9941  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: June 29, 2018, 08:09:18 AM
Nice BlackJack wins, whoever that is. Especially that Black Jack hit on the last 2 BTC bet (to win 3!). I still like my dice, but BJ can be pretty exciting with large amounts I guess. Especially when you feel that BJ hand must be coming after a long streak of no Aces.

We should really try to invite them in to chat in here and share their experience. Not that we're complaining if they just wanna focus on their gambling with 1 day left in June to spare;)
9942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first decentralized chatbot platform on: June 29, 2018, 06:22:51 AM
Hmm. Decentralized chatbot, do we really need that now? And under the description of "why decentralized" it doesn't actually say anything about the question. The answer about getting everyone to get the code shared and more effective is just the description for open source. And you're right there of course, open source is the way to go for blockchain. Interesting to use IOTA though, which, isn't decentralized Smiley
9943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Complex services for your project on: June 28, 2018, 03:17:34 PM
These definitely are complex services, but aren't you concerned that offering all of these things include some items that will just simply encourage fraudsters? I mean, whitepaper origination, for example. If a project doesn't already have an origination in an idea, then why else would they come to you, if not to cheat some people or get free money the easy way (which is to pay someone else to do the work)?

Your services aren't bringing value, they're taking them away. I would be careful with what you guys are trying to do.
9944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins have the best ongoing bounty? on: June 28, 2018, 01:33:08 PM
So, you're going to base your decisions on someone else's research. Big rule broken there.

You want to own a coin on basis of best bounty? Impossible to find out before the coin gets listed. And also an unspoken rule that will get actual coin community members to disregard you.

Choose a coin you like. A coin you want to use. A coin you believe is good in prospects not only in price but in utility. The space needs coins like these now, not just throwaway tokens that clog up the network.
9945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better for you shortest or longest bounty campaign period? on: June 28, 2018, 12:02:35 PM
I'm thinking for the interest of both the project and the community: long term 100%.

I've seen some people do success with "wildfire" campaigns or viral campaigns but this builds up hype and actually encourages also people to move on quickly.

Look at Gigabyte, (byteball), I loved them. I never got the chance to do their promotional campaigns, but they had a really long airdrop campaign over months. And THEN, to finish off the distribution, they stopped the airdrop and started paying out as bounties, so that people could promote it again and earn more, while getting even more community members. The benefit I saw was that some people who joined were also already Gbyte users/fans.
9946  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: June 28, 2018, 08:12:57 AM
Million dollar quarter for sure. I know Bitcoin's price has been going lower and lower, but don't forget, it only takes a few whales to bet big and bet often at BitDice. Only need to look in June itself to see this is precisely what's been happening. Price of Bitcoin might be declining, but this is only encouraging people to bet bigger in BTC. I've definitely doubled my typical bets on almost all my games, knowing BTC is not even 10k yet.
9947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sonm (SNM) price speculation in light of mainnet launch (30th June) on: June 28, 2018, 05:42:11 AM
This was one of the good supercomputer projects from last year, unfortunately, I made a different decision and went with a competitor, Elastic. Price wise I made the worst decision as XEL performed the worst among all of them. I have faith in these sort of projects really, so I do hope SONM does better and enters the next phase with mainnet. Even if I don't own any of it.
9948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Games using cryptocurrencies? on: June 27, 2018, 01:48:44 PM
I like the idea of games using crypto, but multiplayer is difficult in any game online because of cheaters and robots. They always force you to buy things to go to a higher level, which I will never ever do for games unless the payment is for things like removing ads or donations.

But I suggest to go to playforcrypto website. There is a snake game, like on old Nokia phones, you can kill time there when you are not doing anything, like I do on toilet haha. Earn some alts. Used to have Gulden but 1337 is still good.

We have a lot great mind here, it is everyone duty learn more the prime objective of crypto currency digital transaction, Scammer are everywhere, even posting Legit like link for as to be attracted to their modus, at the end will be sorry why one participated in such modus. We should not entertain such idea it is on the opposite of the objective of crypto currency transaction.

