9961  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: August 01, 2017, 07:45:12 PM
It's profitable only if you invest a lot of money in it otherwise would be waste of time and money
You do not need a lot because a decent amount is already a good start when choosing to invest in a casino.
We already know it's profitable so we also have that patience because it needs time to increase our investment, it's not an overnight success.
I will also agree with you about the gambling sites. Though there is a great risk on gambling sites, the chances of profit are also bigger. We can get rich within short time. Gambling mostly depends on luck. You don’t need specific strategies to win on gambling sites. All you need is to pray for your good luck.

There is a qualifying statement about getting rich quickly when in terms of investing to online casinos that accept third party investors like us. We can get rich litteraly if we invest very big amount of money as a little house profit means a big gain for you when you invested big - but the risk is getting higher though.

You also risking your huge amount if you're investing a huge amount in any casino bankrolls because this is high risk and reward investment. Like how you can make profit similarly you may also lose very big amount if someone wins a big amount. If you're ready to take that risk then better diversify your funds instead of keeping all your funds in any single casino bankroll to reduce your losses.
Right. The only rule in such kind of investment is to not put all eggs in the same basket. If the amount of planned investment is big better to share it between some casinos, this way is going to be more safe.

It depends. If you invest in a large casino which has millions in its bankroll then its fairly safe, unless the site is somehow hacked or it leaks the provably seeds.

However if you invest in a newer site, then you are at risk because a large portion of your investemsnt will be used for each roll pretty much and with enough variance, some whale can completely clean out the site; like it happened in the past with many small sites.

Some guy basically took the entire BTC lending  with his 3000 BTC loan demand at 5% (max rate) on Poloniex.

Crazy!

Half a million dollars in interest per day !
9963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 01, 2017, 09:38:50 AM
So basically after the fork just send all your BTC to yourself and you should be 100% safe from any future replay protection on both coins correct?
9964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: August 01, 2017, 09:06:47 AM
Finally I can test and confirm that AMD has fixed the issue with slowdown at high DAG epochs for Vega/Polaris/Fiji cards. They are going to release new drivers in a few days.

Great news! Can't wait to see 30mh/s again.

I cannot understand what exactly makes you happy!?
You will get 5% increase in hash-rate but the difficulty will go up 10-15%, so you will lose 10% on profitability!
Take a note of your earnings now and then and update us later on your feeling Smiley

Well, diff is already up...

lol yup! Nearly 100 points up in 24 hours. Makes me wish I had bought more cloud mining in 2015 Cheesy Cheesy

How does cloud mining get away from a difficulty?

It doesn't. Its sold on Hashpower and a year ago it was much cheaper than it is today because ETH was like $5 last year.
9965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Huge coins earned per month drop on: August 01, 2017, 09:05:31 AM
I know im fairly new and that diff is rising a lot and also that ice age is present but, didnt they said smth about delaying ice age as pos is delayed also?

Also, i made rigs more like a hobbie and to get deeper i to cryptos. I have other cash incomes and i understand profitability will be lower and lower but just wanted to know what happened.

I started 2 months ago.

They will delay ice age but at the same time reduce the ETH block rewards...

Basically they don't like miners which keep selling ETH and lowering the price of ETH.
9966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DAG DEFENDERS - Bios Mods/Tweaks - SURVIVE BEYOND DAG 138! on: August 01, 2017, 09:02:30 AM
So you are an expert in mining and bios modding but are completely new to Bitcoins so hence your "Newbie" account?
9967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: August 01, 2017, 08:45:13 AM
Where does it say POS will start with Metropolis? Isn't POS hybrid going to start in Serenity/Casper at end of 2017, first quarter 2018?

My understanding is the Metropolis release will begin the move to POS. That was the point of the difficulty bomb leading up to it.

All I heard was that Metropolis will have no Hybrid POS but instead they will reduce the ETH issusance rate to match the difficulty bomb rate.

So extend difficulty bomb another 6 months or so but if block times are 30 seconds make the ETH reward 2.5 ETH per block and make blocktimes 15 seconds again.

But even now, its still unclear which plan will be final with the release.

As stated in the dev meeting, the block times will be over 30 seconds by September and closer to 45 seconds by November. Somewhere around 3 ETH is what was discussed as the block reward change. The difficulty bomb retarget  will make it unprofitable to mine much sooner unless they diffuse the bomb or lower the block times before it was planned, at the same time they release Metropolis.

