981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: September 15, 2023, 02:33:34 PM
I think that when a gambler has the mindset that he needs to have a winning amount target, he may eventually become addicted. Because we cannot say how much we will win in gambling,  we can experience winning here without knowing when it will happen. That's why most people rely on luck because there is no technique here in playing gambling, so it cannot be considered a source of income because luck is the only reason why we win here as a casino player in gambling.
Sometimes, a winning limit might be helpful in preventing you from getting addicted. Let's suppose that your bankroll is about $500 per month for gambling, and you also understand that losses in gambling are inevitable and one simply cannot keep winning, but, you keep a target for yourself for every day, like $30 or something, which is your winning amount limit and once you achieve that limit every day, you stop gambling right at that moment.

This thing can help someone stay safe from becoming greedy and losing what they might have won just now and we know that this thing happens a lot in gambling where one might have won something but they don't get satisfied and they keep playing to win more but eventually lose what they've won.
It's rare for people to have a budget of $500 a month to gamble. If so, how much does he earn a month? But it can also happen to people with very large incomes. However, achieving the winning target every day is not easy because it means we have to prepare a large amount of money to gamble, where the result is that we may experience many losses before we can achieve the winning target. You already know that gambling is entertainment, and to win, it depends on profits and also your ability to analyze if you choose sports betting. Achieving the winning target also takes time, even though we don't know when to win.

But if his winning target is not high and is around $10, maybe he can achieve it, but still it is not easy. To get that $10, how much money do we have to use to gamble?

Rare for rich people since they can afford to lose more than that and they cannot follow it even if they promise to have proper financial plan on gambling especially when they are been much enjoying on what he do. For other have enough money then provably its hard for them to lose that and they are more aware that they should not spend any larger than that since they might go broke with that.
982  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 15, 2023, 12:49:28 PM
Just wondering for the sake of it, if crypto trading was so profitable for so many influencers and YouTubers, why would they care so much about affiliate money…? Why take the trouble of creating, editing and uploading so many videos? Does this mean that if you see any YouTuber or crypto “celebrity” pumping a product or trying to make a buck out of content, that you should run away from them? ‘Cos why take so much trouble if you are already making money with your trading? Of course not everyone is a trader, but…

Choose those influencers that give informative contents to his followers and actually we can actually see that. To many influencers are there for hype then care about the profit they can get from people who watch and register to the link given. Its so rare to see those people who truly educate that's why we need to widen up our research and we can find those people. Also nothing wrong about those affiliates the only thing bad about that is they are not helping but instead they help scammers to scam their followers.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are telegram bots for trade worth it? on: September 15, 2023, 11:58:40 AM
I know we've seen them surging the market and there are even discord bots something like that and whatnots that could connect to trade or other things. But, whoever here already used it, I'm just curious to know since I haven't really test the waters in this market. Thanks in advance!

If those bots are for price updates, whale wallet transfer and news then yes this is really helpful since we can get some latest insights about bitcoin or the whole cryptocurrencies.
But for profit maybe we can't rely on those bots since no program yet release some promising result to the people who use it so maybe we should forget about automatic profit from this and just learn from those information you can get there.
984  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: September 14, 2023, 10:40:27 PM

There’s a recent news that FTX asset finally received a go signal about liquidating their asset. This might be the reason for the recent price spike since many anticipated that those traders that money got trapped will re-enter on crypto especially those Solana and FTT tokens that is included on tokens that will be liquidated.

I'm not sure if this hype will continue but just like previous spike on 27K, It corrects immediately after few days.

Yes that its true but also a few thinks that its the main reason to keep seeing a low price , because that money its gonna flood the market with a big imbalance on the sell side. And after that we can start to see the price going up again, but for me this year we are still in this channel 22/35 k USD no more.

Next year its gonna be another history.

We can also add up the recent refund news about Mt Gox so maybe this can stir up some positive vibes to many people and can make majority afraid for upcoming dump because of this news. So its not surprising that we can see those figures to reach that's why its better to be more prepare if that situation came or maybe worse.

If there's a prediction contest for sure it will be more exciting since we can see people thought about possible direction of bitcoin.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approac? on: September 14, 2023, 10:16:58 AM
It's the opposite for me. The lower the bankroll or capital you have, the lesser risk that you're taking.

Yeah, those that have huge capitals can stay to gamble for so long but do they afford to lose all of that? And that's why I think that having a smaller capital is what should be the lesser risk.

