...
I wanted to make more points by wagering, but I ended up losing my 60 euros.
...

I guess this sentence explains everything, it happens to all of us. For more points for wagering wars or in StarBets casino for more Stars doesn't really matter. It usually happens when we are doing really well and we want just a little more... just a little more. There is that saying "It takes a little to be happy" (one woman said...)! Smiley

Jokes on the side, nobody likes to lose, but I believe you enjoyed the process! I don't participate in wars anymore, I don't have that free time I used to have, I had to play longer with small amounts just to be able to compete with guys who play less with very big amounts. There is excitement for sure... playing like crazy, going up and down all the time... every few minutes there is some all-in or risky play that can bust the entire balance just like that.

In the end... I wish you more luck next time. Something I say to myself every time I lose. Smiley

Share your opinion and what are your tips or tricks on this topic

Well, some time ago we had an interesting discussion in the Gosu group... What is the quickest way to wager +1m to get some higher VIP level at Stake, and some minimum amount to start wagering? As I remember we agreed that one shouldn't even start without $10k, and with a lot of luck that can be enough... When it comes to choice of games the in-house games are probably better for wagering.

I don't wager for competitions and all sorts of wagering wars anymore... because the tips and tricks for wagering a lot are to gamble like crazy, and to have the courage to push with all-ins at some moments. That kind of extreme gambling often leads to busting the balance, but it has some good moments and crazy wins as well. In the end, more money can make wagering a bit safer and easier... with less money we need to risk more and that makes wagering a lot harder.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogefuck blockchain - Yes or No on: August 09, 2023, 09:38:03 AM
Creating description with chatgpt sounds like you are not even serious with this scam.
Homepage is a 100% wallet stealer.

DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING ON THE WEB PAGE! THIS IS A LOW EFFORT SCAM!

Sadly that's not enough reason to kick you from this forum, but i'll make sure newbs know you are a scammer.

Well, there is no need to even go to the site, the name of this coin/token/whatever it is alone tells what will happen with it in the near future. Dogefuck can just fuckover someone... for more or less money. So people should avoid opening the site and clicking anything there.

Some scams as so stupid and obvious, I am not sure who can fall on this stuff.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 09, 2023, 08:24:18 AM
I simply can't find the connection between the headline and OP's thread... Reckless gambling is when we start pushing like there's a big win waiting for us just around the corner, and yes sometimes it starts after winning x2/x3/x4/x5 of the deposit we made, and instead of withdrawing we start playing like crazy until we bust all the winnings and deposit. Happened to me a lot of times over the years... So I like the headline, it describes a certain situation that happens a lot of times in gambling.

But the thread about the addiction is a bit silly... Some people get hooked sooner and some later, people are different. I guess it's not important if someone is addicted and when it started... we are all addicts in some way or ways, it's important that we have some control and know how much we can relax with gambling and all other fun stuff.
985  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 08, 2023, 01:29:16 PM
...
Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.

Sometimes it's better to keep some things secret... Maybe some are not proud of what they are doing, sometimes because what we are doing is illegal in the place we live or not acceptable by the majority, and sometimes it's just easier to do things in quiet and peace... why somebody needs to know my passions?

But when it comes to life partners there shouldn't be secrets. For sure we keep many things just for us when it comes to friends and family, religion, and government laws, but I am totally open with my wife and I think there is no healthy marriage if both are not fully open to each other.
986  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: August 08, 2023, 10:41:35 AM
Inflation is really biting hard, and nobody is doing anything about it, should we all just go with what Tupac said, "that's just the way it is, things will never be the same"...

I also think that things will never be the same... Maybe we see some corrections here and there, but some high prices are here to stay. And probably the food is breaking all records, simply too much money is going into food.

Well, the guys who can do something about it are sitting in their chairs trying to earn even more, and I think we can say it's going great for them! Smiley
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 08, 2023, 08:10:34 AM
As long as you trust the collector about your bet then why not?

Well, trust would be a big issue... 20-30 people is not a group of friends, it's a bunch of unknown people. Adding the money factor here would make a total mess I think. I wouldn't say I like this kind of collective bet...

