9881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is the year of altcoins on: June 27, 2018, 12:37:28 PM
Whats with the title? The content is different from what I'm expecting. I thought you would say some altcoins that are worth to you.

About 2020 and McAfees prediction, I'm serious about him before and I even told my friends that he said bitcoin will reach $1,000,000 soon but now I regret that I told that to my friends. Sad

There can be also a twist with 2020. It can be also the best year because bitcoin can possibly reach 6 digits by that time.
9882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Campaign on: June 27, 2018, 12:29:15 PM
For the lower ranks like you OP. Its difficult to find for a signature campaign that will accept you so that means you cant stay with it. However there are hopes with other campaigns like social medias, its not only about facebook but theres also twitter and instagram. Dont forget other options like telegram campaigns.
9883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone explain me BTC? on: June 27, 2018, 07:38:41 AM
Let´s leave aside the obvious Wink

Who does the job, after the last BTC is mined?

Still miners, they will mine bitcoin to confirm transactions.

What Will Happen When All Bitcoins Are Mined?
9884  Economy / Economics / Re: Some facts about the global debt... on: June 27, 2018, 05:56:12 AM
This is an informative stats but even how many statistics about global debt you'll give these skeptics who keep on calling bitcoin a bubble, they will never consider it.

All they want to do is to keep pushing their opinion or what they are aiming of putting the market down with their very simple words but can move the market from heights to lows.
9885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC stated that ETH is not a security.. price will rise now? on: June 26, 2018, 11:45:02 PM
Is the news authentic?
Yes it was.
SEC official says Ethereum is not a security, freeing it from oversight
9886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Rules of Crypto Trading on: June 26, 2018, 11:35:44 PM
9. Never pay attention to FUDs.
10. Don't ever panic sell/buy.
11. Learn to be patient, this is a game of patience and whoever will be the most, will harvest it's worth.
12. DYOR and educate yourself.
9887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you afraid of the market now? on: June 26, 2018, 11:19:03 PM
I think the next economic crisis will affect the digital money market.
Why you think so that it will affect the crypto market?

Quote
Are you afraid of the market now?
I'm not afraid of the market now.

Just remember the words of Warren Buffett about afraid/fear in economy. It's an advantage for someone who can clearly understands this market.
9888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Retail investors need to understand the market has changed! on: June 26, 2018, 11:03:02 PM
Forget about the past.
The market has changed!
Forget about the all time high's from the past? or forget about the decentralization that crypto has been promoting?

Be aware of incoming regulation
This is expected, government won't allow us to be happy by not being taxed.

Be aware of scams and coins that are trading as scams!
Scams are everywhere so is this really the message that you want to share to us from the past?
9889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pump and dump? on: June 26, 2018, 10:49:43 PM
It's about money.
Sure, that's understandable.  But are people really so short sited they can't see how this is hurtful for the longevity of the market?  This type of behavior will not only keep the typical investor/consumer from entering the crypto world, it invites government regulation.  If we can't regulate ourselves, it just a matter of time.
They don't care at all with those sentiments that you are mentioning as long as they are taking out good cash, looking at the profits that they can possibly made during short times it is what's the most important thing to them.

We already seeing the government starts to make their own move by interfering through regulations.
9890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pump and dump? on: June 26, 2018, 10:34:58 PM
Pump and dump is unethical.

The usual group of it will dictate you what will be the coins that you should start buying and when people on the top saw that coin is currently being pumped, you'll get left behind.

more specifically why are people who're otherwise ethical folks participating in them?
It's about money.
9891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will probably reach 4500-5000, following seasonality pattern. on: June 26, 2018, 10:21:03 PM
You are comparing two different worlds, there is resemblance on how to do stocks and crypto's but they are revolving in different dimension.

What you are saying is we will get a light on July and August and then we'll see again another bear market September and October.

How can all these months isn't enough for the bear?