Since everyone is anticipating that they're going to lose then lose with small and affordable amount of yours. The principle of betting what you can afford to lose is what we always say because its risk is associated on how much we're willing to let go.
We share the same idea. Gambling with a small capital only results a lower risk, as having a bigger capital comes with a bigger risk too. However, the fact that almost everyone is losing from gambling, then we should be cautious to only bet for small capital, that way if we lose, at least the pain is still bearable. Than to bet all in by starting a huge capital, and expect a bigger win after, but in reality, bigger capital only enable you to suffer from huge and unbearable losses.
Yup, that's the purpose of gambling only with small amount. But we can't stop those gamblers that do gamble a lot and they've got an allocation for their gambling activities that has a huge share of their salaries or profit from somewhere else.

Especially those gambling professionals and experts that are making a living out of it, they for sure have the bigger capital. But for a newbie and for an average gambler, it's just best to stick to a plan that you'll only allot not that much.

An amount that you're not going to feel bad when you run out of your luck and you can just that, it's okay because you'll just earn it again.

Each people have their own preferred bets since it always depends on their financial capabilities. Some can bet huge amount since they think this is the way where they can earn fast cash if they win or get lucky for that day.

And some cannot do anything since they have less fortune and can able to spend few chunks of money so they usually bet less and hoping to earn big. There are lots of this on gambling site but all of that is fine as long as you enjoy then all bets placed is totally worth it.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of FTX's multi-billion crypto sell-off... on: September 13, 2023, 02:30:20 PM
Could this possibly have a major impact on the crypto market? I personally don't think so because of the $100-$200M selling limit per week. Also, FTX's Solana exposure is vested, meaning they won't be able to access those tokens until 2028. But, as we all know, anything is possible in crypto! Let's see how the market reacts.

At the time of writing, the global cryptocurrency market cap is $1.04T. FTX's asset of $3.4B is around 0.3% of the current whole market cap. So that minuscule number would hardly make a major impact on the cryptocurrency market. Even without the selling limits, I believe it would not significantly affect the market.

FTX has done enough as one of the contagion causes, so the current case would not affect the market as how it did back then. Nevertheless, as noted by Messari tweet, it likely affects some coins, especially those that have few weekly trading volumes. But generally, if we talk about the whole market, it will be fine.

If we look at as a whole for sure it cannot affect as a whole since even if many will sell and no noise will be created for sure no movement gonna happen with that scenarios. But if that incidents are been used by manipulator and they want to create fear to people then provably there's some bad movements will happen since we know how people reacts on negative news they hear so most provably we can see a short term dump happen when that massive sell off came.
987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another reason and proof to keep funds in your wallet not in an exchange on: September 13, 2023, 12:11:25 PM
Although this has not happen to our exchange where we put our funds for a long time, this should prove that its not safe to be there for months or years, you have to secure your money, or tokens/coins to your hardware wallet, or electrum wallet etc since you have full control unlike CEX.
Earlier there is a news that Coinex have been hack, where the hacker transfer and drain the wallet, with ETH, Polygon, Tron etc, i think this is the first time this exchange has been hack, i say i have coins there but no value, but if you have lots of eth and others thats is a major concern, since we don't know if they can refund the loses.
so to be safe store your bitcoin and other coins to safe wallet, like hardware wallet etc.
this is the link of the news :https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinex-crypto-exchange-suspected-hacked-crypto-moved

Don't stress yourself about this since you can do simple actions with that.

Just put the amount which you can afford to lose if you trade regularly transferring your balances on daily basis might cause you a lot since transaction fees change and you might pay expensive if you do your daily activity.
But if you are not a regular trader then its fine to withdraw since there's no problem holding your balance on your personal wallet for long time and you can make sure its stored on safe place.
988  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: September 13, 2023, 10:22:21 AM
Most probably they will continue it keeping in mind the past popularity for it and numbers of participants as they have significantly increased but also hoping bitcoin to bounce back also as we are now eager to get some high levels by the year end and predictions should be like $40k-$50k in @Bitcasinos coming predicting contests.
Am pretty confident that they will continue these contests within this forum since they are very popular. However, I am not expecting BTC price to soar above the $40K anytime soon based on recent trends.

The upcoming halving event could help it rise to that range, but that is still sometime away.

If many will ask about it why not right? Maybe they are waiting for right demand to launch their prediction contest again and its somehow good to see what's in mind of people regarding to the price they think bitcoin could reached.

I'm also not expecting any big movements this month or even this year, near price which is possible to achieve is at $30k - $35k.
989  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can I make a loan with collateral with small interest on: September 12, 2023, 02:12:38 PM
I need a suggestion where I can get a USDT or BTC loan where I can use a physical collateral such as a vehicle or a gadget. Can you suggest where I can do this?
With minimal fee or interest if possible. Prolly along term loan.

