It might make a chaos if all users decided to withdraw their money from bank and that bank use fractional-banking system  There's no problem if they don't get interest, but to take their money is too much. It can be categorized as stealing. i'm not even holding anything in the bank, all in bitcoin, minus some dumping here and there to buy stuff that you can not find with bitcoin yet they can go bankrupt for all i care, more bank going down, more possibility for bitcoin to shine It is good that you are almost all in bitcoin. I would like to, but I am not so brave. Only small proportion of my wealth is in bitcoin. That was the way with me too. But with bitcoin appreciating in price and my bitcoin stack slowly going up, it has become a sizable contributor of my wealth. |

Mike Maloney on Youtube has made the point that the price of physical gold and silver is kept low intentionally by the government and traders using leverage on their investments. Is this the case with the current gold and silver market, or is this just bull?
The entire modern world system is based on suppressing the price of gold and silver. Under the centuries of gold and silver standards, the central banks sold gold and silver freely at a fixed paper currency price, so the precious metals always earned an interest of 0%. Since 1971, *supposedly*, we are on totally fiat money. But think, how could the elites possibly allow a free market for gold and silver when they couldn't have it for over 350 years before that? So, suppression simply went underground, and any devaluation of currency against gold (when the elites could no longer help it) is done on a rolling basis and less embarrassing to the elites. Countries will be happy to devalue their currencies, so that their exports become more compeititive. All this competitive quantitative easing and negative interest rates indicate that. |

There are several investment plans provided by the banking sector. User can try with that, but to get doubled at least a minimum of 5 years is needed.
5 years is too less a time, if you want to limit the amount of risk you are taking. My advice to the OP is to park his money in investment grade bonds and forget about doubling the money. |

the price at the time this thread is created was around $245 and till now people advice others to buy and hold. you should have done that when the price was below $250 back then. right now is just an okay moment to buy for medium term holders. and good for long term holders. but people always tend to wait too long with buying, and it shows. if you bought when this thread is created you would have around $200 profit per coin right now!
The problem is the volatility. The price can drop sharply at any moment. However, I don't think we will be reaching $250 soon. For every person who regrets not buying at $200, there are more who regret buying at $600. |

Loans are risky if you don't have something to collateral particular accounts here in forum. Better to avoid loans or if you want to loan. Loan what you can afford to pay.
Yes, I do not like to get loans here unless my loan is equal to what I payback and there is no interest and also loaner is trusted. Why should the 'loaner' be trusted, unless you place some collateral with him. Even in that case, escrows can be easily found. So you should be comfortable even taking loans from newbies. |

Actually my thinking is telling me bitcoins price is increase more because of halving, it is coming and it is profitable way, mostly people use the halving and in that reason people want more bitcoins and they are buying now and it is behind the reason bitcoin's price will be increased.
It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. More people buy bitcoins because they think the price will increase. Because of people buying, the price increases. This results in more people getting convinced about the potential. |

Another problem with Bitcoin is that is is really too rare to replace the dollar. With a little less than 15.5 million BTC and a little over 7.1 billion people, that only leaves an average of about .0022 per person. There would be a lot of micro transactions having to be processed by the BTC network. The BTC network is already bogged down. Can you imagine the problems the network would have if it's traffic increased like a million fold? It would probably take weeks to get the 1st confirmation, if someone bought something small, like a candy bar.
Also, there would eventually be a lot of microinputs that would have sizes so large, they may never get processed.
I am fully agree with you and also if bitcoin will replace dollar what will change? The name of currency or what? Goverment will make some stuff with bitcoin and everything will become like in past times. Even I but. Dollar is very popular currency I mean it is widely used and everyone knows about it and used it it somehow, when Biticoin replace it I think it is possible through time, maybe decades from now we'll use biticoin instead of the dollar. The dollar is widely used, but the reason why it is the dominant currency is because it has the faith of multiple governments and trade is conducted in it. Bitcoin still has some distance to go before governments start trusting it. |

I am surprised. I would have thought Kolkatta would have been favourites in this one. Plus Hyderabad have a lot of injury worries. It might make sense to make a slightly large bet on Kolkatta in this one. |