I do not worry about the block time. As long as the block reward is 5, that is fine with me.

The block time is actually connected with the difficulty with ETH, its not like Bitcoin.

When block time is double, reward is constant, your earnings are cut in half.
9968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DAG DEFENDERS - Bios Mods/Tweaks - SURVIVE BEYOND DAG 138! on: August 01, 2017, 08:40:30 AM
SCAM!!!!!

Also next week or so AMD will release drivers that will fix the DAG slowdown... for free.
9969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why huge ETH network difficulty jump today? 7/31/2017 on: August 01, 2017, 03:45:08 AM
There are no asics. Its just organic growth.

Every 100,000 difficulty bomb readjusts.
9970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 01, 2017, 12:28:12 AM
Anyone here manage to secure a BTC loan on Poloniex? Seems there are no BTC to lend anymore
9971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 31, 2017, 11:53:22 PM
Amazing news, thanks! Quick question - am I understanding correctly that 17.7.2 does not yet contain the hashrate drop fix, which is coming in the next driver release in a few days. And that is a separate matter than the next release of Claymore Miner that you're working on, which will add Vega support and fix management for driver versions 17.7.2 going forward. Thus, to mine with Polaris without hashrate drop and full management ability, you need both the next AMD driver release and next Claymore miner?

Upcoming version supports Vega and fan management for latest drivers, so the only thing you need is to wait a couple of days for new drivers from AMD.

Can we expect to be back in the ranage of 29-30Mh/s with these drivers ?

Add 1.5MH/s to whatever you are getting now.
9972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 31, 2017, 07:16:59 PM
Finally I can test and confirm that AMD has fixed the issue with slowdown at high DAG epochs for Vega/Polaris/Fiji cards. They are going to release new drivers in a few days.

Any idea if they fixed this issue for Tahiti GPUs?

I remember Epoch #1 or so hashed at like 28MH/s with the R9 280X. Would be benefitial if they fixed it for that GPU also.

Same with the Pitcairn, Epoch #1 hashed at like 20MH/s with the R9 270X.

With the driver fix, if r9 280 issue is indeed the same as Polaris then a driver hack would be sufficient if AMD does not do it. I do not expect AMD to give a fix for the r7 or r9 series. AMD will only fix Polaris cause they are still selling it as rx 580.

They should still support their older chipsets. They still make drivers for the 7XXX/2XX/3XX series cards.

The 6XXX they dropped about 2 years ago.

Well to be honest, by law they did nothing wrong. And this is a simply fact. For EU laws what they did is legal.

Also I can't understand why their topic is still active...

No idea what EU laws are exactly but I am pretty sure they have a law against trademarks.

If I open up a store called "Applee" and try to sell cell phone and computers, you don't think I am breaking any laws?
9975  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: July 31, 2017, 08:29:42 AM
Hey guys,

I just wanted to make a statement about “Bitcoin Cash” BTCC because everyone has been asking about it.

Primedice does not support UAHF, aka Bitcoin Cash.  Users who would like to hold UAHF coins should withdraw their bitcoin from Primedice by July 31, as we will continue to use BTC.

Thank you for informing us MICRO! I will leave my coins on Primedice and observe what will be the outcome of the event on Aug.1
This is reassuring for us members of the Primedice community.

But why you want to keep bitcoins in primedice? Because if you hold these coins in any of the desk top wallets then you may bet BBC coin in case it splits and you can sell BBC coins and still you will have your bitcoins to play again after one or two days. I think it is better to store your coins get these bonus coins. This is just my opinion.

Honestly, I am pretty sure 99% of all Bitcoin people have no idea what is going to happen on Aug 1st.

There are many new comers that they have no idea even how BTC itself works. That's why most people are keeping their BTC on exchanges like Coinbase because they have no idea how to even receive a BTC payment or send BTC with Bitcoin core software.

Well, I got a response from their sales team.

I asked them give more details regarding their hack. Don't you think if i play for whole day i can make 1440$ +?
And most important why are you selling if you have anything like that?

Below is what they replied:
Quote
Hi Dear,

Thanks for contacting us. Please find details regarding your queries.