Only those people near you can actually lend you since your collateral is hard to acquired by people who's not there physically and I doubt you can get a loan by just presenting that. Maybe try to follow what a user suggest since if you have that physical assets then provably you can use that on banks to lend you the amount you needed. But if you try here because you think this is the only option you have. Then provably your wish to get that will not be granted by any lender here.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 12, 2023, 12:03:36 PM
While many demonize gambling as the root cause of addiction and financial ruin, isn't it time we shift the blame from the industry to the individual? After all, countless activities can lead to addiction, but we don't vilify them all. Maybe it's the lack of self-control and inability to understand risk that's truly at fault. Let's stop blaming the game and start holding players accountable for their choices.
It is true that due to lack of self control gamblers are more at risk actually there is no fault of the game here but it is better to control yourself. If not controlled in time gambling tendencies can reach addiction. Addiction often creates an unstable emotional state, with a greater tendency to react with irritability and anger and hostility toward the constant upheaval of the day. We should not forget that the indomitable nature of participating in online gambling underestimates the harmful potential of this type of addiction and the symptoms it manifests through.

They might go on this way if they follow someones activity especially those influencer. Its hard to follow them since we don't know they show realistic result or just a fake one that's why gamble on your own pace and always in right mind to decide whether what condition you are experiencing on. Would be so hard if we get addicted since no one will take charge to help us but only ourselves if we go thru this condition so always bare in mind thag game responsibly.
991  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: September 12, 2023, 10:33:57 AM
I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert. I desire a new beginning and am hoping that my prior participation in bounties was not improper. In order to accomplish this aim of mine, I will need all of your help and guidance.

Before you became an expert just start to have a newbie mindset. Which you are open to learn new things everyday and be consistent with that since if you quit since you find all of this hard then you cannot go anywhere with that.
For now since you're starting up better start by browsing the threads here since for sure there's a lot to learn from that and always seek for feedback once you want to try something risky or on situation which you don't know what to do.
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 10, 2023, 03:59:50 PM
BTC so been playing on stake for 3 years.
Last Sunday my balance went from 8 k to 10k I got phishing mail and I clicked thinking it was legit bonus as I was nearing level up.

I was phished and my funds were gambled on 3 bets.
I was surprised why hacker didn't cashout. May be 2FA.
Peace .

If you have proof of this, then I think the casino will refund you. But proving that you got phished might be difficult as in the eyes of the casino, you might just be looking for a refund after a bad streak. In the future you should use more secure practices to avoid falling for such dumb traps. I am not saying that phishing is an easy thing to look out for, but as long as you remain vigilant, maybe set up 2FA and don't hand out your main email for every little thing. And make sure your website address is always correct.

I hope you have better luck in the future!

I dont think it is possible to get refund even if he can provide solid proof, it is completely his own responsibility and the casino is not responsible for such case IMO.
If he gets a refund then it will lead into a big problem for the casino if there are many victims of the phishing like him.
Nothing he can do now except accept the fact that he has lost the money, an expensive lesson learned ofc.

I don't even also think on why stake will do a refund on cases where their user got phising attack, this is not their obligation so I provably say that this is users fault for not verifying the email they receive. If there's a possible refund then provably they might be a target of another abuse so its good not to take any of it and just warn this user about those people spreading phising links to hack peoples account for sure from this they can atleast lessen up the number of newbie victims of this attacks.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Father of Ethereum's X account got hacked on: September 10, 2023, 06:23:19 AM

So far (according to the article on Cointelegraph) there has been a few accusations against Buterin's alleged negligence on the security management of his Twitter account, though I would say it is too early to tell whether this was actually negligence or there was someone within Twitter staff involved with this theft of assets, as it was the case with the last big Twitter massive account appropriation for theft of Bitcoin, a couple of years ago.

Maybe Vitalik will not let his account get hacked for easy as that since he for sure know the consequences and might it can ruin his reputation also including ETH if he's found out doing that. Bur the affected amount is not so huge for him so provably there are hackers just  trying their best to penetrate his account since they know that they can get something just like this incident happen.

Why would someone bother to hack an account of a well-known personality on Twitter and then publish a fraud that is easy to notice? I understand that the reason for hacking is to prove that I am better at programming or to destroy someone's reputation, but the number of hacks was very systematic, which indicates a problem with the X platform or a development in hackers .
X is a bad place to start your investments. Always check the links several times and do not trust the account, no matter how reliable and verified it is.

Many series of well known personalities hacked and they do that for scamming purposes then we see them succeed that's why they keep doing this.

Always best for us to check the link and the authenticity of the post before we go in since we never know if the poster is been hacked or legitimate one.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Father of Ethereum's X account got hacked on: September 10, 2023, 01:31:56 AM
Vitalik Buterin's account on X got hacked and it result to whooping $700k dollars lost.

