981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICOs... is it possible to profit? on: July 18, 2017, 07:23:11 PM
After reading about ICO investment I got all excited about popping a few quid here and there into some good looking ICOs and then turning nice, Porsche buying profits in a few months time...

After reading this read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1530158.0 I was feeling less sure...

Is it really possible to come out on top with ICO investment? And if so.. how!?'

Or am I just delusional and being drawn in by the nectar of the ICO Venus fly trap...?

Most ICOs will either fail, run, or just downright die after. I would say that only 10% of all ICOs will succeed in the long run. Just choose them wisely. Examine them and see if they have a real world application in this world. Don't fall for those stupid ICOs/coins that creates stupid things like CONCOINS (the convict's coin, like what the fuck were they thinking?). Check also the devs of the project. Some will looking legit AF, but they'll probably run.
982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of bitcoin before 1st August 2017 on: July 18, 2017, 07:04:51 PM
With the price decrease in bitcoins as on June and July, do you think the price of bitcoin will fall below $ 1000 before 1st August 2017?

Nah it won't happen. Look at the prices now, it is recovering. What happen was a temporary drop in prices and now people started buying when they saw everyone panicking and started selling. We'll likely even see another all time high even before August 1 from what it looks like right now. Though after August 1, I don't still think it will drop as I don't think there would really be a fork that time.
983  Economy / Economics / Re: About world crisis and criptocurrency on: July 18, 2017, 06:59:43 PM
Hello

what will happened with cripto currency if it was world crisis?
wha do yu think?

When there is a crisis then everything will go down. There is no reason why cryptos will stay up when it happens. Another scenario is that prices will go up, but the value of the dollar goes down. So in the end the value of cryptos will all still go down. There is really no stopping a crisis unless there is sudden changes the governments will do and its people.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 18, 2017, 06:47:21 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
I am developing my knowledge and skills on how to trade professionally! I learned forex trading in 2008 and since then I have been trying to perfect my trading skills and professionalism. I think for us to make more coins we would need to build our skills in a particular area of interest and work hard with determination for success.

Trading is indeed a good area of knowledge that would be a valuable tool in anyone's journey to getting rich. There are plenty of people that got rich in trading, though I would say that there are also plenty of people that got bankrupt in it. Just thread lightly. Not everyone has the same fate in trading, just be wary of the pumps and dumps.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I made 1 BTC in one night from a gambling website on: July 14, 2017, 12:35:08 PM
Winning 1 bitcoin is hard for those that doesn't have big capital but we are going far from the topic. I admire this type of person for being resourceful and he earned that much from those gamblers that he didn't know. I thought before that referrals aren't working anymore but this made me hopeful and wanna try referrals soon.
If you are having a good day then you could make a good amount ,even more than a bitcoin with just 0.05 btc, i have done it before and cashed out but the problem is i could not repeat that feat after that,i had one lucky day and i made the most ,it is all about luck.

Again, if you guys read this thread careful even just the OP, you would see that OP did not gamble to get 1btc. He actually got his money from affiliate links he posted. We aren't even sure if he did earn that much as he did not post the proof of it. He just stated it and share the link. Likely this is just a stunt to produce more conversion on that affiliate link.

This got me thinking. Yes, maybe its a public stunt by the OP to generate more discussion. Initially I though it might be real, but we didn't see enough proof to know if this is real or not.

Bitcoin's price was up and I felt like I missed the train, I had been involved in Bitcoin for a while but I had to exit my positions to get some liquidity. It was very frustrating.

It all started with a thread I started on Bitcointalk, right here in the gambling section. I suggested the readers to play on the gambling site in my signature and stated that KARMA would retribute those willing to play. A GOLDEN WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY HAD OPEN. A few curious readers tested by depositing 0.1 and came back to the thread saying they had win big.

