981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost basically my entire investment last night doing something very stupid... on: November 02, 2017, 07:54:02 PM
You need to step back and know if you are in it to invest or to gamble.

Seems like you are a gambler...you can lose your wealth that way whether in cash, crypto, gold, silver, real estate, etc.  Once you got this out your system, come back and invest.

Good luck!
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: November 02, 2017, 07:45:17 PM
Even if you buy on the exchange where it is listed you won't be able to withdraw the tokens, I really don't see the hype around this project because to me it doesn't justify it if not that it is the first ICO on NEO platform

It is smart not to buy coins/tokens you don't believe in...specially since there is more than a 1,000 to choose from.  Smiley

I may be the one who bought those domain names...and I am not affiliated with Amazon in any way. Wink

You can buy GoogleBitcoin, AppleBitcoin, BMWBitcoin, SamsungBitcoin, etc.  Got the drift???

Many people prospect and buy domain names in hope to sell them later for big bucks.

BTW, it is not me...just using that as an example.

Unless you work for Amazon. Wink It was actually amazon that registered for these domain names according to the report.
I concede...I ran and checked and so far looks like owned by Amazon Legal Department

987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Investors Doomed on: November 02, 2017, 02:46:52 PM
Bitcoin value is going high every minute, and its gonna keep going up too. So all the people who invested their bitcoin in alts for long term are doomed now.
I don't think they will be able to recover their investments.
Are you one of those people too? What are your thoughts?

I think this is a very ignorant summation of the cryptocurrency as a whole.

BTC is gaining and I am happy for those who are invested on it.  Review this post a few months in 2018 and tell me again alts are doomed.  If the trend continues, I will apologize and acknowledge your "wisdom". Smiley
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BTC at $7,130...a major test of strong hands... on: November 02, 2017, 01:33:45 PM
With BTC at ATH and "sucking" most of the crypto funds, all the alts are suffering.  I am not worried (not selling either) but it is disappointing to see my portfolio total.

If anything, my only regret is not having enough to buy these "sale" coins/tokens.  I used up my reserves a bit sooner and bought prematurely. Cheesy  Good deals but not as good as they are now.

The thing that excites me right now is the vision of the future when they rebound after Segwit2X. Smiley
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is this so cheap? on: November 01, 2017, 08:24:35 PM
Want cheap?

Check RPX, REQ, LINK, KNC, ODN, CDN, ENG, DNT... Wink

did you meant CND (instead of CDN).. ? right?

Yes, CND (Cindicator) sorry.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: November 01, 2017, 08:18:25 PM
I bought RPX after the first selloff, at the bottom, and before the second selloff (which I held through), so if you got in around the bottom I think it's worth holding for a month. I know people who have good track records who like red pulse, but personally, I don't like NEO soooo I'm gonna get out when I can lol.

I just hope KCS picks up the pace again! It was thanks to Kucoin being a bit slow that I was able to get into RPX when I did, though haha.

Holding NEO, RPX, and KCS (among many)...I think they are all winners. Wink

My KCS  bag is light...I want more of it.

Red pulse is assian and it's always the best to stay away from assian based projects. They're probably under China's pressure and this is not a good sign for being their investor.
For the record, I am Asian-American...not all Asian countries are subject to China's "pressure".  I'll give you point that RPX and NEO are Chinese companies and while China can affect their operation, I want to believe that cryptocurrency has no borders.

993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo -Gui wallet on: November 01, 2017, 05:23:07 PM
We missed out on the ICO for RPX and the script hash said it wasn't valid for the NEON wallet and we downloaded the NEO-GUI wallet for to put our RPX from KUCoin in, put the wallet still has waiting on next block and a green bar is going through as the weight just keeps increasing. Can we put in our coins as this process is going on or is there a specific weight it has to reach before wallet is usable?Huh Help please as we would like to take our coins off the exchange.

I tried as well but getting this message "Withdrawal of this asset is not available for now".

Not sure when it will be available.
Plug your private key into https://neotracker.io/
Paste destination address, number of RPX, send.  Takes seconds to receive, minutes to fully confirm.
I thought the question is how to withdraw RPX from KuCoin to the private wallet.  I didn't have any problems depositing.

995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💗 Red Pulse Token (RPX): What do you think? on: November 01, 2017, 01:43:05 PM
Red Pulse Token just only exchanging on Kucoin with small volume around 4BTC.
It's still hard to say about it maybe it will be dump lower than ICO as BTC hit new ATH 6500+ now.
I would take some for long term with it as their potential team here.
Hope it bring good profit for us

Not sure where you got that but at Coinmarketcap...it is at $2.5 million

In KuCoin, they are showing;

$26.84 million on the BTC trading side
$  9.56 million on the ETH trading side
$17.24 million on the NEO trading side
====
$53.64 million total 24H volume

53.64M RPX not $ lol... which would make more or less 2.5M$ at 0.05$ per token

LOL...thanks!!!  That makes sense now.  So sorry.

Still not just 4 BTC worth Cheesy

What do you think about RPX? It's very hyped, Kucoin exchange got totally swamped cos of it.

Is it a good time to enter? Still just 24% above ICO... https://coincodex.com/crypto/red-pulse-token/
I'd buy now if I am you.

WARNING - I may be biased since I am heavily invested.  It is very cheap right now (much cheaper than my purchase) and may be the best time to buy.

Good luck!

999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin & Binance are the new Bittrex & Polo ? seems so. on: October 31, 2017, 07:46:19 PM
Uhm so this is just a kind of murky pyramide ponzi scheme (referal system where you earn from referall fee with multiple levels) which hides behind a exchange?

Did i get it right?

Businesses use referral to attract customers, this doesn't make them a Ponzi. In this case there are still platforms where people can exchange coins versus other people.
What I pointed out was that OP came out with an over-scaled comparison just to lure people click on his ref link.

First there seem to be a misunderstanding, everyone can check it out without registering...they just can't trade.

If they did it right, even if somebody registers in a month, your referral link will still be in effect. Yes, it depends on how they do the referral policy.
And I think that you know that too.

The users have nothing to lose. Still, I don't like this ref practice.

Can't blame you and can respect that.  Thanks for the civil discussion Smiley

Well sure, but we are all trading the same coins. This incentive program drives trading volume into their exchange. As opposed to BitConnect where someone will be left holding the bag at the end.

The big difference is that you are not putting out anything other than effort (no cost to you).  If you will trade anyway, why not?

I apply same logic in my credit cards, I get ones with cash back...collect the cash back w/o paying interest because I pay it in pull every month.  They pay me for using their service. Wink