Sounds like you're using Google translate for your postings... you really shouldn't. But anyway, in case you're not. Let me try to understand your comment.

You're saying we should post legitimate links to attract people to sites that might scam? I would never post a link to a place I know to be a scam. OP wanted help finding games using crypto, so I posted knowledge of the one site I do know that pays crypto for the games played there.

Maybe this doesn't contribute to transactions (use), but, like faucets, it can contributed to adoption. I used to collect Gulden from that website. Did you know there are merchants accepting Gulden?
9949  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: June 27, 2018, 12:51:23 PM
I am not sure about the stability of the bitcoin but I am sure that it will dominate the market one more time with high % of 65% plus as it did last year. The current market itself is shrinking a lot due to dropped prices and hacks being done around the world. This is why its dominance almost halved after the last year surge and what we seeing is the natural and artificial dump mixture of the bitcoin. Bitcoin's dominance is always higher and is maintained today also but we need to see it go above 60% or so that we can say that it has obtained that stability which you talking about here.

I agree, but I also think market dominance is only one small indicator, and highly inaccurate anyway. Market capitalization has always and will always be a terrible way to measure crypto. It's usage that is the factor for deciding dominance, but it's hard to really track that unless you can analyze blockchains and determine which transactions are for people actually using it (and not just trading it).

As much as I like Bitcoin, of course I must say it will perish one day. Maybe not the way we think, maybe it will evolve. But the good news is, this won't happen when any of us are alive:)

9951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: June 26, 2018, 04:25:08 PM
With an increase of 200%, I would most likely have sold it, because perpetual growth is not possible and obviously there will be a correction, but in generally I would be happy. There were similar cases.

There's no likely or unlikely for me. If it's a coin I hold, I simply don't sell until it is a time I want to, which is still years from now, and many, many times the price it is now, far above ATH. That's not Bitcoin, in case you're wondering.

If it's a stupid coin I know I'm holding to speculate, then 200% burst will simply trigger my sell order for 50%. 25% is for 400% and the rest I hold for fun.

So the decision is out of my hands, that's called disciplined trading, right?
9952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is "Variety Jones"? on: June 26, 2018, 07:18:51 AM
Just want to thank everyone in this thread for being so diligent about finding info. Just a heads up I think Satoshi should be removed from the list (or at least add an asterisk)  as if VJ was known to be a large seed dealer then it wouldn't have been Satoshi since Satoshi already had tons of coins and no need to work for any like this, that and it seems to risky for him.

I would like to second this. I know we all enjoy a bit of drama and story to the not much talked about early histories of some Bitcoin users, but I think it's really high time we removed Satoshi from these types of associations. Satoshi clearly did not want to prevent anyone or censor use, but he was never a part of this type of deals.

In some ways, these guys contributed to Bitcoin being used as a currency but we could have done without them. All tools, no matter how useful, can be used for all means. This is just an example of that.
9953  Economy / Securities / Re: KYC Demands - How Safe are my Personal Details submitted? on: June 26, 2018, 06:18:26 AM
My advice is, treat all of these platforms with the highest possible distrust. If they are asking for your private details, then ask back for all their agreements on these details, how they are kept and what they will be used for and how you can ask them to remove it later. Make sure the company has a legal entity (that is, a company that you can verify or locate). This is so that, in case you are not able to ask them to remove the data later, as is will be your right, you can always report or lodge complaint with the right authority.

If they cannot provide any of that. Don't. Not worth it.
9954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the correlation between Bitcoin and altcoins price movements? on: June 25, 2018, 11:30:38 AM
Um, hasn't Bitcoin been growing sideways for a really long time now? I know people are thinking crash, but honestly, with such low volumes, it's more like a very long term decline, but weeks of sideways trading in narrow range. And alts, meanwhile, have been doing the same, but declining with even more consequences when compared to Bitcoin. Look at it every way you can and there actually is no situation where alts grow EXCEPT when Bitcoin does.
9955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 25, 2018, 08:11:06 AM
Don't know about you guys, but Poland (together with Argentina offcourse) are the biggest disappointment in tournament for me. Ok, they are in quite difficult group, but how did the played - it was terrible. Lewandowski is like Messi in this world cup - completely invisible. I expected more from this team. In Euro 2016 they had pretty much same players, same manager, but then it was pleasure to watch their matches, now it's painful for my eyes.