It escalated from here and dozens of bitcoin gamblers started playing through my affiliate link. And some kept winning ! And they kept coming back to the thread saying they won. When i woke up I saw I had 1.031 BTC in my affiliate account, it was too sweet. I transferred it to a safe wallet and I was back in Bitcoin, thanks to KARMA and the community.

It could become true, strangers things have happen, luck doesn't only happen to others :-)
Nice, I have alway been thinking that I can not earn so much money throught affiliate program because the percentages from that program is so small. But now I believe in it.

It is really possible to earn through affiliate link, not just in gambling but in other industry as well. You just have to target the audience of the niche that you want. But is not easy as it sounds because you need to have a good pitch in order to get a least a click on your affiliate and sign up under you.

Because he is just promoting his affiliate link! I would believe it if he showed proof and that he did not share that link. I don't care if it was that big or small, there just so much red flags to his post and declaration of such things. It is all baseless and just trying to solicit clicks from people who read it. He did not further discuss anything about his winnings or how much he did actually get from those affiliate commission.

Also, if you would compute how much bitcoins his affiliate gambled, it would be enormous! Affiliate commission is usually just %20 -%50 of the house edge. Usually house edge is 1%. That means for every bet he would get 0.5% at most! That means his affiliates must gamble 200 Bitcoins to be able to get a 1 btc commission!
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamble sites on: July 14, 2017, 07:50:12 AM
What is the best sports betting site ? and what are his advantages ?

I like nitrogen and it has been my go to sports book ever since I started gambling using bitcoins. Back then I used to just play on a local bookie, oh boy they are such a cheat to tell you guys honestly. They charge about 10% every game regardless of the odds comparing it to the real big online sports books. I love nitrogen since it is easy to use and they have a really good reputation.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: July 14, 2017, 07:45:05 AM
Money is everything, it's the mostly needed in the first place when you are going to gamble. If money is not everything then how could you call it gambling if there's nothing to wager or to bet for?

I agree, why money is everything in gambling? Because we will not be able to gamble if there is no money. In gambling, we play the game and put up the money to get more. The game we play is just an ordinary game if we do not include money.

To be able to gamble I agree we need money but in order to win in a gambling game, money is not everything,  We need to guess the right outcome of the roll in order to win. We also need a proper management of our bankroll to last longer or minimize our loses during losing streak,  method and strategy also help but does not guarantee a win.  All in all it is a matter of different factor in winning a gambling games but it will start if we have money.

Money is not everything alright. But guessing outcomes is not also something we should even think about. We cannot guess the outcome. It is either a win or lose, you can't guess for certain what the outcome will be. It's more statistically tied. We have probabilities and not luck. The chances to win does not rely on what we do but more on really chances!
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 14, 2017, 07:39:42 AM
For most of people it's much hard to accept the lose on online gambling casino every time we got cheated by that casino. That is big reason which keep to chase our lose and in the end got addiction. This kind of thinking is really big problem and that is why so we see people crying while playing.

That is the worst thing to do in gambling. Chasing losses is such a bad habit that people should try to break. It's ridiculous to even think that in the end you will be able to recover all your losses. That's impossible and it is more likely that when you are chasing losses you will lose more than what you used to try and chase it.

990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: affiliates as players on: July 14, 2017, 07:11:55 AM
Hi!

I have some questions for members here who are affiliates.

1. Do you play on your casino partner's site or you just maintain a strict affiliate partnership?

2. If you are playing as well, do you use your affiliate earnings to bet?

When I was still playing a lot on nitrogen sports book, I had a few affiliates from my friends so whatever they bet I get a few profits from them. Nothing big, so I just add it to my bank roll. I probably just got a few sats from it. It's really hard to profit from affiliates to be honest.

