1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Walleting.Services] AUTOMATED Bitcoin Gold Electrum 2FA Extraction + BCD + SBTC on: January 13, 2018, 03:08:19 PM
I was a little hesitant to hand over my private keys, of course, but I had given up on getting BCD and SBTC out of my segwit addresses.  These guys did it speedy fast, in less than 24 hours, and just as agreed. Thanks!!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for 2018 that is very cheap now? on: January 11, 2018, 10:02:45 PM
There's no rationality in the crypto market right now.  I don't know how anyone can find any real logic in the price movement of any particular coin.

$1M is a nice fantasy, but it's still a fantasy.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is there a way to enforce Anti-Money Laundering laws? on: September 15, 2017, 11:11:20 PM
I'm just thinking about whether the US could adapt its regulations to fit a Bitcoin future.

Has there been any discussion that someone could point me to about whether and how the US could still enforce AML rules with Bitcoin?  Or is it impossible?

or consolidate

Sorry, kinda new to this. What do you mean by "consolidate" in this context?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Just think of how bored we'd all be if BTC wasn't doing anything. on: September 14, 2017, 10:50:45 PM
What makes rollercoasters fun is the rises, dips, falls, twists and turns. Anything less and... well that's really more of a train.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency should I invest in with 50 USD? on: September 14, 2017, 01:59:31 PM
If you really want exponential growth at this point you'd have to choose something more obscure, and accept that the most likely result is that your $50 turns into $0.50.

If you just want growth without an expectation of 10,000% returns, then go mainstream--BTC, ETH, LTC.

That is quite a bold claim. Do you have any hard evidence for devs keeping the price down?

How would devs keep the price down to begin with?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / RX580 Availability? on: September 13, 2017, 10:45:59 PM
Hey all,

I purchased some (regular priced) RX580s from three different online retailers back in mid-June.  It's been about three months and they all say they have no stock to ship. Has anyone seen or heard anything about when these cards should start coming back into retailer inventory?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening again? The market is looking all red! on: September 13, 2017, 10:15:54 PM

I know how you feel but don't make your emotions as an echo of your actions and decisions. Think much better way to calm yourself down or don't look at the chart so often. Goodluck brother.

Yeah, far and away, I made the most money from my crypto during the year-plus that I wasn't looking at the price and had pretty much completely forgotten about it.  Now that I'm aware and monitoring the price, I start making stupid decisions.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / EthOS - core/ptune settings - are these maximums? on: June 29, 2017, 08:04:59 PM
Hi all,

I feel like this is a really basic question but I can't find the answer anywhere.  Are the core speed and ptune settings in EthOS maximums, as opposed to specific targets?  I notice that my cards are frequently running at core speeds and powertune levels that are (sometimes significantly) lower than what I set in the config.  I haven't really noticed the same thing for gpu clock speeds, though.  I'm trying to understand why that would be the case.

Thanks!