Click this source link to read more information

This indicate that we should never believe immediately on what we can read online especially if that have outrageous offer or good promise of return since we don't know if the account of influential man like him got compromise already so we need to be aware for next incident like this.

997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: September 09, 2023, 11:15:19 AM
There's no lack of memecoins, all social media like Twitter, telegram reddit everywhere you will find the promotional news of new memecoin but there is no guaranteed step to follow and find out new good meme coin in early stage. Before investing, look at some memecoins charts! Most of those are dead after a few month of launching.  Promising team, biggest community, pre announcing partnership really doesn’t make you help to find out good memecoins. But shit memecoin is everywhere, no need to give much effect to finding those
Exactly, and it totally depends on someone's luck because finding and investing in meme coins that then might become very popular due to community or celebrity hype is basically the reason why meme coins become famous and gain so much value. We say that gambling is purely based on luck, so investing in a meme coin is basically gambling, if you are lucky, you might get something on top of your investment, otherwise, you will lose whatever you've invested.

I don't find meme coins to be worthy of any investments because they are not real cryptocurrencies, and trading is not gambling, if someone wants to gamble, they can go to a gambling platform, choose a game and gamble their money there and they might get something out of that. When you enter the market, you ought to do proper trading by buying and selling proper cryptocurrencies.
Meme investment doesn't really have a strategy or anything like that, only with the courage to buy the token early. and most results do not always live up to these expectations, the hope that coin meme investors think of is only a significant increase in multiples of large numbers but that rarely happens. You are right that it is more appropriate to invest in a clear coinmarketcap ranking than something that is uncertain

The strategy you can use is to seek for those meme coins which create big hype even if they didn't launch yet since for this you can see their potential especially if many people following them. Hype is the important recipe for a meme coin to succeed then get a big pumps so try to seek that since for sure we have great chances to earn if we know how the play the hype game of this scam coins.

Although we know its risky but if we have guts for sure its also rewarding especially if we always do some good decision on our meme coin investments.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2023, 01:54:27 PM
< he might start off the bench because there no extra position for him to fill in while for the meantime, he will be a back up for Davis.

For me, having a player with length like Davis makes him a good backup, even though he may not be as strong as Davis in terms of rebounding and defense. However, giving Davis some rest would already be helpful, as every game feels different when Davis is on the court. He has the ability to bring a positive energy that elevates the team's performance. There shouldn't be any issues with the Lakers on the defensive end, given their height advantage. I'm confident that their coach knows how to manage the roster, so let's wait and see.

Davis is extraordinary talent Wood cannot easily replace his performance but adding him on the roster is really a great addition to them knowing that he can also provide some good performance to the minutes given to him. To many changes happen to them so for sure this is also need some huge adjustment to them so let see if they can work together since the issue now is their chemistry since Lakers always change their roster every season opener so might they will get a problem on rosters chemistry.

It is a big milestone and I must say, organic followers are more important than fake followers. You can see a new project in cryptoccurency launches with very high number of followers but they are not organic.

With Roobet, their followers are actually organic, not fake.

Will Roobet team consider to host giveaways for milestones of total bets on their platform? They will be cool events to celebrate big milestones of Roobet business.

Organic followers gained from good performance they performed and always setting up some good standards among those gamblers playing on their site. And its not surprising that Roobet build up a organic community since this is the result of the effort they made and how reliable their business.

Well I guess your suggestion might be good so try to reach that to them and maybe they consider since Roobet team is always open on suggestions posted by their community member.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Stabilize Bitcoin on: September 08, 2023, 10:32:11 AM
In order for Bitcoin to be widely used for payments, it is necessary to stabilize price fluctuations.

Question,
Bitcoin and other currencies A and Prepare B.
A and B are equivalent exchangeable and can also be equivalently exchanged for Bitcoin.

Is it possible to stabilize prices through market mechanisms due to this?
Bitcoin has never been stable,  the price of bitcoin goes up and down.  Bitcoin price can't remain the same because it is not a stable coin, if bitcoin price remains stable it won't be profitable for investment.  The volatility in bitcoin is what makes bitcoin to be more valuable than stable coins. Bitcoin can't just be stable just to be use for payment,  bitcoin is a currency that has money feature like which it can be use to for payment and also to invest, it wasn't created only for payment purposes that is why it can't be stable, it needs to be volatile for the purpose of value for investment.

Some think that if bitcoin became more better and adaptable if this is stable. But they don't realize that this is not how bitcoin works and its ability to generate good profit will be taken out so for sure over the years people will lose interest to have it since they may find banking  options will be good to them. So its good that bitcoin market is volatile since trading it is one good feature that many people wants.
