With BitStamp having lost funds there is yet another BTC exchange in trouble now. You know what could solve all these problems and revitalize trust in exchanges? Multisig.
Guess which crypto is going to have multisig as a standard feature as part of its official wallet right from the start? NEM.
BitStamp's failure is just another negative for Bitcoin and another positive for NEM in my opinion.
Thing is, bitcoin has multisig and yet BitStamp appearantly didn't utilize it or something majorly went wrong. Hope we can convince some alt exchanges to use multi-sig. |

youl be able to rredeem your stake after launch with out penalty so stick around. 1. on nxt asset exchange - now 2. On exchanges -soon when to be listed on exchanges? can't wait to. At launch or right after that. I'll go out on a limb and say at least Poloniex will be ready at launch. The seem to have started with the implementation so unless something unexpected happens they should be ready AT launch. |

They have their agenda...these "projects" are all bullshit, they even admit they have doubts about half of them. They must be bitcoiners, make noobs burn on 2.0 platform. coindesk.com could be called bitcoindesk.com. 99% of the crypto media are invested in bitcoin which makes them biased which makes them worthless as general crypto media. cryptocoinsnews seems to be similar. |

Right. ANY PERSON can run Master Node, but not ANY CLIENT can serve as the Master Node (10,000 of open stable connections). I think you missed my point or rather I'm still not sure I understand your system. Any person can run a master node, okay I got that. Say 300 people run masternodes and there are 10 000 nodes in total i.e. 300 masternodes and 9 700 "normal" nodes. Those 300 masternodes would then do all the validation of transactions and pump out blocks while the rest of the nodes i.e. the 9 700 nodes are just nodes that broadcast tx and recieve blocks but can't do any validation. Is that about right ? |

Update: The tutorial on Cipher is done. Now eight year olds can do public key cryptography. https://github.com/skycoin/skycoin/wiki/cipherThis library handles address generation, deterministic wallets, signing transactions with private keys and encrypting data to a public key. It is the core of the Skycoin Project. The coin and everything else is built on top of this. Roadmap ... Is there any word on when we can expect a detailed whitepaper for Obelisk ? Well you know - Just too many lazy stakeholders (don't mean you or anytone in particular) that didn't feel like testing during the alpha which is why we had more bugs than expected during beta which is why implementation of multi-sig is taking longer. That's whats up. |

There was 0.4.48 release yesterday and we hit 100_000 blocks. Most likely next relese will include multisig AND will involve blockchain restart (to prepare codebase bit more for launch). (blockchain restart is also the cause why PoI competition is coming to the end). Multisig won't be avail in UI in that release. If testing will go ok, we'll be preparing for launch. thats great news so we will be launching with multisig but it just wont be in the UI? It will be in the GUI at launch it just won't be in the the GUI in next release. |
