9901  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: MY NEW DEMO FAUCET WITH VERY GOOF SATOSHI PAYOUT on: April 01, 2017, 06:09:50 PM
Nothing could beat domain hosted from your own hosting. Also much better if you have a domain name of your own not a subdomain from someone's domain.
Just incase your faucet become known, but unfortunately faucetfly.com closed or turned to scam. Your bitcoins, website and all efforts are gone.

Wait?

What are you saying?
Did http://faucetfly.com stopped paying their owners/users?
Can you send me some more information/proof about that?
Seems very odd, since what they're doing looks very profitable itself to me.
I don't know is it Faucetfly stopped paying or not, but it always was problematic service. Many faucets which are hosted on Faucetfly are not paying - after claim it's written that xx satoshi was claimed but nothing was sent to user ballance.
To OP, it's better to use other microwallets like Faucethub, ePay or Faucetsystem. And you don't need coding skill, you just need to upload script to your hosting. These microwallets provides step by step guides how to set up your faucet.

Why I only got bitcoin badge while some people have 3-4 badges? I'm not very lucky :/
It always interesting to see such April fools day pranks on bitcointalk every year Cheesy

I use your faucet before you change reward,it was easy to claim and it was nice reward for 60 min claim. Now when you changed reward I try to claim but you hide short link in Get Reward buttons, there is 3-4 of them on your faucet. After solve captcha and watch ads from short link I am again in main faucet page,no reward is send.

I know you need extra income for your faucet, but all this with short links in faucets becomes quite irritating. Also consider to change reCaptcha with SolveMedia or anything other because it is become to hard to solve reCaptcha recently, they require multiple solution,so every captcha must be solved at least 5-6 times.

Hi Lucius,

Thanks for the feedback.

I chose short link instead of popups. Both are annoying Sad. But I need one for the faucet.

There is only one reward button that works for the faucet. The other buttons are for support. The buttons change position every day Grin

If you have yet another possible let me know.
These fake reward buttons makes bad user experience. How user can know which claim button is real? And now I, same like Lucius - solved captcha, clicked reward button, it redirected to url shortener. I started to solve captcha on url shortener but then few popups opened.
I think it's too much struggle to get reward. If choose between url shortener and popups, I would prefer popups.
9904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When I talk to NON-BitcoinTalkers they don't know.. on: March 31, 2017, 02:48:33 PM
I also noticed that mostly people who are not members of bitcointalk haven't heard anything about SegWit, BitcoinUnlimited and etc. And it's very hard to explain it them, because mostly people are not familiar with bitcoin technical details.
But honestly, I'm not that guy who can explain it properly, because I know only few main things about BU, SegWit and etc.
9905  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Spectrocoin using my 100 Bitcoins for themselves scam scam on: March 31, 2017, 11:50:39 AM
I don't understand why I see complaints against Spectrocoin only when they lock accounts with huge amount of bitcoins, like 70, 90 or 100 bitcoins.
Now to the topic. I think there was reason why you was blocked. Maybe you break their ToS or something similar?
If their support don't respond to you, you can write PM to forum member VytautasK or SpectroCoin_support or just write about your issue on their thread on bitcointalk.
P.S. I can't understand why people keepvsuch big amount of bitcoins in online wallets/exchanges.
So they only lock accounts if there are large amounts in them?
What if someone who had a small amount like 0.02btc in there account and did the same thing the person who had 100btc in their account? Would they lock their account or just let it go because that's not enough for them to confiscate their funds and just hope they will continuing using them until they have a bigger amount of say 0.5btc until they decide to want to lock it so to confiscate those funds too to get a bigger payout for them?
That is what it sounds like what's going on here with this exchange/debit card company and the way that they so called "operate". Roll Eyes
I don't think that Spectrocoin lock accounts with many bitcoins just because they want to steal it. Maybe users break Spectrocoin ToS or fraud activity was noticed.
But also, it's not very usual thing to keep so many bitcoins on online exchange/wallet where users don't have full control of their coins and they have to folow qebsite rules.
It would be interesting to hear few words from Sprctrocoin about this issue.
P.S. I only now noticed that scam accusation was made more than 5 months ago and OP isn't active on forum anymore...

