981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: March 29, 2019, 04:57:40 PM
There are lot's of things to consider if you really want to move to another country ,
I think you should really think about it .
If you really want to move I suggest do some site visiting first to know about the place .
Travel first to find many options then choose what you like best.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you like to become a Certified Bitcoin Professional? on: March 28, 2019, 04:10:06 PM
Hi, I'd like to become a "Certified Bitcoin Professional":
https://cryptoconsortium.org/certifications/CBP

But I've been putting it off, so I thought I'd try to find someone to take it with me. The idea is to study for the exam together (the idea is *not* to take the exam together; just study for it). I can put in 1 to 2 hours a day.

Looks like there are 33 topics so it'll take 1 to 2 months to study (just a rough estimate).

Anyone up for this?
And this would prove what?
Could we use it in real life?
We would receive a certificate then what's next?
If we really want to we could just learn it we don't need certificate or anything.
After all certificates could be faked out we could make it by our own.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [AIRDROP] [BOUNTY] GLEEC COIN AN ICO WITH REAL-WORLD USE on: March 28, 2019, 02:55:09 PM
This isn't the alt-coin section you should move your topic to it's right place.
You are promoting it in a wrong section.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: March 28, 2019, 02:27:43 PM
Here in the Philippines we could use our local wallet called coins.ph to buy load pay for our electric, water and credit card bills and even book for travel.

There is a thread in the gambling discussion saying that we should not gamble our bitcoin and that changed my mind.

He's right, bitcoin could grow any time soon. So, why do we need to use bitcoin if we can gather more from it in the future?
Well we all have different opinion and of course Bitcoins price could grow but let's not forget that it could also drop down as well.
And the question is why wouldn't you use it as a regular currency?
We all want Bitcoin to be accepted and now that it is being accepted you aren't going to use it,
Why would you demand for acceptance if you would just ignore it when it is being accepted?
That's very simple, when the usage and acceptance of bitcoin increases automatically there will be good circulation of bitcoin in the market. Also the need for bitcoin will increase high, but when this scenario exists people tend to hold to experience the growth and get good profit. Most of the users who ignore after acceptance and keep hold were the low volume holders.
Seem's like there are more people who rather hold it than to spend it like a normal money,
Back then most of the Bitcoin users want to see it being accepted and used as a normal currency,But now that we could seems like they are ignoring it .
They all want Bitcoin to grow and now that it is growing by showing it's being accepted most of us are ignoring it.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two billion on: March 28, 2019, 12:27:34 PM
there is this service called walletExplorer which has been doing some blockchain analysis for a long time. if you search addresses in it, they can tell you which service these popular addresses belong to.

it says this address belongs to BTC-e.com which was a big bitcoin exchange back in the days before FBI closed it down.
here is the link: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/BTC-e.com-old?from_address=16R14EH4v8A9GPXkAAP8gcMFBA8oxA8nbY
I wonder what happened and if the users are still chasing for their crypto.
It is a huge amount after all and I think that it belongs to the user's why didn't they send it back ?
It is their money after all they earned it I think they should have it back.
986  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I quit smoking? on: March 27, 2019, 09:30:07 PM
I think the best way to quit in something is by lessen it day by day untill you finally quit on it.
Or try to divert it into something else I read that other people tried it with bubble gum if you want to quit then try that method.
Just find something to replace it little by little.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: March 27, 2019, 08:35:22 PM
If you have free Bounty tokens, would you sell at a loss? It can have advantages or disadvantages to sell at a loss: to avoid more loss but also to realises losses.

Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later. Market recovery will be positive to many good projects.

