It would be cool to implement in game betting on the players...kind of sports betting but on players Smiley

sorry for the late response, but do u mean like a spectator mode for people that have no skill for a game like this, but enjoy watching and want to bet on someone to win? Thats actually a very good idea. Let me pass on the information.

I'm curious, when the wallet is open and you click to how many are connected. is that all the wallets on the network? cause if it is, its only 9 wallets. really? only 9? that means 2 are mine. lol   or is there more the wallet is not showing?

thats the number of nodes your connected to

The main thing is, will price rise?

That remains to be seen and is the reason for this post so that coin2 can gain some attention
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Coin2.1 PoW blocks about to End on: June 23, 2014, 02:55:53 PM

In Less than 138 blocks Coin2 will become pure proof of stake, this is big achievement for us, as much as a day soon in the future when we release our first person shooter, a game that will be 100% all original. So to celebrate, I'm releasing one screenshot from the game in development, =D

Another nice thing to have would be a feature that unlocks wallet "for staking only".
Some other PoS coins use it already and I like the idea, what do you think?
 Wink

This is a good point also

I raised it a while ago

But funny thing is you can unlock the wallet for staking then once it begins to stake lock it again and it doesn't tell you its not staking

Haven't waited the time yet in a test scenario for this one to see if it stakes whilst re-locked but perhaps it could

Would prefer to be able to stake without having to key in the unlock password. In my mind the more often you key in the password the more chance of it being intercepted by someone or something nasty. As staking doesn't decrease your balance (rather the opposite) I don't see the need to password protect it or I suppose it would be better to have a simpler separate password for staking to avoid someone "accidentally" turning it off and depriving you of all those coins you could have earned.

It dont really matter if your computer is on or off for u to gain the stake, it will start generating the stake as soon as you turn it back on, but it being on serves to secure the PoS Blockchain, its always a good idea to have coins staking, and really the only need to secure your wallet is in case someone happens to know your IP and can hack their way through your firewall, or finds a way to bypass it completely(Viruses and other crap like em), mostly the most important reason to have a password on your wallet and it locked is to protect it from people with access to your computer they are stored on. Its sad to say but for 42Coin Fever even this didn't work, a hard drive is no match for a power drill, lmao. Hate laughing about it but it is a bit funny, he has had such rotten luck, i feel bad for him honestly.

Hey ... what is wrong ? With Coin2 ... 400 pages and still not dead ?

What is the plan ? LoL

Not sure if all people get it ... but it was a Joke  Grin

I got it thats why I didnt really say much about it and instead commented about everyone makin fun of the new people, we gotta answer their questions, we might be going after the real world game players, but the crypto world is still very important.

I'm just gonna LOL at people saying we do no marketing, Say "I" if you noticed the small bit we did in the last 3 days, it wasn't much but I've seen new people popping in and asking silly questions, which the more new people we have and answer these silly questions the more likely they are to tell their friends, so play nice guys. I know my language is bad and we know I don't care, lol, my thing is no matter how many pages I miss, I wanna know wtf is going on without having to ask someone and get bad information, so I take the time and read. Some of these noobs like gossip and rumors instead of truth so play nice with them, but roslin is right, supply and demand, were busting our asses here trying to get something out this week, so better start stock piling some while you can, the demo is gonna make you creme your pants.

Caution: We are not responsible if you fry your laptop gpu, =P

One thing I don't understand is why only one wallet address targeted out of 73 I scanned through? Is that mean this person was  attacker or he's just being used by the attacker?

My guess is someone tried to send coins they thought they had but actually didnt due to a redownload of the blockchain
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2.1] Coin2 | Pow/PoS | ChainOfConflict[FPS] The Future of Gaming is Now on: June 21, 2014, 11:51:45 PM
maybe they have not renamed the coin to 2.1.
it says maitence mode right now. so I will see what happens. Smiley

Yeah that is very likely, ive been trying to get busoni or tf2honeybadger to change it from NC2 to C2 for a few weeks now on poloniex

What's that mean when spot a coin2.1 C2chain state:
Double spend attempt detected from tx:
113567654dfhuhgdhh1334566&& (example)

Is that mean Coin2.1 under attack again?

It means exactly what it says, "Attempt" but ultimately failed. If you see Bittzy78 say thanks to him, its his hashrate that prevented this attempt.