9908  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Experiences in Mining on: March 30, 2017, 08:08:53 PM
I never tried mining. Bitcoin mining is not profitable, because it requires big investments and gives small returns, also you need cheap electricity. I also never tried to mine altcoins, because I don't want invest in mining hardware and also don't know coins which is worth to mine.
I advice you to stay away from cloud mining. 99.9% of these sites are just ponzi schemes which are don't mine coins. Sooner or later mostly such sites turns into scam sooner or later. In these sites which gives free GHs, you need to invest if you want to withdraw what you "earned".
9909  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Send Bitcoins Without Fees [No Miner Fees] on: March 30, 2017, 02:51:18 PM
You didn't said anything new, mostly of us know Xapo wallet for a long time. Even if Xapo wallet helps to save money because their transactions is free, I don't think it's a best option to keep bitcoins - we don't have full control of our bitcoins on Xapo, because they don't give private keys.
Also, few months ago Xapo introduced fees for small incoming/outgoing transactions. I think soon they may start to charge all transactions, because it become to expensive to cover all transaction fees from their pocket.
Coinbase already started charge to charge fees because of growing amount of users and increased transaction fees.
9910  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet Owner-Do you want to put shortlink on claim button ? on: March 29, 2017, 10:16:53 PM
I'm not faucet owner, but I'm faucet user. And I can say from user perspective that faucets with url shorteners are annoying. I understand that's good way to monetize faucet but it's not user-friendly thing. But if your service will not have multiple popups and additional captcha in shorten link, then it's ok. Anyway, good luck with your service.
9911  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetSystem.com | FaucetBOX alternative | 🔥 Daily payouts! 🔥 on: March 29, 2017, 10:09:58 PM
Hi! Anyone know if i can change my btc adress in the faucetsystem?

It's not possible. You can't change your bitcoin address. Just use another bitcoin address to claim from faucets and new Faucetsystem account with your new address will be created automatically.
9912  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in Annual investment on: March 29, 2017, 10:03:14 PM
So I recently received an email from freebitco.in faucet that are now offering an annual investment for their user.
It promises a 4.08% of annual interest with a minimum of 30k satoshi to be able to participate.

What do you guys think about this?

This is the actual email from them:

Quote
Dear FreeBitco.in user,

We are excited to announce a launch of a new feature - a bitcoin savings account!

You can now earn 4.08% annual interest (paid and compounded daily) on any balance that you hold in your FreeBitco.in account, without doing anything!

All you need to do is mantain a balance of at least 30,000 satoshi (0.0003 BTC) in your FreeBitco.in account and we shall pay you compounded interest on your full balance everyday. There is no lock-in period to earn interest (you start earning interest right from the first day!) and your balance can be withdrawn any time you wish. Treat your FreeBitco.in account like an instant-access savings account to hold your excess bitcoins and earn passive interest on your account balance everyday.

Freebitco.in is probably one of the oldest bitcoin faucets out there and the most well known. Personally I have used their service ever since i was a bitcoin newbie, and every time they have paid on time without any problems.

The interest rate isn't that bad at all, it is actually higher than a lot of country's commercial bank interest rates which means that if you believe in bitcoin and you hold bitcoins anyway, this is a great way to accumulate even more Wink

I personally feel that their offer might be to short bitcoin because of the high price point when they put the ads out, but the offer is definitely legit. The interest rate isn't high enough for them to be a scam.

