981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's future (and BTC in Kuwait!) on: May 17, 2021, 04:06:12 PM
Recently I noticed some huge interests in Kuwait regarding Cryptocurrencies. People are buying Bit/Alt coins as a store of value and for profits (as opposed to its original purpose, serving it as a currency.)

Now there are few things that I can't comprehend. The Kuwaiti Dinar is the top currency in the world, and bitcoin was created to replace fiat. My question is: How will BTC price increase in value if people are buying it as a store of value (as opposed to using it on regular transactions?) And why are Kuwaiti's buying BTC when our currency is the top in the world? It just makes no sense to me  Huh
That your country's currency has more value than every other currency in the world doesn't mean your countrymen shouldn't invest money in assets or stocks. Investment is a normal thing that you should be doing if you want to increase your wealth. When they invest their money in Bitcoin the price goes up and by the time they will be withdrawing it they will have more than what they have invested.

Bitcoin is a huge investment at this time and I don't think this is an investment that anyone would like to miss, especially now that the whole market has been bullish. And just look at all these coins that have been bullish as of lately and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon, so it's best to go for it now and not miss out.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 16, 2021, 07:48:03 PM
I think Toto Wolff could just complain straight to the FIA and get them to look at it..  Like how they usually do it.
About the wing rule, I agree that Toto could be basically de-facto boss of FIA at this point;

He is in charge of the best team and if he gets out and says something bad about FIA that would not be bad for Toto, it would be bad for FIA and that is why they are scared to upset him.

A little over 50k!
How much did you spent for that 50k+ tokens? I mean $10 per day is not a bad thing, considering that is $300 per month, that is a very good side income for most people in anywhere in the world, even a full on salary for some of the poorer nations as well, it is nearly as much as the minimum wage where I am from.

I know that 50k+ must have cost you a lot of money, that is why I wanted to ask that, people who would love to have $10 per day from the income would probably not have anything that remotely close to that token amount from gambling, it would probably take a lot more than what we can afford. Gambling with BFG could be the solution for something like this but I would be afraid, after all that one still has house edge which means if I keep gambling on that one I would lose all the BFG that I earned so far as well and I wouldn't want that neither.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 06:52:53 PM
^^ Honestly it is not easy for Liverpool neither. They have a game on 16th a game on 19th and a game on 23th which could be accepted since there are times when you have league+fa cup+champions league, usually not on the same week but I am sure even that happened sometimes.

Three games in 6 days is not impossible to imagine, it totally is understandable but it is still quite hectic and normally I would say it is acceptable because teams do not play all their players on a selected game, like let's say if you have fa cup game between league games you may pick one of the league games and put in bench players mostly, but here liverpool needs all three games. I think it is going to be a fun and entertaining last period of the league, it will definitely be something I would love to watch, as a non-English person this is just purely fun no matter who wins.
985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: May 15, 2021, 01:00:07 PM
I have been using scalping, it is wort to apply on crypto daily trading. But you must know when to use it and what crypto coin better to choose. I noted not all crypto coins can use scalping, some crypto coins are not effective to trade with the scalping method. I usually buy an altcoin with high volatility and move the price fast daily.
That's right and usually for scalping the best possible coins are those which are at least among top 100 in the CMC. With low-ranked coins you are always at the risk of losing everything. For example someone might apply scalping on shiba token which recently gained a lot of growth but it is risky because such tokens are meme and might become dust any moment.

Scalping or low margin trading is easier when you do it with dominant pairs like BTC-USDT. Recently when Elon musk made a tweet that Tesla will no longer support crypto payments for their cars, you can use such an opportunity and sell the BTC at market price because such news will temporarily bring the price of bitcoins down for sure.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 13, 2021, 08:31:06 PM
Today Ethereum is down is less dan 4k$, I think if I have Ethereum now and the price go down like this, I will hodl and wait for rise of ETH again then I will sell it. Hopefully Etheruem will rise again this week.
You see every coin dropped so it was not Ethereum alone and actually when I last saw, TRX dropped from 0.145 to 0.11 or something like that. Just hold strong in these times because once we panic the whales take advantage of it.

