981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: September 21, 2016, 01:34:56 PM
gambling addiction is a horrible thing, because it will make you lose a lot of money, you might think that you have unbeatable strategy but it is impossible

making strategies  in gambling doesnt make sense since theres no strategy on gambling  and  you would definitely lose money when you play gambling because of the house edge. Gambling addiction is  so hard to remove  from yourself especially when you are already got  hooked into it,
Yes, usually no strategy will work against gambling house. We can assume gambling house must be the ultimate winner at the end of our gambling. So, struggling for making profit from gambling by spending more time for creating any strategy usually ends up in total vain. Alternatively, people are overstaying with a gambling for the purpose of creating strategy which is also ends up in gambling addiction.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: September 21, 2016, 12:44:15 PM
Im super mega greedy where im trying always my luck on gambling website which is i always get lose and i always get nothing on sh*tty website  Cry Cry hope that i never played on that website so that i can't lose my money that fast well i learned my lesson for today and i will never do that again greedisness is not solution for making easy money at all time  Cry Cry
Greediness will always results in loss, i'd once lost 200 mbtc trying to make just 5 mbtc profit. there are many folks who've tried to make a small profit but instead of profit they have lost big amount.

Yes, that is true. In gambling, we shouldn't have any target to make a profit. Instead, we should have a target for losing a certain amount per session then you can reduce you loses in gambling. If you have a target to make a profit, then you will chase for it and end up losing more money.
But, gambling without any particular target in mind is even worst because with a target you can stop yourself from gambling more and hence saving the possible loss.
While if you have no goal then you will keep gambling unless you start loosing and then getting upset once all lost.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: September 21, 2016, 02:41:32 AM
gambling is a risky game. a child does not deserve to play gambling. a little boy still must be monitored and maintained associations and activities to get a better future. pressure in playing gambling is very strong.
And I am yet confused why will someone give access to internet for kids to make them earn online ? LOL .. anyways I think yes gambling is not made for kids and that is the exact reason why they ask you to verify that you are over 18 years of age when making a account on most sites.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: September 19, 2016, 02:06:00 PM
Today gambling make me cry again i lose 0.05 today i earn that bitcoin for 3 weeks from signature campaign and now lose it to gambling website i really hate it when im always loosing money i jist wasted 0.05 of my bitcoin again. Ugh
why the crap then are you gambling your money? if you even have to cry for it then you should definitely stop gambling because it is clearly not entertaining for you if you even admit that you just waste your money, i can never understand such people to be honest. gambling never makes me cry and i doubt it will ever do that in the future because i just not play with the money i cannot afford to lose, thats why i never cry for my losses i get
And the even worst case for him is that the money ( 0.05 btc ) were not something he got for free or without any hard work, he earned the money with his signature campaigns and must have worked hard to earn that amount.
I think friend you should at least lower bets if you cannot stop it at all otherwise you are wasting your hard earned money.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 19, 2016, 01:21:08 PM
I gamble for fun mostly, I play poker so there is a chance that if I become really good I could see some profit but right now I am not at that level.

Poker is wonderful way to have fun there, that is true it's very profitable for skilled players and if we play more in our spare time than we can increase our skill and chance to make guaranteed profit by playing poker.
I want to learn this game but only to have some fun because i dont want to be addicted in gambling i know oportunity is there if you know how to play well.

Well if you are really going to make gamble as source of your entertainment I would say that you must be able to control yourself and as well as your pocket. Because once you are already enjoying playing gambling you won't notice when you are losing already. You are not going to care for your money because you are already enjoying.
Absolutely accurate. I think most of the people say they gamble for fun while they are rushing for money and some people think winning is good and loosing is bad but in actual loosing will detach users from gambling while winning will make you addicted to gambling.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 19, 2016, 01:07:15 PM
If you try to focus on other activities that may attract your attention, or even bring profits, you can find it easier to stay away from gambling.
I agree . there are many besides gambling to earn bitcoin easily. gambling will only bring defeat when unable to control appetite.
Earning with gambling is only a false saying because in actual when we gamble the only reason is that because we are addicted and yes I agree we all want to earn money, but we all know that we will loose yet we gamble, why ? Because we are totally addicted and cannot avoid it. I personally was addicted to sports betting in my early 20's
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 18, 2016, 03:59:41 PM
I consider trading a much better option than gambling, because trading you have possibility for good earnings and you can lower your risks with knowledge and strategy.
But the same way, you can also lower your loss in gambling if you have good knowledge about what you are doing and follow a particular strategy and stop on winning certain amount. Yes though I am not promoting gambling over trading because gambling brings addiction while trading does not, but still both have their own risks.
988  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: September 18, 2016, 01:44:17 PM
There's alot of safe ways to grow your bitcoin but the problem with using safe ways is that it's kinda not worth it that badly unless your a teen.
Cause the return of money you get from those ways are too small to be useable as most adults. But for example forum campaigns are very safe.