What's your strategy to make most profits now?
How could you tell if it is at loss?
We only invested our time and effort in it not to mention it only takes a few minutes per day,
I think you should be greatful if you ever receive a bounty reward with a value because most of the bounty was scam or if not they would be worthless no buy order in any exchange.
988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much money and which rule follow for trade?? on: March 27, 2019, 08:00:53 PM
Hey  I am newbie this forum and analysis that Bitcoin market down last 2 years. So I want to how much money need for trade and how get profitable frorm trade.I think this forum have many expert traders so I requested to all please tell me your experience about trading.
You don't need a huge amount to start trading.
When I first started trading I only put up about $100 to try it.
I don't want to lose all of my savings so I tried it with a small amount first and do some research on how to trade properly.
Luckily that $100 gave me a profit not big but still a profit.
Besides your profit depends on your capital and how much the crypto price have grown since ypu bought it.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: tell us about your latest gambling experiences on: March 27, 2019, 07:40:18 PM
So far my latest gambling experiemce was a total disaster.
I stayed away in gambling for so long I avoided it,
But last week I was tempted to gamble and tried my luck in a crash game my plan was to aim for a low multiplier but when I put my bet the game crash at ×0 could you imagine that,
I put all of my money at that game and it ended in so fast 😂 I guess I should just keep avoiding it.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: March 27, 2019, 06:35:19 PM
do you agree if the bounty hunter is paid USDT?
the good or bad impact on investors and the development of the ICO project, give your reasons
Yes I agree with it but we could also use BTC or ETH as a payment option.
I think it would really be great we wouldn't be scam because of it if they would make it weekly payment.
But we all know that this would be impossible.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: March 27, 2019, 05:18:29 PM
You should be careful on submitting your personal information.
Just imagine giving you a penny to have your information and then what?
What would they do to your information ?
Do you think that it is worth the risk?
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes tokens been dumped after a successful ICO. on: March 27, 2019, 02:07:09 PM
I think it is because of the early investors dumping their token right after it has been listed.
I don't think that there are any other reason or answer to this unless the team are dumping it .
The price drop are only happening because of the lack of demand as you can see once it is listed there is no one that wants to buy them.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: March 27, 2019, 01:50:14 PM
I think it is better to buy them it is much more easier if you just want to hold some of them,
But if you want to earn consistent crypto then invest in a mining hardware but it would really cost too much .
You would need to maintenance it to make sure that it is working properly and make sure that it is in a good condition .
But if you are into PoS then you don't have to do anything if I am right you could get some more if you just hold it for a period of time.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: March 27, 2019, 01:28:32 PM
Many of us prefer to hold multiple kind of coins. What do you prefer: holding it in a sigle kind of wallet or have it on a different kind of wallet?

Personally, I prefer to store in an opensource multi wallet that support all my preferred coin and even ERC20 token, its the only opensource multiwallet available called Hodler and so far I find it good. Do you think, this is really good idea?

If you want to hold a huge amount of crypto then I think you should do it in a hard ware wallet like trezor or nano ledger .
They also support ETH and many other alt-coin so your crypto would surely be safe in it ,
Yes it isn't free but the price is worth it if you think about it what if you use a free wallet then your funds would be hack then you would just lose more money than buying hard ware wallet.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are they behind ico? on: March 27, 2019, 01:09:38 PM
so you think ICO is controled/creating by one person ?
and he creating some ico and pick person by person for the team each ICO ?
oh come on man.

ICO/IPO It is an alternative fundraising mechanism in which blockchain startups issue their own crypto tokens and sell them in exchange for BTC and ETH.
And users, in their turn, can either spend digital tokens on the platform or sell them later on exchanges at x3-x100 the price. Tokens are basically like vouchers that you can exchange for goods or services on a certain platform. According to William Mougayar, author of ‘The business blockchain’, a token is “a unit of value that an organization creates to self-govern its business model, and empower its users to interact with its products while facilitating the distribution and sharing of rewards and benefits to all of its stakeholders.”
Essentially ICO is similar to an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in which investors purchase shares of a company

so who behind the ICO ?
of course ICO it self.