Do you know how it works? They will short a particular coin and make people panic, you sell and the market drops even further and that's how they earn!
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 13, 2021, 07:48:27 PM
Wow, some really excellent read and I want to add a few more things about how matches are rigged and could be rigged in my opinion.

There are countless fantasy sites and while some of them allow you to modify the team after the toss most of them will not allow you to make any changes to your picked players about 30 mins before the match. ( at toss we get to know the players playing today )

So basically some teams will drop some key players and include some new faces, this information is given to the bettors prior and they can pick those players who anyone would not even dream of picking.

Non-cricket followers can imagine as if you know LeBron James won't play tonight and you have some inside information. These things are happening countless times in small leagues and fantasy cricket is rigged as hell.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 10 casino sites on: May 13, 2021, 07:14:34 PM
Could there be any objections to this or is there any site you fell isn't fit enough to belong to this listing?
Anyone is free to make their list but speaking candidly I don't even know a single one of the mentioned sites by you, with all due respect to any trusted casinos I might have missed.

For me, the best casino in terms of bonus, support and transaction speed is right now stake.com and I am not promoting them but just sharing my experience with the site for years now. They have one of the best support staff and so many giveaways going on that you always feel like you have something to do although things like 100k lotteries are tailor-made for high rollers but still we have a mathematical chance.

I would like to know on what grounds and qualities you made that list. Maybe I can switch if anyone of them actually beats stake or other casinos I use like wolfbet.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multi-coin wallets? on: May 13, 2021, 06:39:12 PM
With the hardware wallets, if you lose the usb wallet, then you are screwed, right?
I think they can be recovered if you have the secret key that is provided to you in the beginning when you make a new wallet but problem with hardware wallets is like I said, it is not suited well for small transactions.

I haven't mined coins so I am not sure and will be watching this thread closely just for my knowledge purposes.
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 12, 2021, 09:33:02 PM
@perfect999 even when you wager on the favourites you need luck on your side, because there’s always an chance that there’s an upset waiting to take place, hence in this case the user really got extremely lucky.
The odds are what you should look at and not the amount of games. If you have 1 game with 50.00 odds (which is quite rare tbf) that one game win is much more difficult than what you have here. I know that some people believe "one super underdog of 4th division beating champions of premier league is more likely than 15 games under 1.4" and that is common thinking, but that is how sportsbooks make money.

If you have some FA cup game of United playing non-league somehow, that non-league team will have higher odds than ALL these games combined, these games are all favorites and it wouldn't be a shock if they managed to win them all which they did and this is why it is not a shock to me. I would look at odds whenever I see these type of situations and that is why I wanted to say that this wasn't really something that rare, 44 odds of course is very rare, but that is the part that is rare and not the amount of games, it could have been one game with 44 odds and that would have been same thing to me.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Internet Computer (ICP) - what's that? on: May 12, 2021, 08:19:08 PM
This is the worse situation when it bullish market, coins with no genuine use case, potentials and utility will make a ridiculous surge in price the next thing you'll see is hype follower investors buying the coin for some quick profit whereas the bubble will burst sooner or later.
I check CMC today either, I also saw the coin and I was amazed by some new coins that claimed the top #100 slot on CMC
Yeah, right now just any coin can surge among the ranks at coinmarketcap and recently I also see shiba inu token making waves all around the market but when I joined their telegram and tried to understand what this token actually does because their website just thinks it is a dogecoin killer, I got some horrible replies with everyone promising shiba to the moon while none having the requisite knowledge of how to answer a question and even deleted a few posts which asked questions and raised concerns.

Finally I was able to understand that it is another decentralized swap like uniswap, at least that's what it does from my understanding of it. Now we are seeing new coins like OP said ICP and there are going to be new coins almost every now and when on the top of the list at CMC because someone is manipulating the whole market it seems.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 12, 2021, 07:25:51 PM
Many gamblers think martingale strategy is the fastest way to recover the losses by doubling your stake but its not really the case.