YOu think forum campaigns are not worth for an adult person? because it's earning is very small?
I don't think so mate.
with a good ranked account you can earn around 70 to 150$ a month from signature campaign and I don't think so it is a small or worthless amount for such easy work.
70$ is a good part time salary.

Yeah, and there are even countries where people live their lives with just 70$-80$ a month so for such countries even signature campaign earnings are enough if you can successfully earn that amount every month.
I doubt if in some countries peoples are living their lives with only 70 80 dollars then they can hardly get access to Internet or computer... In my country there is some villages where peope living for that much money(even for lower) but in those areas no such equipments available.. not even electricity available there.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: September 18, 2016, 08:56:20 AM
where i can get online wallet for win?

Wait for the announcement of devs

hope to see win32 wallet soon and listing on exchanges. would like to see how things turn out in the first few weeks when its listed on the exchanges. I'd be surprise if price went up but i'm willing to buy more if devs can actually make its value go up after a year.
I need a win32 wallet too.
people saying win32 is not being used anymore. but it is not correct. lots of people still using win32 operating system.
OP devs consider this things. and launch wallet in both 32 and 64 versions..
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: September 18, 2016, 08:54:04 AM
I believe lisk will be the greatest crypto of 2017, and peak/average between  .005-.01 BTC.
I have not touched my coins and holding. All these bumps with monero, etc, Lisk will have its turn.
keep hoping dude. but never forget this is crypto currency world and thinking and believing something before the time may harm you and your wealth..
lisk is a good project though I agree..

Any working Lisk faucet ? Smiley
I've got this for you.

hope it helps you.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Focus on Crypto Bullion! on: September 18, 2016, 08:42:46 AM

i think if it happens, CBX value at $5, it will be great and a miracle too.

Yes, this whale seems to be an early investor who wants out for whatever personal reasons: he puts his CBX back for sale everytime price gets close to 60 000 satoshis. We know how much he has - let's just say that we don't need that many people to be rid of this undeserved pressure on CBX, forever.

Problem is, people look at CBX, it looks nice - it's the perfect coin, really, but they are afraid to invest. Everybody is looking at each other - why aren't the others buying CBX? There must be something wrong with CBX, so I will wait. If everybody thinks and acts this way, we get the sluggish market we see today, and CBX does not move.

So you know the whale who sells at 60000 Sats and beyond. So how many coins does this Whale has ? So we can buy accordingly to get rid of him

Yes, we know how much he has and we have bought many of his CBX already; but I think we should not focus on this single person.

We need more people on board, plain and simple. In cryptocurrency there is nothing a large group of enthusiasts can't do; CBX can be great again just like it was in 2013 and beat all this competition. What we need to focus on is people need to start buying and the phenomenon will feed on itself.

Many mainstream coins of today have run their course and it will be hard for them to go further, for many reasons. It's easy to see CBX is a nice coin that has not run its course and has a lot of easy room to grow for the benefit of all adopters. To get rid of the whale people need to start buying, and it can go pretty fast.

Technologically, CBX needed an upgrade, this is why we are attempting to bring Quintessence forward; this is also another way to bring more people onboard with us.
I really appreciate what you are doing.. your efforts will not bo worthless. the recent dump was unexpected but now I got to know what is the reason.
you are right. we need more community support for CJ. need more and serious holders. hope this tiny quintessence project will help it a lot.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICOBID PLATFORM - EXECUTE ICOs for YOUR IDEAS - EARLY SUPPORTER BOUNTY on: September 17, 2016, 05:42:51 PM
why in listed https://www.ico-list.com/
procces ico not use escrow, i can see in there fund keppers not use scrow
but use dev
i think increase trust proces ico must use escrow