Is it me or it seems their faucet payouts have been decreasing big time recently. This does not have mean anything but it might be a sign of trouble of shift in their investments. If they keep doing this, people will switch to something else.
You are not right. Freebitco.in rewards is always same - $0.002-$200. It always same value in dollars.
And if Freebitco.in wouldn't able handle investments and guarantee interest, I don't think he wouldn't offer to invest. He said that he have more plans for his website and I don't think that he want to screw up his perfect reputation. But I understand why people are looking suspicious in this investment system - there was so many scam attempts that people don't believe in legit investment websites.
9913  Economy / Economics / Re: At what exchange rate would you call Bitcoin dead? on: March 29, 2017, 09:06:23 PM
Well, it's only theorical thing that bitcoin can loose all value, it's hardly possible. I think many people would say that bitcoin is dead if it price goes below $100, it's hard to imagine bitcoin price in two digit zone. But in reality, bitcoin can die only if all miners and nodes would stop as already mentioned above.
9914  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin faucet on: March 28, 2017, 10:16:53 PM
Is it so hard to use Google. Just search "bitcoin faucet wiki" and you will find answer. And I don't know what "how to program it" means? If you are talking about automated bot to claim from faucets, you won't find it. Even if some fraudsters have it, they never share it public.
Just an online site that gives a few cents of Bitcoin to kick start those wanting to invest in Bitcoin without buying or mining them.
Let me correct you - bitcoin faucet don't give few cents, it give part of cents, something like $0.001.
9915  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why you should stop using Coinbase on: March 28, 2017, 10:01:29 PM
ID verification via webcam is terrible thing, even PayPal don't have such thing. If they will ask for verification for every user, it would be even worse than banks. Coinbase works 100% against ideology of bitcoin. I'm used Coinbase for last two years to keep part of my bitcoins, but after recent news, I leave it.

they will not support Bits anymore
Fuck Bits.  I can't stand that denomination, and I think it's silly.  It's either satoshi or write out the exact amount of bitcoin.  No hassle, no mental conversions necessary.
+1 I never understood why conversions like bits or mBTC was made.

Oh, finally vodaljepa got negative trust rating - he deserved it. He scammed people with his adnetwork, he created many false accusations against legit services. And he never provided any proofs in these accusations. I think it's would be best to just ignore his posts.
9917  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Scottish Parliament voted for the new referendum on independence on: March 28, 2017, 08:48:59 PM
Scotland already had referendum and people voted to stay in Great Britain. Why they need for another referendum? Just because 62% of Scotalnd people voted to against Brexit? Well, Scotland is part of GB, GB voted for Brexit - simple as fuck. Now I only see populism from Sctland prime minister.
9918  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN]ePay.info, Micropayments and Faucets, Faucetbox alternative [0%Fee] on: March 28, 2017, 08:22:34 PM
it would be very nice if you make the faucet list sortable .
so users can sort witch faucet has best avg or most payout or sort them pay waiting timer ......
i hoipe you know what i mean Wink

kind regards
I agree with you! It would be also good to sort faucet by their age. Now faucets from ePay list opens on rotator, but many faucets can't be opened on iframe and we have to do additional step to visit faucet. I think it would be better just open faucet direct link on a new tab.
And your new design looks great. For me it's important that design is mobile friendly and I can easy and fast browse ePay website on my smartphone Smiley
9919  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Which faucet script is best for faucets. on: March 27, 2017, 10:28:58 PM
Look at my article, I collected all known faucet scripts into one place
bitcoins4free.altervista.org/bitcoin-faucet-scripts/
I don't have faucet and can't say which script is best, better to ask faucet owner for it. For example, I never heard bad words about jquery faucet script, but you will still need to block ip's and btc addresses. Also, ePay soon will realease their new script.
9920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE SEND BTC WITHOUT ANY FEES??? on: March 27, 2017, 10:11:37 PM
You are not right that Direct paying faucets pay less fees. They are paying same fees like everyone, just check transaction of payment from faucet and you will see it. But fees are to big for mostly faucets owners and this is why they are using micropayments proccessors.
You can send bitcoins without paying fees, but it will take ages to confirm transaction.
Or you can use Xapo, they don't charge fees for transactions, but only for transactions which are bigger than minimal allowed amount.
