Hi everyone.

Iv got those results on minning Lbry algoritm:

https://i.imgur.com/3IUgYHA.png

Is it ok ?

Why i have dropdowns on GPU #3 ?

yuh good job
https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=calc gives estimates of 320, and 470 for the Ti, so yes seems good
'dropdowns': could be anything: rig is 'overcrowded' so #3 overheating, a bad gpu, a bad riser, typo in bat file...
follow these threads and ask there maybe https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877588.0

Its like youre all a bunch of spam bots. But are being paid btc by advertisers for your sigs and clogging up any good conversation.

I mean I want to get loans and signature program abilities too. But jesus yall. You guys type like youre a drunk 5 year old. All just bury new content.....

Its frustrating to see such a large community doing basically nothing good for itself.

Bring back giveaways, altruism and begging threads.  Stop this madness.

largely agree, though i guess last line is sarcasm, yes?

there's a tiny amount of 'new content' here, but you have to be good at sifting, ignoring, and finding the few members worth following
9628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is your favourite oxymoron? on: June 08, 2017, 07:07:00 AM
These oxymorons are particularly nagging at me now.

They are contradictions in terms that seem to hinder many discussions.

pl vote, discuss, disprove etc

TL;DR Seasteading will allow for the decentralizing of nations the same way Bitcoin decentralizes currency.
btc decentralises nation states - what is for example the USG without the US$? and what is the USA without the USG? Angry people with guns.
and boats. any ship or island when that shtf will be a sitting target for pirates.

As are we all at all times. What's your point?
that it is safer to blend in on land than to seastead (concession: possibly also less thrilling)

... read the threads

exactly this.
note that the backlog of gpus you mentioned are a bit inefficient now.
if you want to go into mining, mine altcoins and convert to btc.
if you want to invest in btc, buy it and hold it, but ask lots of questions first in the relevant parts of the forum about how best to do that.

on no account should you trust genesis mining or anything like that

Pirates sound scary!

Could even make a sport out of them...target practice.

lol well yes they weren't much of a match. point is pirates will seize bigger gvt assets

So you're basically saying that seasteads will be such a great thing that people will be clamoring to get to one.

Reminds me of the early days of Bitcoin when the Keynesians were saying that nobody will ever buy bitcoins because the value will keep rising.

I concede they might be a great thing well after the anarchy of hyperbitcoinization has settled down.

For now and during the chaos they are a tiny 51%-able altcoin.

I was mining at that time... and have less then 90% of shares rewarded but didn't receive nothing... And that would be about 0,34BTC. And the idea to give this to current users. No! Users from that time were effected not users that were mining 2,5 years later... So you should give it to users from Juny 2014 back since that would happened in a normal process that wouldn't take 2,5 years... And we were screaming long before June 2014 that this was happening...
(only just catching up with this farce myself)
agree. this was handled badly and advices from counsel were downright barmy. I left off mining at eligius because of all this nonsense, hoping one day to be paid back my money. instead they sent it to a new round of suckers.
stupid of me to trust anyone in bitcoin however well-intentioned they may be.
9636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Barry Silbert segwit agreement with >80% miner agreement. on: June 07, 2017, 05:00:28 AM
there's a scaling problem?

I don't get this. Can you give us cliffs on how this solves the problem of scalability that 20MB brings and the lack of decentralization that 1MB + Lightning Network brings? (and eventually problems anyway because even with 1MB + LN the 1MB will eventually not be enough).
if there's a problem of scalability the devs will get to it once they have done the more important work such as freeing the client from the cruft wrongheadedly added in recent years

No. Casper can survive 51% attacks happening once in a while; we can just delete the attackers' deposits and keep going.

Good to know...

Good lord. And the ETH supporters, who were originally all principled Bitcoiners, now apparently don't give a shit about a permissionless, trustless cryptocurrency that can't be just rolled back, censored, or 'deleted'.

Talk about justifying one's position. Not to mention I think it's humorous that nobody but Vitalik really even knows how ETH works at the nuts and bolts level, or what it's flaws are. Gonna be a huge disaster in the future.

It's ok, Vladimir knows too: http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/54677
9638  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: June 05, 2017, 10:45:39 AM
Hi, newbie question.

I have looking for across forum but I not found response about it.
I think I can mining to nicehash using multiple PC, so when I configure it, under windows with nicehash miner soft, I can set worker name, under worker name input on gui ( and set BITCOINADDRESS)
I mining using ubuntu with cpuminer too, setting worker name after bitcoinaddress like:

./cpuminer -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://cryptonight.eu.nicehash.com:3355 --userpass=BITCOINADDRESS.WORKERX:x

  So the question is:

What is the purpose or function of establishing the worker's name if, then, in the stats page (https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=miners&addr=BITCOINADDRESS) I can´t see stats per worker?¿

I do not know what to think, maybe I'm setting something wrong and that's why I do not see the statistics per worker OR ¿perhaps all the work of the miners is shown jointly in the stats page? Huh

Thanks for help

click on 'cryptonight' under algorithms
it should show your workers