Doubling your stake can also means of more losses if you're not lucky enough to win. Its a risky strategy with no assurance, thus its not advisable if you lose and looking for effective strategy. Unless if you're prepared for possible further losses and has a money to use for this strategy.
The real trouble with doubling your bet each time is that your losses are growing exponentially and a starting bet of 1 satoshi, having 10 losses in a row can bring you down by 1000 satoshi and imagine the number if you start with 1k satoshi itself.

So your wins are small as you reset every time on win, basically, you are going to win 1 satoshi each time at best and if you lose, you are going to lose big because each time you lose, you are doubling your money.

I have applied martingale multiple times and multiple variant of it by betting on 90% and increasing the bet by 10x or betting at 66.66% and tripling my bet but honestly nothing works because again wins are small but losses grow exponentially.
993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: May 12, 2021, 06:12:19 PM
its a common thing on investor dialy life , Fomo today Fud tomorrow, i just wonder , why u should care about other people's investment ? , i mean just let them invested to any they want , as long as there is jealousy and envy, we will never to be rich
Frustration is good in some ways though because it enables us to improve slowly. I was into the hype train of dogecoin as Elon musk was pumping it and even holding events for it. I used futures to trade dogecoins and purchased a big amount of them recently only to see the market crash the next day despite all the events Elon did.

I promised myself never to trade again based on what others are saying and especially not following a single person because he might be the one who is playing with the market himself, we never know. I suggest everyone to avoid signals and such things and just go for simple trading where you buy potential coins and sell them for a better price, that is the best possible way to earn with trading right now.
994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 12, 2021, 04:52:24 PM
alot of people really want to hold but the daily needs of life make them sell off at little profit and solve their needs which is really good. but later they notice the coin they sold cheap is worth enough to liberate them. this kind of occurences are painful but its really not his fault. this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.
Look to answer this question, one needs to understand how much they have frozen cash and how much funds they have liquid which needs to be flowing and cannot be frozen.

If you have any frozen funds, you can invest them into any crypto arguably bitcoin and forget about them for years.

The liquid funds you can use for trading, which means you can buy any asset or coin at a cheap price and then sell it at a pre-determined price without the regret of price jumping high.

Just set your priorities and decide how you want to approach trading, it is really easy once you allocate the right amount of funds towards the right coin.
995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs Investing (The major differences) on: May 12, 2021, 05:22:31 AM
day trading does have a greater risk than investing. but with day trading, we can also make big profits in a relatively short time.
Big profits but in short time will always have huge risks. People who are able to wait and look for consistent profits are going for investments rather than struggling with any kind of trading. From all these, we can easily conclude that both trading and investing are same in some sense but how you want profits and how you approach your risks to split it out or how to eliminate it are the few things which differentiate one from another. Day trading is something I completely hate; I prefer only investments which can be both short term and long term.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Money flowing out of BTC into Altcoins on: May 11, 2021, 09:36:10 PM
When the shitcoin season ends all money will flow back into BTC, where they belong. Don't be tempted by fast huge gains because the risks are very high.

HODL because this year your gains in BTC will be huge! Hitting the $100K and beyond, the BTC holders are the smartest, to the Moon!

By buying altcoins with BTC, you can increase the amount of bitcoin in your wallet. I believe that I have very successfully exchanged my BTC for ETH, and now if I sell ethereum, I will get almost 3 times more BTC than it was before. But it is still too early to do this, while the altcoin season continues.
Honestly that is the reason why people are moving to altcoins and selling their bitcoins as well, most people at least. The reality is that bitcoin will not go 10x again, that is not possible from here, that would be over half a million dollars per bitcoin and let's be honest we are not going to reach that anytime soon, I am not saying that bitcoin won't go up, who knows maybe it will be 100k, or even 200k, that would be super high increase, but we all know that during the same period there are altcoins that could increase 10x even higher so that is why people prefer that instead.

