9961  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰LottoBtc.org💰 | The Global Anonymous Lottery | Win just with 0.00000001BTC! on: June 23, 2018, 07:17:34 PM
I agree. Since you can't pay less than 225 satoshis for a transaction right now if you don't want it stuck in the mempool for indefinite period of time, it would be pretty stupid to buy only one ticket. So, imo it would be better to make the price of one ticket 1k sats. $0.06 is still not a big deal for the participants, but the prize pool can become bigger that way. Also I agree with the above poster that having at least three winners would be better.

Yes you can. You can actually still set very close to zero if you use manual fee, but even if it is set to 1 satoshi/byte like on my wallet, this is actually only 120 satoshi or so. Also, there is an exchange wallet I use that only charges 5 satoshi (but minimum 10,000 satoshi), so yes your point is still valid in that nobody would spend 1 satoshi ticket, unless the purpose is to spam the lottery with 1 satoshi transactions that cost 0 fees (actually, this is possible to do now with the free network).

Ticket price 1 satoshi is fine, it is up to the person how much they want to buy.
9962  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: June 23, 2018, 02:17:12 PM
Just in case any one is wondering if justpoor is a real whale, go look at his other threads. He recently won over 2000 Litecoins at another casino, and it seems they weren't able to pay out as quickly to him as BitDice did on his 100+ Bitcoins!

Do you know any other site that can pay out almost 700k USD instantly? I don't!
I am not here to disagree with you but I don't think that other gambling sites are doing what BitDice is doing which is saying their congratulations everytime there is a big winner who have withdrawn their winnings. Except of course for their on going promotions and they are only posting it for them to announce who the winners are. I don't think other gamblings sites think as big withdrawals as a way of promoting their website in the forum. I may be wrong but that is how I observe it in each Ann Thread of a Gambling Site.

Maybe you misunderstood me as well. I wasn't saying that BitDice is like every other casino... I was actually just pulling attention to the fact that BitDice paid out 100BTC plus plus with no issue. VERY unlike a looot of other sites that happily take big deposits but then can't pay out or make issues with payouts as is the case with justpoor.

What I'm saying here is also that BD continues to show the ability to accommodate both small fish like me and big whales. Fuss free payouts. That is RARE in this industry.
9963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: June 23, 2018, 01:23:32 PM
Stick to the basic idea: hunt for the best criteria to give you the best chances of getting profit. Ultimately, gambling puts you, the player, at a disadvantage, but if you stretch out the timeframe long enough and play to the best of your abilities without emotions, you can stand a chance of getting ahead, and quitting while you're ahead.

So this means:

- lowest edges. Shop around. Huge difference between 1% edge and 2% edge.
- best odds. Shop around. 10 bets with 1% better odds means 11% growth of profits.
- provably fair. Know the bets are fair. Crypto gambling only provides this.
9964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: June 23, 2018, 12:01:03 PM
I like to think people here are saying they are worried about their data falling into the wrong hands with dubious ICOs but then they have no qualms giving away money to these same dubious ICOs.

Myself, I haven't done any KYC for ICOs since the ones I participated in last year didn't have KYC processes. And one that I wanted to strangely didn't accept my documents (turned out not to be a good ICO in the end as they are still unlisted) so I saved myself some problems there.
9965  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-22] Only a Third of the Richest Informed on Bitcoin on: June 23, 2018, 10:01:00 AM
Still sounds like a lot of rich people informed about Bitcoin, if less than 1% of the world knows about it, then we're talking about 33% of the rich that do, so once more the wealthy are the most informed, or they have the most means to find out about it. They're also saying in the article that their fund managers don't inform them or aren't educated enough to advise the risk or knowledge of cryptos. But what happens once they do? Again the 1% of the rich will become even richer.
9966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started! on: June 22, 2018, 04:20:10 PM
If you really, really  think that only Bitcoin buying whales could save Bitcoin and crypto, then you might as well just give up on Bitcoin. When you came into crypto, did you come as a speculator and a trader? Did you believe the whales were all there, waiting for guys like you to enter the market, and then buy up all the Bitcoin so you could become rich?

Face it. This market is normal but you can't handle it. The more people like you give up and sell now, the better.

Your attitude is what is destroying crypto!
The popularity metrics of BTC, etc are very low because of bitches with attitude!

Huh? no... your attitude is destroying yourself and it's not helping the "popularity of metrics for BTC etc". People like you speak doom and gloom when times are bad and then shout When Lambo when times are good. I don't care if this is bad for the market, or whatever, (It's not, nothing you can say or even I can say can affect the market) but for the sake of your own mental health, you have to get a grip of reality.

And if you can't, leave. Enjoy life and things you understand. Crypto is a risk, no question. If you couldn't understand that, stay away. Not for my good or the market, but for your own sake.
9967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 22, 2018, 03:19:49 PM
This is great. I finally made good money today, bet on the exact score of Brazil for 2 -0 and the usual good players popped up in injury time to give me the win. More relief than anything else, because I really didn't want to see Brazil fight for a win in their last game. World Cup Last 16 without Brazil is not something to look forward to.

Costa Rica aren't bad but they deserved no more than the draw, and so should not go through to the next stage.
9968  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SureBet] Surebetting , Arbitrage , Automated Tool , Fast [24h] [Soccer only] on: June 22, 2018, 11:54:17 AM
This is where I always feel, you have several ways to see how this can't possibly be working.

1. If it was, he wouldn't be selling it.
2. If it worked but he wanted to sell it because he wanted to make more, then 100 euros is too high, arbitrage is what maybe 1%, so are we looking at people betting 10,000 euro to get back their investment?

