981  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you are waiting for the "despair phase" to buy like in 2011 consider this on: January 19, 2015, 08:28:19 AM
I still se a lot of bitcoiners still say "but... but... bitcoin crashed from $32 to $2 in 2011 and then recovered! don't worry folks everything's just fine! History will repeat itself and the cycle will go on forever and ever  Cool"

Looks like my thread didn't do any good for those poor souls  Undecided
Can't help them, can't educate them  Undecided

Still waiting for inca's arguments.

Bitcoiners, look what you have done. These guys work hard and they are getting screwed because of you.

I own some Bitcoin ATM's and I can tell you my transactions are up 500% today.   Just wait until all those people get their bank accounts verified on Coinbase next week.

Have your transactions ever gone up 500% before?

Nope.  I have only had them in place for about a month.  It has been steady except for yesterday where I did my average weekly sales in one day.

But but but the trolls say bitcoin is doomed.
So you are relying on the word of a stranger on the internet who is apparently observing an increase in people using a bitcoin ATM as an indicator whatsoever of bitcoin's future success?

987  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is actually good news for Bitcoin on: January 17, 2015, 03:30:09 PM
Waiting for inca's ACTUAL ARGUMENTS against any of the points I raised:

A lot of you are short it seems.

Expecting someone else to push the price lower?
"Traders who wanted to sell already sold"

Do you even know how markets work?

And d00d please stop calling bottoms, you have been saying "bears return to your caves" since $800 for fuck's sake, why should anybody listen to you? lmao

Number of shorts and longs open on bitfinex is not a reliable indicator, not in the way you are using it anyway.
A lot of people are short (still more longs tho) simply because any trader that is not a clueless permabull can see that this thing is about to go down  Undecided

Shorters have been right for months, you have been wrong all the time  Undecided
989  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is actually good news for Bitcoin on: January 17, 2015, 03:07:18 PM
Is this thread really lambchop posting then replying to himself from multiple troll alt accounts? lol..

ps. Look up hyperinflation in the dictionary.
Do you have ACTUAL ARGUMENTS to contribute to this discussion or just empty remarks about what word should we use to describe a concept that you perfectly understood?

I would like to hear them.

Because whenever someone brings up concrete arguments that contradict your views all you do is label that as "FUD" or "well worn crap". Never seen actual arguments from you ever on these topics.

We are still early adopters.

991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last chance for the cheap 3-digit coins on: January 17, 2015, 12:52:42 PM
After a year, it's clear that traders shorting have been slaughtered while brave investors who held coins bought in the 4 digit range are reaping the amazing rewards.

Good prediction OP!

Famous chinese whale investors Wei To Lo and Sum Ting Wong are disappointed with currents prices.
994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 17, 2015, 10:08:09 AM
there is no such thing as bitcoin adoption, just geeks and traders selling their ponzi mascot to the naive crowd.

Normal people, who have other problems in life than worrying about the value of their money or their hard-drive crashing each day, will always use something stable and trusted as a currency, thus they don't give a single f*ck.

The only mother that you'll ever see in bitcoin land is the mother of bulltrap and she'll spank you hard for using your pocket money in some magic internet beans.
I fucking lol'd hard  Grin
Well done Sir.
995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 17, 2015, 08:36:36 AM
Bulls, do not go on any further.

996  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is actually good news for Bitcoin on: January 17, 2015, 08:26:08 AM
Overly pessimistic  Roll Eyes
You don't think the points I raised are valid?
997  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5k before year end 2015 on: January 17, 2015, 08:02:43 AM
If I think that BTC price is gonna be a lot lower by the end of 2015, what's the point of making a bet in BTC if that will be worth a lot less in the end if I win anyway?

Im pimping my bet. Isn't it obvious?

Bitcoin is gamble, but gambling sites are worse.
They profit (1%) from retards. Great business. Lots of morons in the bitcoin community.

Gambling sites like bitstamp, Huobi, BTC-e, OKCOIN etc? Wink

edit: how could I forget bitfinex!!!? the leveraged one!

There's a  small part of me that wishes bitfinex was a rogue  exchange that instead of running away with bitcoins would run away with cash from short sale gains.

Haha, that would be a huge irony!

Re your earlier comment re troll idiots. Agree, the proliferation of new accounts and increasing rate of postings is a useful indicator.

It's a hella useful indicator. At every botto,  they show up in droves. Just check their conten,  look up the account date and you get a good feel for what's going on. It's the proverbial  "shoot yourself in the foot".
To be honest I have the impression that the only ones posting ACTUAL ARGUMENTS are what you call the "bear trolls", while permabulls just never respond to the concerns and points raised.
Oh, and forgot to say that they are always wrong about what the price is doing, while the "trolls" are right almost all the time.

But sure, "trolls".

Ehm, Huobi, OKcoin and BTC-E have leveraged margin trading too by the way.

When guys who were around in 2010 start to leave...

the bottom is near.

My exact thoughts. I remember I had a scared moment in December of 2011. Glad I didn't leave.

"Be greedy when others are fearful."
Looks like you two missed what OP said: "nothing goes up indefinitely".

The strategy of buying the despairs and buying when everyone is bearish works until it doesn't.
999  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is actually good news for Bitcoin on: January 17, 2015, 06:54:17 AM
Didn't read the whole novel OP but your name makes me not take you seriously.
Judge by actual arguments and not by nicknames or appearances.
Works for everything in life.