I don't get the question clearly but I think the OP is asking about who is the creator of the ICO's like the creator of the coin like Satoshi Nakamoto,
So my answer would be there are different person behind every project of course they had some help by their team.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will go back to $1 this year here is why.. on: March 27, 2019, 12:36:10 PM
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com_bubble#Companies_significant_to_the_bubble

Lycos - Purchased by Terra Networks for $12.5 billion in 2000.[44] It was sold in 2004 to Seoul, South Korea-based Daum Communications Corporation for $95.4 million.[45]

GeoCities - Purchased by Yahoo! for $3.57 billion in January 1999[39] and was shut down in 2009.[40]

Tiscali - Italian telecommunications company whose share price rose from €46 upon its IPO in November 1999 to €1,197 in four months. The share price then fell to €40 in less than two months and eventually fell to €0.20.

Think Tools AG - One of the most extreme symptoms of the bubble in Europe, this company reached a market valuation of CHF 2.5 billion in March 2000 despite no prospects of having a product.

The Learning Company - Bought by Mattel in 1999 for $3.5 billion; sold for $27.3 million in 2000.[43]

Global Crossing - a telecommunications company founded in 1997; it reached a market capitalization of $47 billion in February 2000 before filing for bankruptcy in January 2002.

inktomi - Reached a valuation of $25 billion in March 2000; sold to Yahoo! in 2003 for $241 million.

Broadcast.com - A streaming media website that was acquired by Yahoo! for $5.9 billion in stock, making Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner multi-billionaires. The site is now defunct.

.....

the problem? some coins are just way overvalued now. they have small teams, no earnings, often no real use or product, yet they are worth billions in market cap. many of the big players in crypto will go bankrupt if people keep pushing them......

the only way we can save crypto is if we evaluate companies realistically. if we buy into new, cheap, promising projects. not into the bubble coins that are extremely high.

Then I guess Bitcoin would also be back to $1 soon,
Buy new.cheap and promising project ? yeah right like most of the ICO's nowadays?
Look at how greedy you've become and look at how many ICO investors have lost because of the new, cheap and promising projects that turns into scam.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Quick - Bitcoin on: March 27, 2019, 11:26:15 AM
that is the nature of new technologies and investment in something with huge potential. it is like buying Apple shares at 1 cent! bitcoin is not meant for getting rich quick but because of its massive growth it is going to offer that for a long time as the growth and adoption continues happening.

I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year)

it is hard for me to calculate how much profit i have made since i have bought and earned bitcoin on all prices from $500 in 2014 down to $200 in 2015 and up to $20000 in 2017. so i guess the maximum profit is at 9900% at the moment Roll Eyes
I couldn't track how much I earned in crypto too I have been earning in crypto back in 2016 through some sites .
I invested and earn in crypto and also cash out some to spend so it is really hard to track how much I made in crypto because back then I always invest every time that I have extra money.
I  always save some money to invest in crypto but there are time that I would end up in gambling and lose most of my saving .
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Holding shitcoins will not make u rich on: March 27, 2019, 11:08:46 AM
It is true holding some shitcoin wouldn't make you rich but sometimes there are some low valued alt-coins that could survive and make you some good profit.
There are so many alt-coins right now and most of them are shit coins that would be dump all the way down to being worthless .
We couldn't expect too much from them don't expect that the bull run would even revive them and make them worth it .
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH on: March 27, 2019, 10:49:57 AM
I think it would be best to have both of them they are both a good project just invest half in EOS and hold the other half,
EOS has been pump now and if you think that it would continue then go we couldn't tell if it would stay that way or be dump again .
But for me it is better to buy it right now rather than waiting for the price to go down again because you might miss your chance when it continues to pump.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help - bounty problem on: March 26, 2019, 08:35:46 PM
I think you should contact them about your problem seek their help about your problem since it is their bounty platform.
And if you don't know how to use it you should try to search in google or youtube to  learn how to use the platform correctly.
And I am just curious on what bounty did you participate you are just newbie with just 13 post so it wouldn't be signature campaign or what.