I would be better if the dev had used an escrow, because it offers some kind of clarity to the investors.
Needless to say the project as it is, is interesting.
my suggestion to everyone is never ever invest anything to any  coin which is running without escrow. I think we learned this lesson many times. only an idiot will join.
and my suggestion to the dev is if you are serious about your coin and want to see it to becot successful then better to use escrow. there is no reason to refuse oe deny using escrow.(unless you are a scammer)
993  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: September 17, 2016, 05:26:13 PM
You can simply just invest it into the bitcoin or a altcoin to make some good money, I'm pretty sure you can make good money with this.
The bitcoin has a good worth and its also that they are having a great future a head.
investment in altcoin sucks nowadays.. specialy in new altcoins.
every day a new altcoin launches and most of them are only P&D coins which only made by those who want to get profit. and than leave the coin. so choose a coin with extremely caution.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Omicron - Dividend-Issuing Currency - 43 BTC raised, 2 days left for crowdsale! on: September 16, 2016, 05:23:19 PM
I'm really concern with the low funding for this project so far and I think they did well with their marketing considering the level of funding raised so far, my real concern is that this project seems similar to ICONOMI maybe there is little differentiation or so but 44btc make me worry on how they are going to implement their vision for the project, I hope things turn out to be great.
do you think it is because of op's past? he have negative feedback for running ponzi scheme. this could be a reason why users not interested enough..
this project hopefully a legit one.. now lets see how these guys will manage this.
995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn money in this forum? on: September 12, 2016, 05:11:52 PM
Besides joining a signature campaign, you can also sell goods and services.  You can take a look at the Marketplace to see things that people are looking to buy.
Very nice suggestion beside from joining in signature campaign you can also have services if you have some skill that you can offer to people who really needs your help as johnny said you can also sell good and services just visit the link he posted so that you can learn it
I definitely want to agree with you.  only relaying on signature campaign is not a smart move. you should have a backup plan for earning bitcoin. if by chance a signature campaign got closed or you didn't selected there then you should have something to do. the best choice for me is altcoin trading..
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: September 12, 2016, 05:05:42 PM
Everythin is used for q criminal activity, i eon't believe that that fact could hurt bitcoin thqt much on the long run. Thqt fact could slow down btcs progress at the beginning but i believe it wont have any impact later on.
That is true that everything can be used for illegal activity. We cannot deny the fact that even the best of currencies are being used by people for illegal activities but there is nothing wrong in it. I mean if we are not using it for illegal activity then we don't have to worry or get upset that bitcoins are being used for any wrong activity.
I don't even think it will effect bitcoin at all. it won't make it's price slower or anything. if people using bitcoin for illegal activities then it is those people's fault. those people should be guilty for doing these activities.. not bitcoin.
bitcoin is just a currency. it is upto users that how they treat it and how they use it.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FACT CHECK: Bitcoin Blockchain will be 700GB in 4 Years on: September 12, 2016, 04:29:38 PM
You make me really scared OP.. if it happens and bitcoin block size reach to 700GB in that time.. no one can download and use bitcoin core client.. or maybe people who have  super computers can afford to download and install it.

Is that the end of Bitcoin? Huh Huh Huh
998  Other / Meta / Re: Ancient Bitcoin Talk accounts logging in on: September 12, 2016, 03:26:18 PM
I saw in digital good section lots of users selling old accounts with low UID number.. I think these accounts are probably hacked and now being sold... so all those people who selling these accounts are may be hackers or have some connections to hackers.
999  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ? on: September 12, 2016, 04:35:03 AM
Not forum, but you can sell your stuff in open bazaar

I don't think places like open bazaar or olx etc or other online markets are for digital goods, and OP is willing to sell digital goods but not physical goods, digital goods are mostly sold in forums where people come looking for such things.
I think you are not aware of Openbazaar, openbazaar is a online web source where people buy sell their digital goods.
Openbazaar is very good option to sell digitalcoins. you can open your own digital goods shop in Openbazaar, org and sell everything there.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Decentralized Debit Cards | OCaml | New Blockchain Platform on: September 10, 2016, 03:30:03 AM

As we said previously to the release date we should reach a consensus with SJ. This is the final plan we both agreed:

1) Define the 9% PoW before Friday. // By far the most voted option at the moment is "b".
2) On Friday communicating the decision to SJ.
3) Release the qt wallet before September 19th.
4) On September 19th the refund period will ends and the remaining funds will be released.
5) Start the distribution.
6) List on exchanges.
7) Launch the beta during October.

The distribution of the coins can not start earlier because it would be totally unfair to investors in the first phase as SJ he said:

Quote
How about making a timeframe of two weeks from the day we have an agreement settled. This should be sufficient time for investors to check for the status of the coin and make a decision.

The problem is that if wasserman99 would release the coins now to ico 1 investors then I either would have to refund all ico 2 users or forward all coins of users that do want a refund. The latter is no real choice. The reason is that they could hedge against the price of the coin otherwise. Ask for a refund with the coin price drops or ask for the coins when they rise in value.

If wasserman99 sends coins before that timeframe to ico 1 then a refund to ico 2 has to happen to not make it possible to force a forwarding.
If coins are sent to ico 1 and 2 then still ico 2 bitcoins has to be refunded for the same reason.

We are in touch,

Regards

Hi,

The most voted option was b). Thus, we continue with that in mind for the wallet. So will be pure PoS with 3% Annual Interest. The qt wallet will be ready before the september 19th but the distribution will start after that date for reasons that can read above, agreed by the escrow.

Regards
I see you guys completely ignoring Bounty payments.... when will you pay signature bounty? because you decide to pay in BTC, I don't think there is any reason to delay signature bounty till wallet launch and distribution etc.
I want to request lutpin to ask SebastianJu to consider signature bounty also... (is SebastianJu only holding ICO funds?)
