While playing on PD I'm trying to understand the provably fair verification code. So far so good, but what I don't understand is that I don't see the 1% house edge in the calculation of the rolls. Am I missing something?

The rolls numbers themselves aren't influenced by the house edge - the 1% edge affects whether your roll number is considered a win or not (ie. The range of values your roll number has to be within for the system to consider it a win.)

The range of values your roll number has to be within for the system to consider it a win.) let me explain with numbers. you will get 2x with chance %49.5 for playing High (here we have 0.5 percentage ) and also you will get 2x for playing low with chance %49.5 ( Here we have 0.5 percentage too) And sum of %1 is total house edge. In short term you will win. but in long term for sure you will lose all.

Hey guys,
I just wanted to make a statement about “Bitcoin Cash” BTCC because everyone has been asking about it.
Primedice does not support UAHF, aka Bitcoin Cash. Users who would like to hold UAHF coins should withdraw their bitcoin from Primedice by July 31, as we will continue to use BTC.
Thank you for informing us MICRO! I will leave my coins on Primedice and observe what will be the outcome of the event on Aug.1 This is reassuring for us members of the Primedice community.

But why you want to keep bitcoins in primedice? Because if you hold these coins in any of the desk top wallets then you may bet BBC coin in case it splits and you can sell BBC coins and still you will have your bitcoins to play again after one or two days. I think it is better to store your coins get these bonus coins. This is just my opinion.

There are many new comers that they have no idea even how BTC itself works. That's why most people are keeping their BTC on exchanges like Coinbase because they have no idea how to even receive a BTC payment or send BTC with Bitcoin core software.

Since Micro has revealed his plan on not support bitcoin cash i am sure the members who are actively rolling will be low as everyone or most of them have withdrawn their coins to get the share of the split. This fork will reduce the profit of all the major gambling markets dealing with bitcoin for sure, since none of the gambling sites are support BCC .

Heads up, PD will be disabling deposits and withdrawals in roughly 3-4 hours from this post due to the bitcoin cash fork. We will bring deposits and withdrawals back up as quickly as soon as this bitcoin fork mess ends, rest assured your bitcoins will be safe. Site will still be available, should be an interesting day

I think you are wrong on this, what I saw here only some big site like primedice and bitsler that do not take part into this. You can see it right away when they said it that they only take time to maintain their deposit and withdrawal address because they believe that altcoin will just make their site chaos. This is what I get from those thing when I found out that primedice also do not take part into this. We never know if bcc is going to rise or not

Did the deposit addqgesses changed or we can still use the old ones? We did not use this opportunity to change wallets. It still might happen depending on how long we have to hold on deposits and withdrawals. Coinbase and poloniex and other major players are still not allowing transactions so we are waiting to see what happens. I think we are already pretty safe to accept deposits but we want to make sure we are 100% safe and ensure our users deposits dont get lost.

How long will it take to settle things and start accepting bitcoin,do we need to wait till the tenth or planning to accept before that,i think the network is stable for now and i really think it is fair to say that things are safe now.