It's different when we bet with close friends, but even that can bring troubles. Some people can show other  (true) "faces" when money is lost or won. Been there, and experienced that... it's better to bet on my own, for my mental health. Maybe I have lower chances, but I also have peace in my mind.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin launch with ORB to scan your eyes on: August 07, 2023, 02:35:35 PM
By default, no personal data is collected. The iris scan is immediately deleted once the iris code is generated.

If the iris scan is immediately deleted can someone claim a few codes? Asking for a friend. Smiley

Well, for sure there's a lot of abuse in the crypto space when it comes to claiming "free coins". And new ways to combat it are constantly emerging... but this is definitely one of the craziest ways I ever saw.

I don't think that's good at all. 94% of the supply is held by 20 people. What can possibly go wrong?

What can possibly go wrong... I think you said it all.
989  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 07, 2023, 12:25:54 PM
And that's exactly why I made that comment on Juggy's post. He claims that he doesn't wager much and yet he gets "a few tickets" from spinning WoF, and here I am collecting for over a year and I only will expect 3 GTs on average lol

Something didn't quite add up over there Wink

Maybe he was just very lucky! Smiley

I am at 11 GTs already, I can't say I wager much, it's just from daily playing... I was level 4, but I returned to level 1 and 12.5k FUN tokens. With FUNs from staking and buying here and there I am close to 15k already. I know it will take time before reaching level 2,3,4... I don't mind that, I just hope I can do it without more deposits, just daily playing/buying and staking.
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 07:00:03 AM
It is not true that land-based casinos don't have online versions. In Spain it is very famous the Gran Madrid Casino which has not only several buildings in the capital city but also online gambling (mobile, desktop and even television, at dawn, in one of the main tv channels in the country).

I guess that for many legacy casinos whose business is still profitable it is simply much trouble to open different channels, but I think that there is no doubt that future generations will demand more and more online services.

I think that in Serbia all land-based casinos have their online versions... but I am not totally sure about that, it's what I am picking from all the commercials around, I gamble only with crypto.

I agree with you that there will be more demand for online services in the future, but some legacy casinos will keep their doors open for people who like to visit land-based casinos, and there will always be people who prefer that over online gambling.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 06:19:05 PM
Gambling is important to the society because it provides huge taxes that government use on hospitals, infrastructure and other projects to help its citizens. ...
What is the benefits of gambling to your society?

Gambling is not important to society, it's just vice like any other vice. It's good for some people who can control it, and maybe even make some profit here and there, but for some people, it's the worst nightmare. When vices are taxed (drugs, prostitution, gambling...) there is some control and everything is taxed, if not there is a black market... as long as there is demand there will be supply, simply said.

We gamble for ourselves because we enjoy it and we wish to win big. It's selfish in some way, the money we spend on gambling can be used for much better things, but... we will share when we win big! Right? Smiley So there are no benefits of gambling to society, there's just you and your bankroll... if you win good for you and your closest ones, if not you and your closest ones are in trouble and the house is in profit. So don't go too deep... any vice can eat you if you are not careful.

992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: August 06, 2023, 02:27:49 PM
Note a fan of meme coins at all ,Don't think they have any good use case they are just about pump and dumb. The ones that buy them early before others usually make good profits  and  the ones that buy them at high price usually ends up loosing money so in general they are very risky one need to be very careful investing in them to avoid loosing money.

Well, over time I started liking Doge for example... everything you said is true for most meme coins, but I think that some of them are here to stay like Doge. And we will probably see them going up and down in the future. I simply can't forget how Doge exploded because one rich/powerful man decided to push it a bit. I think it will happen again, maybe "the man" and "meme coin" will not be the same, but we saw it's possible and how things develop in such cases.
993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some poker terminologies you may want to know on: August 06, 2023, 05:59:46 AM
...
I thought i know enough about poker and i knew like only 14 of those, so thanks i guess. But is a fist bump really a poker term? Or related to poker at all? I never seen people do that in live games that i participated in before pandemia. Or maybe i didn't pay enough attention as i sometimes do that in other occasions.

But few of those are handy to know and i feed odd that i've never paid any attention to those words. It's like i never heard anyone said them. Are those really all used often?

Hand, pot, ante, and small/big blinds are real poker terminologies, but the rest are just phrases/slang from the US. I never heard for most of them as well...