Nothing but seeing the previous price fluctuations he is predicting on that basis, and if it comes as same as he told then just see that how he will come and cry here saying what he told has happened. Any one can predict it but what should be to happen that only going to happen to the market. I can also predict that in the end of 2018 market will be nearby $15k + if it comes then i will be happy.
But basing with another type of market is different from getting facts with his predictions. I concluded that when stocks are falling, bitcoin is also falling too but having predictions with the pricing, rising and fall, I just don't understand on how it goes.

Everyone is free to predict but telling a low bottom which has been suspected to happen few days ago at $5,800 won't go through $4,500 which is very low.
9892  Economy / Services / Re: [J O B] Bounty activities. People needed! on: June 26, 2018, 09:59:59 PM
paid in W12 tokens
You will not pay in bitcoin so kindly move this job offer to Marketplace (Altcoins).
9893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a blockchain system be destroyed? on: June 26, 2018, 09:13:17 PM
There's no way to destroy the blockchain system if you are only implying to someone that can basically destroy it without using a massive destruction force.

Decoding, decrypting or anything to make the blockchain system broken isn't possible for now. But there are ways to slow it down but still not a way to destroy it.

9895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unpaid bounty on: June 26, 2018, 09:50:34 AM
When you have followed some bounty then at the end of the bounty they promise to distribute their tokens based on the time they have specified. But in fact, after waiting some time token not sent. What's worse, it turns out bounty that we have followed is a scam.
How do you deal with this while your time has gone to work on bounty to promote their projects.
I haven't been involved into any ICO nor invested nor joined.

In such cases the best thing that you can do to deal with this situation is to move on, move forward and learn from those scams.

You can't recover your losses, your effort and time that was wasted.

When you search for another bounty make sure you have learned from it and use the lesson from that experience.
9896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TradeIO 3 Days to go on: June 26, 2018, 09:32:38 AM
What's with trade.io?

I've seen many of post here in Altcoin Discussion talking about them, are they going to launch their own exchange very soon?

You guys seem to be active advertising it.
I still do not know when the exchange will be launched, They will just announce the launch date of Tradeio Exchange on Friday, June 29th. I think they are actively promoting this project because they want to earn points on the Tradeio viral campaign
I thought this is just a token but if they are going to do something like binance did of making their own token shares and will create their own exchange.

I see so these people who are actively campaigning TIO with their words are into making points of viral campaign.
9897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win? on: June 26, 2018, 08:20:42 AM
Hey guys, what do you think who will win in June bears or bulls? Do you think we will see bitcoin 12000$ in June, or we will stay in bearish market and bitcoin won’t grow?
It's june 26 now and we are still in the bear market so this question has the answer that bear won still this time and we are not able to see bitcoin $12,000 this month.

But there are some amazing ups that happened recently when bitcoin hit $5,800 and came back quickly to $6,200 which means that bitcoin is still strong at this moment and will stay as the king.
9898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Practical is Bitcoin As Payment Service? on: June 26, 2018, 08:00:54 AM
i am new here and i came to ask fellow users about how practical bitcoin as payment method is?
It's practical if you want to help boost bitcoin's demand and at the same time purchase those things that you want online conveniently. I'm also using it for paying some of my needs.
I mean how much i can use bitcoin to pay online for shopping, services and goods?
You can use any amount that you wish, there's no restriction on how much you can spend buying goods online.

9900  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession and Bitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 07:22:23 AM
As many experts and economists are predicting recession in near future, will Bitcoin emerge as safer asset globally during recession like gold and similar assets, global investors might look for a global standard asset as compared to regional or fiat currencies which devalues in recession.
We will see if such recessions will occur in the future but it's no doubt that bitcoin will be the another choice of big investors to save their money.

Putting it up to an asset that can fight the recession is what they will be looking for.

I think it is likely that a recession will be a big boost for bitcoin but we can’t leave out the possibility that people will buy other types of “safe” assets for some reason and not bitcoin.
Yeah it will.
