I've just reflected the code, and it's completely safe. The only thing to comment on would be how the code looks. Though since .NET Reflector is pretty good at decompiling good code in to hard to read code, I'd have to leave that uncommented until I can see the actual source code.
Yeah thanks, the code looks pretty rough now that i've just had a look at it with .NET reflector aswell. Pretty much this is how it works, Each new miner creates a new miner 'class', that class then starts the backend process, and reads and parses the output, it then fires off the relevant events to the GUI (well, the gui is listening) and then the gui changes the text etc.

Hey I was just curious if anyone has pushed their 5830's over the 311MHash/s Mark.
I have two Sapphire 5830's
Core Clock: 1000MHz Memory Clock: 320MHz Average Temp : 60-66C Depending on the Time of day.
Getting 311.4->311.89 using Pheonix Miner in Win7 without Aero
Pheonix settings. ================= POCLBM VECTORS AGGRESSION=12 BFI_INT WORKSIZE=128 FASTLOOP
Nice, just ordered 2 of these myself --edit, if your aggression is >7 you should remove fastloop

If GUIMiner doesn't work, check my sig
Run 4 different poclbm(?) threads, changing -d0 to -d1 then -d2 etc.
How much would you offer for a
5970
never overclocked.
Sorry just bought 2 5830's for 19btc.

I think we are getting somewhere. [me@btc 64]$ ./bitcoind getblockcount 0 [me@btc 64]$ ./bitcoind getwork error: {"code":-9,"message":"Bitcoin is not connected!"}
is this a problem with my upstream firewall? I wouldnt think so sense Im connecting to the forum on the same box.
Ah, I think that the daemon can't download the blockchain, that would make sense. Open port 8332 on your firewall and wait a while, running getblockcount periodically
Is there a way test that the daemon is responding other than trying to start a miner?
yes, there is: bitcoind getblockcount or better bitcoind getwork Remember to background the daemon while doing those, or just open a new terminal and run them.

I tried that and get: Bitcoin is not connected! But I replaced .exe with .py.. Wow, That was a quick reply. Thanks!! Make sure your running "bitcoin -daemon", check it with "ps aux | grep bitcoin" and it should be running (also netstat it if you want) then try that again.

Thanks for the replies. So now i have some free time Im back to working on my rig. Im getting closer but am still having troubles. Ive dumped Ubuntu for Fedora14. I am now getting 'Wrong username or password' message when trying to start poclbm. I have tried changing the bitcoin.conf file and still get the error. Ok... So this is what my bitcoin.conf file looks like: rpcuser=a rpcpassword=a I have tried to start the daemon these two ways: ./bitcoind -daemon and ./bitcoind -daemon -rpcuser=a -rpcpassword=a I have tried to connect these two ways: ./poclbm.py http://a:a@127.0.0.1:8332 -d 0 and ./poclbm.py --user=a --pass=a -o 127.0.0.1 -p 8332 -d 0 With the later I get this message: Bitcoin is not connected! I have made sure the daemon is running and listening on ports 8333 and 8332. I have also shut down iptables with service iptables stop. Finally Ive made sure that pocblm does find my gpu. I am unsure what to do next. I await your wisdom and advice. And I thank you for taking the time to help me. poclbm.exe -d0 --host=127.0.0.1 --port=8332 --user=a --pass=a -v -f 1

No source code, no download (at least for me)
I'll PM the code to you if you want, It's just anyone with the know how to read the code should know that .NET is easily reflectable. So I didn't post the code because some skid might rip it off, but if everyone think's I should, and it means more people will use it, i will. Relax, its sunday and very early morning on US still.
That would probably be why, thanks Im in a different timezone here

In only 11 kB, too!
Now i understand Bill Gate's famous quote "64KB is more than enough for anyone." Sure it is hahahaha +1

Seriously is nobody interested in this?
22btc = $400, you serious? :\
How much would you say for that mining account?
Hm, how much are you willing to exchange?
Ugh well I was more or less looking for an official outlet like Mt Gox to do it directly but I'm assuming you have a method.. a) What is your method? I'm just trying to find an outlet first hand. I joined a week ago and my returns are 100%+ but I still live in the dollar world I could possibly do bank deposit.