Can't remember exactly when it was, I was already aware of it though, its unimportant since it was a failed attempt.

hey King, did c-cex get settled yet? they still have not switched to c2.1 yet. I got almost 5500 over there.  I almost forgot I had some there. lol

C-cex should have been ready by now...  they had the go ahead over 3 weeks ago

Is this a targeted attacked or Coin2.1 in general? Seems this wallet is staking. Anyway to shut it down for the person?

Its most likely some error, were in control of the PoW blockchain atm so no real way for them to attack like that unless they own the hardware, and I beleive no one would be ok if we had the power to shut a wallet down... that would be like saying your ok for a bank to have absolute power to just block you from your money.

Oh I searched c2 and c2.1 like on bter and mintpal and it didn't come up, instead of searching coin2. If that makes me daft....well sorry. Also sorry you are kind of mean.  Wink

there search is kinda bad there.  I had to click on my balance for some reason.

to get to it.  then I found out you have to spell it out.  Coin2 to find it.

dont take offense by kalisto's comments, he will take some getting used to, lol...

This^^^^ these are not just some random images Kalisto posted, they are screenshots from the game editor window, he uses this weird ass screenshot program and can show any part of his screen he wants. This is a fine example of how far the graphics have came along for chain of conflict.

Ok, new stats Cool

Don't miss your chance to mine and secure Coin2! Smiley

To Quote UdjinM6 and to address this question about the Mintpal BTC payment, everyone take notice of
this chart, and this Wallet address:

CWbPEgm3RUVQKkzEASuv17cn6yegtmiiNC 96599.34216270

Notice how this one seems to be collecting the most C2, it also has over 38.73 MH/s

Bittzy rented a mining rig to secure our network until block 30,000 when the PoW phase Ends.

Mintpal offered 3 BTC for our trouble and wont pay til PoW phase is done.

So since Bittzy has had to spend his own personal BTC to secure the network, the board agreed to compensate him for his efforts.

Does anyone object to this?

I wouldn't think there should be that many objections since so little of you have offered hashes to help. UdjinM6 even added block rewards to help entice people to mine and secure the PoW blocks and hardly anyone has helped but a handful.

Just gonna quote myself here since I answered this once before.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2.1] Coin2 | Pow/PoS | ChainOfConflict[FPS] The Future of Gaming is Now on: June 21, 2014, 09:25:11 AM

Guys i think there is a way more important problem then you might think. The actual price can kill this coin what ever kind of advertising happen after the game release and if you decide to keep ignoring the price thinking the game is going to do it all you are wrong.

This low price will keep on building heavy bag holders which will most likely kill this coin in the future.
Even blackcoin which had their bigger holders at 1M with a 75M coin cap and one of the best marketing team are hardly able to make it past 40k sat and this is mostly due to those heavy holders. One of them droped the price from 80k sat to 30k at some point  by selling 1M coin for a 500 BTC profit and the same could happen here if the actual price stays like this.

I see no point putting 100% of the work into the game and avoiding the actual market since the investors are the one owning these coins and i hardly see a gamer who will want to buy c2 at the price of 1$ some day and see it the day after drops to 0.05$ because some heavy holder has just been waiting to dump it all. What are you guys planning to prevent that? How can you keep a stable price for the gamers to really be able to profit from their gaming.

I dont see myself win 100 fps round in a row and still be at loss due to a heavily unstable market i hope you guys though about something like this because this is an important matter. A gamer who is willing to gamble has only 1 way of thinking which is:

He buys 20$ Worth of coins, he wins enough and double up so when he cashout if he does he expect to see 40$ at the payout point and not 0.04$ with twice as much coins as he started with.

Please explain us all about this matter and im not trying to bring fud into this i want you guys to explain how you expect to handle this to bring some more confidence into this matter.

Glad you asked, we have talked about it before but destroying a certain percentage of coins spent in game seems the best route to go, it brings back value to the coin and relieves some of the dilution that the last attack caused.

Also, we should have a beta ready in at least a month.. as I've said before game development takes time, its been almost 7 months since CoD:Ghosts came out, and now they are talking of releasing CoD:Advanced Warfare, the same with battlefield, their last came out in august last year and they are just now getting to beta testing. Let me tell you the new battlefield is gonna be awesome.. sorry i looked into it, gotta keep up with the competition, lol.  All that aside, we have been working on Chain of Conflict for 2 1/2 - 3 months now, we can push a beta out in the next month, it wont be as crappy as the last beta test we had but it will be a major improvement.
