Is it possible to swap without an exchange?

Btw. Thanks for your work Smiley
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: September 07, 2016, 02:21:29 PM
bought some espers from exchange, and about swap, its okays to let them in exchange or should send esp coin to the wallet.

Depends on what you prefer, the exchange will swap them for you automatically if you leave them there.
I 'm saving my esp in cryptonia What would you think

Saving on a exchange is never a good idea.

What is the problem with a local wallet?

Can anyone tell me, if there is another site to check overlapping plots?

https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap

Thanks

There is no longer a website but there are programs

http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/348/plotschecker

Blago's latest miner will also check them as it mines.

Thank you!

...and good to know, that Blagos´miner checks it also.

987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: August 19, 2016, 09:43:47 AM
2016 is looking more like the year of the billion plus coins, I find NEM's rise to $120 million very encouraging even though I don't own any  Cheesy. Assuming (and it is a big assumption) that NEM and BURST have equal features, a basic calculation would show that the equivalent price that BURST can theoretically achieve providing that the assumption is true which it isn't, is 0.120/1.5 = $0.08 or higher.

So I am changing my previous prediction for BURST to reach $0.01 from extremely optimistic to highly likely that it would get there  Grin

Only time would tell, but I am feeling very confident, the number of miners keeps on increasing on a daily basis and it is just a matter of time until we get there. The market has shown that it is not afraid of bidding high prices even for coins with a highish coin supply and I hope that BURST will take advantage of that.

I'm going to keep hammer this point:  "Miners (and I'm one of them) have re-invest their coins BACK into Burst and that mean purchasing Assets and Burst related products/services.  There is no reason to just hold the coins mined.  If we are mining it makes no sense to just let the coins sit there and do nothing.  That is not how the coins are going to RAPIDLY appreciate in value. That's like letting your money sit in a non-interest bearing account when you have the chance to do otherwise.

Thats true people must make use of the BURST assets , and the exchange

Yes I agree.

Investing in assets can make anyone a nice amount of money in the future. I look at it this way we can earn in 3 ways, no:1 we can earn from the monthly dividends no:2 the asset/s could increase in value which the burst teams assets have already done. no:3 the price of BURST can increase so in my opinion it's a no brainer to invest in assets.

I can see the price of BURST easily getting to 0.01 in the near future and for what they ave planned I would not be surprised to see the price at 0.05 or even higher. And then can you imagine what the price of the assets will be??? they could be worth 5x the value that they are now or even 10x anything can happen once people out there start to see what BURST has to offer. BURST has been around for a while now but you can say that it is just getting started lol

Would be nice if the price will raise. I like this coin and I am mining it for almost 20 months now.
Sold some BURST and everytime I bought them back for a higher price : )

But do you really think it will reach 0.01?

0.000001 or 0.000005 yes.

But 0.01 would be a little bit "too much" I think.

Of course I hope I 'm wrong.

Put your address into the search field then you will get it.

But also read whats written on the pool site:

Quote
As HOdl coins are locked for one year after mining there is no conventional way to withdraw the balance for miners. Instead, once the balance reaches at least 50 HOdls, it gets elligible for including in a mining block. The next block will always be mined to the address of the miner which has the highest elligible balance.

Note that you will still have to wait for a full year after the block gets mined to your address before you can move the HOdls off from that address because coins are locked after mining.

Note that in rare circumstances it can happend that a payout block becomes an orphan. As soon as this gets detected the balance for that miner will move from pending payout to elligible again.

I like Hodl, but maybe it is better to a have look into other coins too.

Just to see "some results" in your wallet.

If you are new; try minergate.com to get some more experience.

But mining and hodling some coins are not the worst idea ; )

Best way, I think, is to create a batch file.

Open notepad /editor and copy:

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://hodl.optiminer.pl:5555 -u HODLADDR -p x

then save it as: mining.bat (File -> Save As -> Save as type: All Files)

Not mining.bat.txt

This should work.

i clicked on solo mining on 1gb required on 3 days ago, no coins in my wallet, but wallet software using 90% of cpu.
is there any setting i have need?

Depends on your mining speed. How much H/s do you get?

70 hs

Thats not much. It might take a long time to find a block.

Maybe it is better to join the pool: http://hodl.optiminer.pl/

But 90% of cpu useage and showing up 70 H/s you are definitely mining Smiley

Good luck!

can u suggest me step by step bro, how do i do it?
i hace cpu miner but dont know how to do it

Sure.

Just download the miner posted here: http://hodl.optiminer.pl/

Windows binary: https://github.com/madzebra/hodlminer-binary/raw/master/hodlminer.exe

An then start the miner with the command also shown on the site:

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://hodl.optiminer.pl:5555 -u HODLADDR -p x

You can test with -t how may threads give you the best results.

Okay, so as I said, let's introduce my assets ideas :

#1st asset : sports betting

I'll basically convert my sports betting activities in a kind of company. Each win will be redistributed proportionally to the shares.

-PLUS : If I lose nothing bad for the investors, no minimum starting capital
-CONS : No ROI guaranteed

#2nd asset : mining

With funds gathered, I'll buy a GPU that will join my little team. Weekly or monthly, this as to be debated, I'll convert the mining earnings of the little business into BURST and pay it to shareholders.

-PLUS : Very high paying asset as long as the starting capital is good, guaranteed payment since in the worst I still have four high end GPUs as a backup, ROI within less than 3 or 4 months that I'll guarantee with some money put into escrow that will be released to shareholders in case I'm not on time with ROI
-CONS : High funds need to be gathered at the beggining

Guys tell me what sounds best Smiley !

As far as I know you can not mine this coin with GPU...

Erkallys worte, he (she?) will convert the GPU mining earnings.

So maybe ETH or some coins will flow into the asset.

Naja, ganz von der Hand zu weisen ist das ja nicht.
Einen Revolver sollte man handhaben können (vielleicht ist die Wallet gemeint) und die Patronen ebenso.

Vielleicht auch einfach nur falsch interpetiert.