It is going to take some time for people to realize the steadier big increase is always in bitcoin and altcoins go up and down a lot more volatile and it is risky, but since we are in a bull market everyone prefers that super high quick profit over what bitcoin can provide.

In the way he is putting it, I don't think he cares much about selling, although he bought the FUN tokens to see the benefits within the platform, I think the player does not care if it goes up or down, rather I look what he is looking for something else in your investment, freebitco.in is one of the platforms that has been in the world of cryptocurrencies the longest, and if there is something we have seen it is the continuous growth of the platform, it has been so prosperous that they are already going through the sports betting, and if this continues, it cannot be ruled out that in the near future they will put some mining of Fun tokens and they can be converted to BTC within the platform, it would be something that would attract a lot of attention, of course I am speculating about this, but it would be something spectacular if it happened, especially to reward those who have always believed in the site.
At the end of the day we are talking about freebitcoin and everyone trusts them too much, yet when it comes down to Fun tokens it wasn't something they created, it was something that they overtook and I believe that could be the reason people are skeptical about it. Not saying that I would really be disappointed if it fails because it was a good test and they might be just trying something out but I wouldn't be shocked if they succeed neither.

So long story short there is this cloud of doubt over it but it is not really that shocking neither so I am not going to be bothered by trying to guess what is going to happen, all I will do is just let it be and see what is going to happen. I keep buying because I can profit from my investment and get higher interest rate anyway, but that is about all the thought I will put into this because rest is just useless for my preference.
998  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 11, 2021, 08:10:04 PM
Nice little winner from one of our Japanese customers..
He predicted the results(Double Chance) of 13 matches correctly in a row which is spectacular in my opinion. I scored a 10 match accumulator win which I placed recently though the overall odds were lower in comparison.

I love seeing these big accumulator wins when compared to single bet wins. I like how Sportsbet regularly post these big accumulator wins which other sportsbooks do less often based on what I observed.
I guess when you look at his games you will see that there are not that many high odds. There is one with 1.69 and I think that seems to be the biggest one. There is as low as 1.15 one as well and that seems like the reason why he won, he only wagered on the favorites. When you look at the total results, with the extra 3 games it would be normal if he won more than you at the end of the day if you wagered on a bit of higher odd games, maybe even one game that was 2.00 that would have put you over him easily, he wasn't really wagering on anything risky so his odds is not as high as it could be on a 13 game bet because of how low it is and that is why this means you have probably wagered at least as low as him or maybe even lower.

I personally had bigger returns (that I lost) with just 3-4 games because they were 1x2 games where I said one team will win first half and other team will win the game, with 3-4 games like that you end up with a huge result.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: May 11, 2021, 06:54:36 PM
Indeed, almost all altcoins rose in April and May, and this reminds me of the events at the end of 2017, where the price increase only occurred before the new year, and then there was a drastic decline in prices, maybe this history will repeat,  and from now on we need to anticipate it so that it doesn't happen to us
Even in May? That must be a good information to have right now. But, I believe altcoins rallied in April just because of ethereum and Elon Musk. Ethereum got lots of hype through defi/NFT etc whereas Elon Musk suddenly decided to adopt dogecoins to give it a life. So, if any of these was not happening in April then OP's opinion on April might have turned upside down.

If altcoins will be able to ride even on this May month then that would be a big push for my portfolio to have another massive growth in successive months. Let's see what is going to happen in the remaining 20 days of this month.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: May 10, 2021, 08:28:13 AM
What we do money is the main demand, actually both are good in the current situation of cryptocurrency. Our profit always inspired us to take the next step. I think the first time trade won't let you down. Even the current market will help you to increase your portfolio.
Yeah, I agree both are good to have as per the current situation of crypto markets. Still, I am personally doing with investments in more percentage and also recommending anyone to follow that. You may trade in more percentage if you are good in technical skills otherwise planning for investments with long term plans but only for the reputed coins is always a recommendation of this community. Fortunately dogecoin joined to that reputed list in recent times.

Trading is good and we may risk if you look for short term immediate benefits. At the same time, we must understand the potential risks of trading before getting with it.