Quote
Dolly Paton - Nickname for any starting hand combo containing a 9 and a 5, the name originates from the famous song “9 to 5” performed by Dolly Parton. You might also hear it being called a “full-time job”.

I don't know who is Dolly Paton, and even less I know about her famous song "9 to 5".

I believe that every poker community has its own unique terms for many "poker situations" we get in while playing regularly. With good company, new terms can be easily created, and if there's a good laugh after it will be adopted most likely.
994  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 05, 2023, 02:42:30 PM
The products which were bought at the same price in the last four-five years now have to be bought at two to three times more...

And how was it bought? How many? Has the price gone up or down? What are you really talking about here? Where did you get the money for buying? And probably zillion other questions...

We can't think about the investment target in general... we are all in totally different life situations, with different needs and wishes, and to not even speak about our characters. So before thinking about investment targets and possible risks try to be aware of your situation and your possibilities... people should avoid going in over their heads.

995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 10:07:21 AM
...
Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

Am i wrong to think that this information on the internet needs to be updated.

Well, the crypto gambling space is a wild west as someone said a long time ago. Many people would like to see crypto gambling more regulated, but with that, we can expect more rules.

There's still anonymity in crypto casinos, at least for all of us who gamble small amounts... but I doubt that we can see some general update that will cover all crypto casinos. I don't like to read ToS and I rarely do it, except when I have some issues, but before registering in some casino I am already aware of their basic rules... doesn't matter if I saw that info here on the forum in their ANN thread or from the BTCGosu review page. With that said people should check for some basics, if they didn't already, before registering in any crypto casino.

I can say the same for RPs and lottery tickets but I know for sure 100% of my tickets in Lambo draw where they come from (wager on multiply btc lol). I take my wagering very seriously hehe

The only way you can get them if you don't wager is if you win WoF, unless you bet on sports or Bitcoin price maybe? Those bets also count Smiley

Same here, who will count RP's and lottery tickets, but my GTs came from wagering, I didn't win a Golden ticket from free WoF for a while.

I guess we still have a lot of time for getting a few more tickets. Smiley
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTIONS FROM LITECOIN HALVING on: August 05, 2023, 07:19:26 AM
Nothing happened after block halving. The price of litecoin keeps slumped. https://watcher.guru/news/litecoin-halving-countdown-ltc-sees-last-minute-slump-in-value

As you can see that through weekly chart if the hype for the halving already gone. The price of litecoin be be going down even deeper than before the halving happened. It's time for people to leave from this coin and move to the a better coin.
People expected a big pump from litecoin halving but it's not even happening right now.

Litecoin halving will never give impact to the market.

Well, nothing will happen before Bitcoin halving, like many times before... history repeats itself, or at least most of us believe it will repeat itself once again. I don't expect to see any significant changes in the near future. I guess we need to be patient for now, only after Bitcoin halving we will see some big changes when the crypto market enters a bullish period, and Litecoin will probably follow that uptrend.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 06:56:22 PM
If you wish to win you need to have a ticket... Except for freebitcoin Daily and lambo lottery, I am not playing other lotteries. So I can't hope for some big lottery win, but it would be amazing if I hit max payout with some higher bet on some slot. But that happens so rarely.

All of us who gamble dream about some crazy big win, but... but... we need to be real here. Big wins happen, but not so often, and for sure not for every one of us.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 04, 2023, 04:35:22 PM
...
All I know from real slot play is brutal. Slot games are very greedy for money, they suck up bankrolls very quickly

Slots can be really brutal... and yes, any bankroll can be wiped out pretty quickly, especially if we like to buy bonus features, but there are shiny moments as well. All in all, when I plan to play slots I know that my chances are pretty slim, but I like to "test my luck" playing different slots, and I can't imagine spinning some slot in demo mode. When I don't have "monies for slots" I will play/do something else.

1000  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 03, 2023, 07:32:53 PM
I would advise scammers to think twice before wasting time forging fake proofs for our bonus! We are prepared.

Well, you told them! That's for sure! Smiley

If you take some notes I would like to see some stats in the end, how many people step forward, and how many of them got "approved for bonus".

It's a funny thing, but I still don't see many complaints about the Betnomi exit scam... like they had just a few players with some balance there (and that is a bit in question).
