lot thumbs down because they are too obvious.

I checked the price this morning after I woke up and it dipped below $400 that was unexpected.
Perhaps it was unexpected for you, but when the buy support is struggling to build itself around the $400 level, it will just be a matter of days before the price comes down. And as you see, it happened. |

would be glad if that the case, i would purchase some more when i see a sure positive sign , i dont like the volatile nature , its good for traders , but not good to see when i am holding it.
When you are starting to see some positive signs it means the price is already rising. If you buy when there isn't any good news or good signals, then you have a lot potential profit that you can catch. You should have bought when the price was still below $400. But still, it's not too late to buy yet. |

I don't think we will be seeing 300 again any time soon, if ever.
The best thing to do is HODL until after the halving at least.
People were also not expecting to see the price fall below $400 anymore this year, but it still happened. Anything can happen when it comes to Bitcoin as we have seen plenty of times already. Did any one expect the price to go sub $200 in 2015? Nope. But it still happened. |

I have introduced some people to Bitcoin back in 2013 and one of them have bought at the crash from a few days ago. He said he will hold it for a few years and not look at the price anymore from the day he bought. For him it's just an investment, but still, he thinks Bitcoin has some sort of a good future as he is willing to hold for the long term.

January 2016 will pass soon. So the price might reach $2000 in January 2017. Even so, I am happy for the price increase. $2000 in 2017 is a more realistic price target. We first need to touch the magical $1000 barrier before we have a fantasy about $2000. Yeah that is true at leas t if we reach 1500 dollars that is a possible that we can see a 200 dollars so that will be nice if that reach at that can be stable. So weird that people think that this year is for bitcoin that the price can just go up. I think we need to let to the people what is bitcoin and the company's to make bitcoin grow. I can't blame them for thinking the price will only go up this year as we still have the block halving in front of us. It makes people excited and think that they can make a great profit. Nothing wrong with that. |

it is really a buy time of bitcoins beacuse with it is the starting of the year's month so it would be best if we buy some btc.
also according to the rainbow slop diagram we can see the value of btc i creases year by year .
so according to me it would be better option to buy btc as a self investment.
It think it is buying time, not becuase of the new year. It is because the bitcoin price is still low and will increase further. Why buy it if you can earn it that way you dont lose anything and yah, I hope the price will jump as the months going to passby People have various reasons to buy Bitcoin, one of them being that they are trading with it. Yes, you can earn Bitcoin by doing small jobs, signature camaigns, etc. But the amounts are too low to be considered an investment. These earnings are just a nice bonus on top of what you already have. |

We're nearing towards the end of the first month.
I was hoping for bitcoin to reach $600 this month but I don't see that happening anymore
I believe most of the growth has been holding back because of the recent news lately surrounding bitcoin
$600 for this month was too high to become reality. Even $500 will be very difficult to reach as this dump made people buy at sub $400 prices, and thus there will be more sellers when we approach $500 the comming month(s). The bad news from Cryptsy and Mike Hearn was just a small bump in our road to $500, but we'll be there eventually. Patience is needed here. |