Poland was never rated in the top 10 teams by any of the analysts. So their losses against Senegal and Colombia didn't came as a surprise. They have one match remaining against Japan and let's see what they can manage. Personally, I want Japan to qualify for the next round ahead of Senegal and Colombia.

Lewandoski is a good finisher. But nobody gave him the chances to convert, and Poland have been overrated against the better solidarities of teams like Japan and Senegal.

Colombia will feel they missed their chance to go top, but they can still do it, depending on how the other Japan/Poland game goes next week. I really like the tenacity shown by senegal and Japan yesterday, that's the sort of team we want to see playing in the world cup.

If possible, my picks are Japan and Senegal, so Senegal better beat Colombia. They can!
9956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: June 25, 2018, 07:27:19 AM
Was actually really hoping for ETH to flash down to below $400 for a quick buy, but none of my orders triggered so I suppose we're in for even more sideways trading, or a slow recovery back to $500 before another retrace. Been that way for weeks now, but everything is pinned on Bitcoin. $400 is the most expensive I'd ever buy Ether for, so I don't mind waiting a bit more.

Jesus, omg... not this again....
Welp, Ethereum is not the only coin that is going down... I'm sure everyone knows and agree. May be it has to do with many miners switching over to dPoS from PoW system? Concurrently I think EOS is doing ok compare to other cryptosBTCBTCBTC

EOS doing okay? Have you even been reading the news or are you even an EOS user?
9957  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoUp.bet | Provably Fair Dice | 1% HOUSE EDGE | Free Withdrawal | Faucet on: June 25, 2018, 05:55:24 AM
Hi OP. I meant to report this yesterday but thought maybe it was an error on my side but the error is still repeating:

I can register, log in, take faucet, and bet on normal settings but if I change the settings, I can no longer bet. Also, I can't chat. I see the chat, but if I type and press Enter, my lines don't go into the chatroom. Might be a while before the site is ready to take deposits I think?
9958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Experts: Many Small Cryptocurrency Exchanges To Go Out Of Business Soon on: June 24, 2018, 11:22:57 AM
Well, to be honest, these small exchanges are killing themselves. They usually have very small staff, which is fine when they are small but then as they grow they fail to scale support. Users can put up with slow platforms. What they can't put up with are slow support. The smaller the exchange, the smaller the type of user they tend to attract. And then resources wasted on small tokens and shitcoins, which makes them very little anyway.

I think very small exchanges that do well keep customers happy and survive on loyal base. Take care of users and they keep coming back.
9959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in stablecoins?? on: June 24, 2018, 10:19:24 AM
My favourite stablecoin is TUSD (TrueUSD), because Bittrex team trusts them(they first who added this coin). I don't like Tether, because they have some problems with audit.
I heard yesterday that Tether will be audited, but I don't know what they will doing.

Bittrex also trusts Tether, and Bittrex also adds alts that have even worse reputations, so don't kid yourself. Bittrex, like any exchange, is about profit. If they can find profit in adding a token, they will. Makes no difference nowadays what tokens are added by centralized exchanges.

Tether apparently already had their "audit" and bank accounts verify they had more than their Tether, but not clear if this amount was in bank accounts during the time they printed Tether. Just during the date of inspection. Doesn't mean anything to me though.
9960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: June 24, 2018, 08:32:46 AM
I'm a teeny bit worried, but only for the short term. I still have to sell a few coins every now and then for living and eating, but I earn a part time job so that covers most things. I am of course happy the bull hasn't arrived yet and because every dip just means the bull will be a lot stronger when it comes. Just of course wish I have more capital during these lows. But yeah, excited that good times are still long away.