More than half a million entries already? How many individuals are those? Prize pool is 0.0065 so that means the actual prize is only 50k satoshi. I suppose it's not a bad amount for a +EV lottery, or am I missing something out? Where's your profit come from if +EV? I'll send some dust there, only for fun. Never won lotteries before even when I had >50% of tickets.
9971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: June 21, 2018, 06:08:12 PM
Recently I discovered a new crypto currency for online gambling. Zeroedge is a new crypto currency online casino. The unique platform uses its own crypto currency, known as ZeroCoin. The most important thing here is that Zeroedge Casino offers all players a real 0% gaming experience. Zeroedge doesn`t take its profits from the losses of its players. Instead, Zeroedge focuses on making a profit from the rising cost of ZeroCoin, which is increasing due to the demand for the latest games.

Sorry to be harsh but I think we've all seen the zero edge opportunities come and go, and we all know that they can't be sustainable in the long run (heck, even casinos with edges sometimes have to ride out years of non profit before making it to the black again. I know because I have some negative investment somewhere before (no names).

Zero edge, but you already lose fees from exchanges to buy ZeroCoin, and then to convert it out again. Unless the site allows Bitcoin deposits and can convert it 0 fee back and forth, you'll find it hard to get "value" from people only willing to buy and play with zerocoin.
9972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: To all the whales out there, which trading bot software do you use ? on: June 21, 2018, 04:43:00 PM
I think, the question to ask really is: to all the whales, which trading manager do you hire? I think whales are probably too busy to handle their own trades manually, and just give instructions or teach their strategies to managers who trade their funds for them, with strict instructions.

I mean, why waste time earning more when you can pay someone to waste that time while you do more productive things?

9974  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bot trading on Exchanges on: June 21, 2018, 07:02:24 AM
I think all exchanges allow bots, or rather, they all allow automated trading. But of course, any suspicious trading activity, bot or otherwise, will probably be flagged by the system and related account banned/blocked/limited. Especially those bots that put up and take down orders so often, since this eats up server resources. You can be sure even employees run their own bots for automated trading on their own platforms.
With API provisions, I do believe most exchanges are not bothering about their server resources as they are making money with each and every trade. That is the reason most exchanges are loving bots and providing all the needed things to support automated trading.

Other than this, the efficiency of trading bots is more important  before we are choosing a right bot. Because trading bots are nothing but just predetermined program which will react as per the coding hence we cannot be sure about how they will respond to be a completely new market condition. Honestly I'm not recommending anyone to go for bot trading as it may lead to unexpected losses in an unexpected market conditions.

Oh, then you haven't experienced exchanges with low server resources. I remember how it was for Bittrex, I remember how it was for Poloniex when their servers simply got so slow. Bittrex even had to issue their changes several times, announcements like "small orders no longer allowed" or price must be within certain limits of current prices" or even "orders not filled after a certain time will be cancelled". And they admitted this was because of server resources. You think they'll allow bots who make orders like every second for a few Doges?
9975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How transfer my myetherwallet.com's token(ncash) to binance.com on: June 20, 2018, 12:11:59 PM
Man, you really need to understand the basics of using Ethereum before even getting a wallet, otherwise you're never going to get a smooth journey. Your friend sent you this NCASH, why couldn't you just ask him to send you a tiny amount of Ether as well?

Anyway, the good news is you need something less than 0.0001 ETH, I constantly even just send tx with the min gas price for 0.0000021 and it still goes through within 20 hours.

You might as well get a dollar of ETH at least so you can continue to transact tokens.
9976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your favorite ICO and Bounty - June 2018 on: June 20, 2018, 08:55:24 AM
I don't look at ICOs any more, not at least in the past few months, but I was pretty interested in Metronome launched by ex BTC core Jeff Garzik. I mean, the idea of something that sits on any blockchain and can be transferred across blockchains sounds pretty much like something I'd really like. The ICO is also a seven day one only, with prices going down the longer you wait. Maybe 3 more days and I'll dive in with a bit of ETH.

9978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 20, 2018, 07:46:47 AM
I've been using a new system a just started for this year's World Cup, but I haven't posted any of the plays.

So far, I am up a little less than 2 units but I honestly think my strategy may be on the radar of the bookies as I've noticed some adjustment in juice,

Nonetheless, there have already been some major upsets in this year's World Cup and at this point it's anyone's tournament.

Nah, come on, bookies don't have time to monitor individual "systems", especially for sports and especially for something big like the World Cup. Trust me, they get a lot of volume in these plays especially during group stages with so many teams in there. You're right though, anyone betting on upsets so far should be making a lot of money. I have been very cautious though, and as a result losing a lot of bets. Yet am still too scared to go on the upset results.
9979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling can effect the economy of a country [Part 3 - Australia] on: June 20, 2018, 05:00:55 AM
I really had no idea gambling made up so much of taxation in this continent, thank you for the read. I wonder if 7.7% of gambling tax is worth legalization, though, when you also see that tax money has gone towards gambling rehabilitation and development in poorer areas where addiction is also a problem. It would seem to me the 7% would become even less (but I do not know since I don't have the stats). As Hydrogen says, there is also a social and cultural impact, which could be important to research even as they have economic values.
9980  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: June 19, 2018, 12:56:58 PM
Now I know it's too soon to think the bull is finally here, but after a week of poor price, I can see Bitcoin now picking up some momentum to head upwards. Will it breach $7k? I think a big yes is almost on my mind. Will it stay there? I'm 50/50. I think the temptation to take quick 10% gains from this week for people who bought in at $6100 will be to great.

In other words, buy now if you haven't already, before 7k is taken.
