1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Yobit on: May 25, 2017, 06:51:37 PM
I tried going back to Bitcoin, but it stays in "reserved in orders". I just want to cash out and be done with them.
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit scammed his clients - no withdrawal - no support - no nothing on: May 25, 2017, 02:46:31 PM
We have > 900 coins now and we know about issues with withdrawals on some coins.

New servers for wallets cluster ready, in the next 2 weeks we'll try to fix a lot of stucked coins.
We bring our apologies.

What about fixing the DIME wallet?

I was trying to buy RDD I had my order in and pending, but it wasn't going through.  I opened a ticket asking what to do and was told I needed to cancel my order.  During that time the price went up nearly 20%.  I was trying to figure out what to do and was told "What do you want us to do?"  when asking about how this could be resolved other than cancelling the order.

I also bought DIME, but I can't sell it and can't transfer it.  The price has gone up 9x.  Why would they let you buy a coin they don't support the wallet for anymore?

The current fastest and cheapest transaction fee is 420 satoshis/byte according to bitcoinfees.21.co (while you only paid 155 satoshis/byte) so Its probably a fee issue, your transaction will take sometime but eventually get confirmed and you will see it in your account as completed so no, there is nothing to be worried about.

As for the second problem, Poloniex should give you the TXID so you should show it to the Livecoin support. Livecoin is somehow a new exchange so I'm going to assume that the problem is either coming from them or you sent the funds to the wrong address.

That's good to hear, although I did not know about this part.  What can I do in the future to prevent this from happening?

I have a ticket with Poloniex and it is "being processed" so hopefully they can assist.  I check my Livecoin wallet address to where I sent funds from Poloniex and they match.

Thank you!

You can't do much for the fees issue because you are sending from one exchange to another and not from a wallet that you own. Wallets usually give you the ability to change the fees or set a priority (normal, high etc.) In order to get your transaction confirmed in a small period of time, exchanges however, don't let you do that.

That's unfortunate.  Thank you, though.

Where did you send it ? Pending ? What do you mean ? You need to check the blockchain not what the site is saying. I have a feeling you made a deposit on a HYIP site.

How many BTC did you send what amount was the fee and what wallet did you use and what website is this. If you need help you going to have to give more info than that.

I'm really only worried about what was sent to Livecoin from Poloniex.  I had asked this elsewhere and this is what I have.

About 18 hours ago I transferred from Poloniex to Livecoin yesterday.  On Poloniex it shows that the transaction is completed, but according to Livecoin's support team there was no transaction made to my wallet.  I have contacted Poloniex, but what can I do for this one?

You got 2 confirmations already. I don't know how many confirmations required at Livecoin  but if it is like btc-e you'll get your coins when you got another confirmation probably. Blockchain is a bit loaded today, as soon as you get another confirmation your balance will be updated don't worry.

Well, this literally just happened because there was no trace of it before.  Good news, thanks!

About 18 hours ago I submitted a deposit to Yobit from Poloniex.  Since then it has shown as "awaiting deposit" on Yobit.  I contacted Yobit's support and was told "Wait 2 confirmations".  It's my impression that this should only take a few hours at most.  Is this something to worry about?

I made two deposits into two different wallets on different sites yesterday.  One is still downing as pending and the other one doesn't even show up as pending where I sent it.

What is going on that it is taking so long and in one case I can't even see where one is?  is this normal?