First of all, its not a hack actually; it's a casino kit which consist of auto bot and RNG(Random Number Generator) simulator. Our bot basically analyses the betting pattern by feeding bets to RNG simulator which later decodes the RNG patterns and automatically suggests the next possible outcome. Algorithm used to place bets and decode bet patterns cannot be disclosed due to integrity issues.

Bot operates in two modes namely manual and auto. In manual mode, user has to place the bet manually like you normally play in casinos. In auto mode, bot takes over the control over everything and places bets on your behalf based on possible outcomes.

Regarding can i play whole day? Answer is straight No. We have specially designed sessions of 12-17 minutes using random function. So you can only use our hack upto maximum 6 times in a day for 12-17 minutes duration. This is kept as part of anti-cheat detection mechanism to portray that user is a genuine player. Also you can anytime manually override bot during game play but it may have complications.

Now the most important question Why are we selling it? You might have noticed that our kit offers 'HIRE PROFESSIONAL' feature where one of our support staff plays on behalf of original player and all the winnings are shared in 50:50 ratio. By far we have sold 107 copies of kit and out of them 52 people are using "HIRE PROFESSIONAL" feature and you can imagine our stake.

Other than that to add more confidence for new users, we offer Installments options as well, where users can buy HCO Kit by paying amount in multiple installments. If you are interested in purchasing the kit, you can request a quote from us.

Let us know in case of any concerns.

Regards,
HCO's Sales Team

Any thoughts now? I just sent him another query regarding can you show demo of your hack, some videos etc, something like that. Let's see what they reply.

Basically they are trying to lure people who have no idea how a dice site calculates the rolls.

The rolls are determined by the hashing and with a increment nonce, you have a server seed, client seed and with every roll you have usually a nonce that keeps increasing.

You know the hashed seed ahead of time, and after you are done betting, you can check if you were cheated.

If this site actually found a way to crack SHA256 or SHA512, then not only are these casinos in trouble but the entire world is in trouble.

Its a scam
9977  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fortunejack delaying payments on: July 30, 2017, 10:07:01 AM
I've haven't had any issues with withdraws. If your account is NEW or if you are trying to withdraw to a new BTC address or you have a large withdraw then it might need to be manually approved.

Check your spam filter in your email, sometimes they email you to confirm if the withdraw you made was actually you.
9978  Economy / Gambling / Re: Paradice.io phishing Primedice users on: July 30, 2017, 10:05:40 AM
At the beginning of the emergence I'm not sure about paradice.io and i do not need to find out more about their site, i will leave it as soon as possible. This thread really made me feel lucky to have left them quickly.
So it is fake site that are you leaving how much are you confirmed about this website like I'm also confused about this website kindly confirm me about this website that I will have information that I will also stay away from these types of website because you know that it is not right so we need some attention to every each single website that we left quickly as possible.

Man, you really need to check your grammer because what you wrote makes no sense what so ever.

The website is not fake, the domain is just a trick to steal potential Primedice customers on their website. Many trademark issues with what they tried to do.
9979  Economy / Gambling / Re: Up to 2X gain opportunity - BTC-E code (USD) liability for Tether (USDT) on: July 30, 2017, 10:03:46 AM
IMHO
it is the very same as a roll of the dice
the only issue is i see snake eyes looking straight at this!
a hard core gambler might take the risk

Yeah seems more of like a 5% or less chance of actually getting your money back now that is seized by the US government. A few hours ago they even started to transfer all the ETH hotwallet to their own.

People "might" get their money back but not anytime soon since apparently most of it belongs to MtGox
9980  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hackcasinosonline.com Has somebody tried this? on: July 30, 2017, 10:02:23 AM
Hey Friends,

Has anybody tried Hackcasinosonline.com? Is it legit or scam? Current offer over their looks interesting but risking that much amount is really risky.

Please help me.
Moderators please forgive me if it's not the right thread to post and help me with same as well.

Regards,
Lonerusher

These are all scams.

Reminds me of those HYIP schemes that seem to look legit.

Basially they got a bunch of transactions showing how someone deposits 1 BTC and 5 minutes later they get 1.5BTC back. And when you check the blockchain, it actually appears on the blockchain but when you try it yourself you get scammed.

They basically just send the coins back and forth to trick you
