The Team promoted that they were releasing Major News - please look at Reddit, FluffyPony's Twitter etc. 

It is better to have the discussion here where people come for info about Monero. They need to know about the idiots on the Monero Team and the complete disregard they have for those that invest, mine and support Monero.  That little gimmick will not be brushed under the rug.

Monero price is almost lower now than a week ago and I suspect it will continue to fall.  There are several of us that are also contacting the major exchanges to see about getting it delisted.  Most respectable exchanges do not want to be associated with this type of behavior.  But do not worry, Yobit and C-Cex will most likely keep it on.

NO ICO - it will be a Fair Mining Start announced in Advance.  The technology in Monero is Great, unfortunately the dumbass' think it is funny when a lot of people lose money.

Do some research, they promoted a big announcement knowing there wasn't one.   

I see you promote Monero.  Well when the "Team" makes a false announcement to Pump up the price and drop their holdings it takes away from the project. The statement "Monero is still the best private, fungible currency." is also an Open Source Project and it can be cloned and be " the best private, fungible currency" WITHOUT the Fat Fuck Scammer attached to it.

If there is a Monero Classic already we can rename this one at launch.  Still getting my ducks in a row.

It was a bullshit announcement by the Monero Team to pump up the price to drop bombs on everyone.

The stunt pulled today by the Monero Crew is unacceptable.  This coin will be launched as a protest to Monero for all of those that got screwed by them today.  The sole purpose of the Monero Classic coin will be to get Monero delisted from the Major Exchanges and to provide people who like the tech but hate Monero a safe alternative.