I was able to do this too on nitrogen and had a few highroller friends to join my affiliate link. Got about 0.01 bitcoins every week, but that was back when prices were just about $200 a piece. So that wasn't much to gamble with. Though I still spent it and gamble using them. Added it too to my bankroll. But back then I had like 4btc bankroll, so 0.01 was like nothing.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: July 14, 2017, 07:06:00 AM
If you won some first games and think today is your lucky day, you might get some luck in gambling. But if you guy lost some amount on the very first time and think today is bad day or today is the same Friday 13th , just leaving the table as soon as possible!
i think so.i agree on that on your  first 3   top up of gambling if you loss .i think that was not  youre lucky   day .in my part if i have loss in my first 3 top up in gambling i will let go for that day.maybe  i can be a winner in the next day.i will wait   for  my turn.not everyday is a bad luck day .just wait on your lucky day and if it occur grab it like theres no tommorow.just think possitive and be wise everyday.experienced wise person on gambling is a great advantage of knowing on when was your lucky day.

There is no lucky day or unlucky day. There is just a day of gambling.

We can never predict if we are lucky or not on any day, like we cannot predict how the dice will roll. Everything in gambling is just by chance and we just leave it at that. We just make up a theory about luck and that we have it or not. In truth there is no such thing as luck. There is probabilities and mathematics in gambling, that's all there is to it.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outcome of Horn vs. Pacquiao on: July 14, 2017, 07:02:08 AM
The result is really mafia thing They let hirn win the game even though the scores bord is all pacquiao score because they fight at horns country they dont want their fighter became a punching bag without getting anything from it.

It is all business, winner had been decided even before the two player stepped inside the ring.  The rematch of the game had been planned, and Manny does not have a perfect record to hold so losing one more time is not an issue as long as he is paid big.  Then they will stage a rematch and this time Manny will be the winner.  We have seen this strategy several times, why are we not learning from previous fights?  Boxing is Business first before sports. That is how it is run today.

I don't think that is true. Why would a world champion just surrender his belt to a nobody? That would be bad for his image and potentially ruin his career and even his life. And I don't think Pacquiao would want to give up something just like that for money. He has so much already. Why would he do it? I don't think it was staged/
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me how this strategy losses? on: July 14, 2017, 06:58:48 AM
You walk into a casino, and you play roulette.

You bet
$10 on black,
lose
$30 on black
lose
$90 on black
lose
eventually
black comes out and you win.

I think the only thing stopping you would be the table limits?

This is the martingale strategy. You'll eventually lose. The bankroll you'll need to keep this going is extremely large.

I don't think even with very high bankroll also you can't make sure that you will win money from this dice strategy. If you that possible then by now gambling sites should have been closed. But it is not happening means this method or any other methods will never work in the longer term in gambling so don't waste your money in gambling instead invest in some other investments to grow your money.

Because in martin gale you assume that you have unlimited bankroll and that the casino does not have limits to your bets. If those two are not present then that would mean martin gale will fail all the time. The problem is that both those factors are never present in any gambling game.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: July 14, 2017, 05:52:36 AM
Congrats on the profits 50% and not yet even a whole year yet. That's going to be higher than 50%/annum income! I wish I had that much bankroll to invest on these casinos. I only have about 0.2 on a casino investment and even with 50% that's pretty small. Oh well. That's the bummer about this.
995  Economy / Gambling / Re: Say hello to Satoshi Dice, without the dice! on: July 14, 2017, 05:18:59 AM
there are too many loop holes as i see this! anyone with a generated address can deposit as much as they have and win each and every time!
too many whales and sharks swimming in these waters.

But I don't think they would be risking that much money for this. Anyway, I see two scenarios for whales and sharks here,

1. They put up huge amounts of money then they could lose because another whale shark has much more money
2. They forget about it and don't bet coz they fear they could get scammed or they lose to another whale

Checked your site, I don't seem to see where the button to change to english is.

It seems like the interface is pretty good. Though I would like to know if your site is registered with any government and is the operator declared? Sorry, since I can't really understand the language of the site, I might have missed those info.
Hello michkima. It has come to my attention that the language switcher was taken down due to too many bugs with the English interface.Apologies for that.

superbet.ro is owned by Superbet Online SRL and it has a valid gambling licence from ONJN(National Office for Gambling Reglementation). To check this go to http://onjn.gov.ro/approved/ and search for superbet.

