9643  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Spread some Merit. on: February 12, 2018, 02:26:08 PM

I have some sMerit that I can use, pwede niyong ilink mga post niyo dito na Pwedeng imerit. Since hindi ganun kadami ang sMerit ko, I think some Pinoys can help me to merit those posts na "Merit-able". Sa tingin ko, I can pick one post per day. 2 merits pinakamataas kong ibibigay since as I said, hindi naman ganun kataas ang sMerit ko. Also if you have some suggestions, PM na lang po ako. Thanks.

Tignan natin ang both sides.

Nasa tao kasi yan eh.

This post is a good post I think but I think you are posting this in order to get merit points from the posters that you added. One more thing, maybe try to find some lower members who are posting extraordinary posts too because there are some low rank users here with high quality posts.
9647  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: February 12, 2018, 11:14:11 AM
I don't think satoshi is dead at this moment, maybe satoshi is your neighbor? Maybe satoshi is one of the admins here or maybe... nahhh I don't know and it doesn't matter for me if satoshi is dead or not. What is important is, satoshi created the currency of the century and because of satoshi's development, many coins have been created - making a domino effect.

Or maybe the real satoshi nakamoto is Dorian Nakamoto?? or Craig Wright? What do you think? Grin Grin
9648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi on: February 12, 2018, 10:32:46 AM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
If you know many things about bitcoin then share it to them then ask what is the definition of "Ponzi" and "Scam". In my experience, the people who are saying bitcoin as a ponzi or scam doesn't know really what is the definition of these 2 terms.

You want so give them some hints? They are your friends right? You know how they are thinking about a certain thing and as you said, they think bitcoin as a scam. You don't need to give some hints to them. What are you going to do?? Just continue earning and let them see what you have achieved in earning here in cryptocurrency and that is the time that they will change their mind and will join in what you are doing. You don't need to educate them especially if they are close-minded.

Just continue earning and show it to your friends in the future that the thing they say its a scam is the thing that will make you rich in the next years.

9655  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin volatility prevent adoption? on: February 12, 2018, 02:14:38 AM
Yes bitcoin's volatility prevents mass adoptions woldwide. Lets take this situation, a company X gives salary to the employees in bitcoin and suddenly the price of bitcoin increases and after few days it decreases again. It will be a huge loss for the company and what is the reason? Volatility.

In my opinion, bitcoin can be adopted but not a mass adoption because volatility is preventing it.
9656  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: February 12, 2018, 01:49:35 AM
I understand what you are saying right now because we have the right to express our own opinion. In your options, I agree with the options 1-4 but the remaining ones? I think I will disagree.

You said in number 7 that bitcoin is not store of value. Can I ask this question, how did the US dollar got its value?? How did the other currencies got its value? Bitcoin got its value because many people put money into it because they trusted it. Try to watch some documentaries regarding bitcoin to know about this.

In option 9 you said that bitcoin has limited supply. Is the limited supply or bitcoin making it useless?? Its the reverse. Because of the limited supply of bitcoin,  it avoids inflation. Not like the other currencies now that are hyperinflated (Zimbabwe currency), bitcoin prevents inflation because of its limited supply.

Make some deeper research before posting here and saying that bitcoin is useless ok.
9657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many topic should I post at a time for getting merit ? on: February 11, 2018, 11:37:13 PM
I'm newbie and want to learn more from this forum.I want to know that How many topic I should post per day for getting ?which is the best topic for getting more merit ?
If you only need knowledge in this forum then your rank doesnt matter because you can have an access on it as you will become a jr. member (no merit required). One more its not the number of post per day, its the quality of your posts that matters when they will give you a merit or not.
9658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid scams ? on: February 11, 2018, 10:52:43 PM
At this moment, the scams are in the form of ICOs already although there are some who are doing the pyramid scheme. You can avoid it in many ways but I only know 2 ways
1. Do some research about it. If there is a team behind it, if the team has reputation already or if they are trusted. Look for possible things that will make them a legit one.

2. This is not for the ICO but for the pyramid scheme. For example they say invest X amount of bucks and it will give a 50% interest every month. See the return of investment. Think about it and don't be too greedy. Don't fall into their trap just because of the huge return. They tend to control your emotions. See if the return is too good to be true.
9659  Other / Meta / Re: The reality is 99.9% members can never rank up with the new merit system. on: February 11, 2018, 02:56:22 PM
To be honest when I see this new merit system and what it can gives the community, I see it as a good thing although I put into my mind also that I will be a full member for a long time (about a year or 2) or maybe forever. Yes maybe its true that 99.9% of the members here will never rank up again like me but if this is the only solution to remove shitposters here who are posting just shitty posts in order to rank up then let it be.

Because of this reality, maybe one time I will see a member rank with more than 1000 activities.
