We need first to promote bitcoin much more in the public, specially we should try to explain and educate merchants why bitcoin is good for their business.
We also need media on our side (maybe send them some presentations about bitcoin), even we should try to teach about bitcoin in the schools etc.
It's long and complicate process but only in this way people can become positive about bitcoin, confident and start using it.
Eventually, bitcoin will become mainstream, many people will use it on daily basis and we will see also price increase etc.
If we don't help bitcoin nothing will happen.

In my opinion she had much better chance 8 years ago with Obama.

I visited USA a few times and I really enjoyed!
So many special experiences with people, unique places, culture, so many great possibilities for business, learning etc.
USA is really mix of so much different people, nationalities, beliefs, and true example that all people can live together, as one global family.

I think that in next a year or two future of bitcoin will be decided.
If we finally make breakthrough and becomes mainstream future will be bright.
Otherwise, this will be just another great project and vision without success.

We need a lot people using and promoting bitcoin before BTC becomes mainstream.

Russia have such history and tradition with their rulers.
Russia also has a long tradition of democracy. Just for example, Republics of Pskov and Novgorod existed a long before the US even were formed. If we speak about the Empire, then courts were independent and judges were democratically elected for 3-year term. If I remember well, nobody resigned or gave power to others in last 1000 years!

Nicholas II - agreed to establish constitutional monarchy in 1905; Nicholas II - resigned in 1917; Grand Duke Michael - resigned in 1917; Malenkov - impeached in 1955; Khruschev - resigned in 1964 under a threat of impeachment; Yeltsin - resigned in 1999; Well, that I was able to remember in few minutes. After all, there are no real opposition in Russia now.
There is a plenty of real oppositional powers, they're holding a significant share of seats in the parliament. P.S. Liars like you have turned "democracy" into an obscene word. So, you are talking about democracy in ancient time, under kings? And all this rulers resigned because they was forced to do this, not because of their free will. Even in modern age, during communist regime, everybody stayed in the office until death.
So, I really doubt Putin will do anything different.

For now, I prefer my money to be in cash. It's obvious reason for it, I can't use bitcoin much in my country, there are almost no Bitcoin ATM, very few merchants accept bitcoin, no BTC debit cards etc. I hope such situation will change in the near future but right now it's much more practical to have cash in pocket |

Interesting question. Isn't bitcoin also money in some way, if we can use BTC and money for the same purpose- to buy some product or service? Question should be different, can virtual money replace real one (on the paper)? I don't think this will happen in the near future because of our habits and complicate procedures to do this in reality but in long term, who knows? |

Europe is in serious crisis now but it's not first time.
Remember First world War, WW ii etc?
Every time Europe managed to survive because of unity and common vision between members.
Europe still have time to unite again, find common goal and vision and move on but no so much time left.
I hope to see some positive changes in Europe soon.
Merkel is maybe only hope for Europe now, someone with clear vision what to do and how to guide Europe.

I'm not sure about best political system (not sure if such thing even exist) but best country for me is definitely Switzerland.
Reach and stable economy, friendly people, relax atmosphere, public service perfect, strong currency, political stability, wonderful nature, so much possibility for good jobs and life etc.