I also had a chat with my boss and he agreed to reduce the minimum deposit for the promotion specified above to 0.25BTC.

Cheers,Marcus.

Oh that is why I couldn't find it. It's good that everything here is legit and registed.

About the minimum deposit. It is too high. If you have been here for a while and checked out a lot of bitcoin casinos like Nitrogen Sports (the leading bitcoin sports book), they only have a 0.001 minimum deposit (not sure now, since I haven't placed there for a while). Anyway, 0.25 is pretty high comparing this to other sports books. Maybe 0.005 - 0.01 would be your best bet. At 0.25 you are likely only catering to high rollers this way.

There is a bit of misunderstanding. The minimum deposit isn't 0.25BTC,it is 0.004BTC(~10$).The minimum deposit to qualify for the promotion is 0.25BTC.

Cheers,Marcus.

Then that is fair as a minimum deposit. Though I didn't see that 0.004btc minimum deposit on here or on the site, since I think you guys just started accepting bitcoins there is no terms for it yet (I presume since there is no english translation yet).

About the minimum for the promo, well since it is promotions then you can set whatever amount you want.

Yes we should forget about the past losses and try to have fun with small amount in gambling and who knows if we are lucky then we may recover all our past losses in a single game and that hope makes us coming back again and again.
yes everytime we play we forget the past things that happen whether we lose the game or we won that game, what important for us is we will have fun or having fun in the game and we are happy playing it aside from we are getting money from it and we gain the money that we have been deposited from it. what keeps us coming back is our goal and we love gambling because it is a passion and stressed reliever for us.

That's the reason why I always loss my money Sad I wanted to recover my loss from the past. And my loss is gaining Sad

But I do play everyday for only free money, don't know why but I love the community where I am playing. Smiley
in fact we always have expectation about gambling that gambling will give them good profit if they will continue playing it, but in fact gambling is totally depending on our luck and i think everyone know that no one can become so much lucky for every time.
yes you are rigth it not about loosing and winning its about how we injoy or having a great fun doing it.because gambling is not only for gaining more profit but it also for those people who want to injoy thier life.i think in gambling the most factor who keep me coming back even if i will loss a lot is the feeling .and the excitement of doing it.

I am starting to shift from saying that gambling is for entertainment. People just abuse this argument, though I have done so too. But I am saying this now because I don't think it is so much fun losing money, period. I would say it is fun when you are winning in casinos. Though if you are playing a poker game with friends it could be fun.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 13, 2017, 06:08:50 PM
Why stop at x2 when you can go after a higher number eh?

Well this has been my philosophy and it never has played out very well ever since I started gambling. x2 might be good, but you already risked a lot why not go after higher numbers than that. It might be hard, but that would totally be worth it if you do get it to even x5.
1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What type of sports you love in sports betting and why? on: July 13, 2017, 05:57:32 PM
Well I love basketball and E-Sports,
And my reasons are I like to watch some e-sports game and play it that also goes with basketball.
I also bet in some boxing matches.

I found betting on E-sports is much difficult rather than on physical sports like basketball and baseball because the information of the team roster is very limited and anytime, the gameplay of a player varies. I used to bet on mineski before on Dota 2, but now I've switched team to TNC now.
I think much better in physical sports like you are going to find someone who support the other team im always do physical sports betting like NBA , PBA here in my country and most of the time i won not only because iam bandwagon because i really want money to earn from them dota 2 is not good Tongue

What do you mean by physical sports? Did you mean just sports and you are comparing it to e-sports? If so, then basketball, soccer, football, tennis, etc. are all sports by the way, and you don't need to put there "physical".

Dota2, CS:GO, LoL, etc. are e-sports. They are the ones specially classified since they are the minority and they are just all new things that was considered to be as sports.
