As a previous miningpoolhub maniac and lover, i am sad to leave this pool, as nothing exciting is happening anymore. Frontend is old, loads of problems with the pools. I will be going to https://whalesburg.com/ at least the devs are present on their telegram chat all day and the bugs are most of the time fixed almost instantly. Too bad this pool never went as far as i wanted it to go. |

Mr claymore, for the past month i am using your latest miner to mine ethash and keccak on nicehash. Everything was working ok, until july 7th, where the keccak shares started bouncing. I contacted nicehash and their support replied this : Hello! I suggest you disable dual mining with Keccak at the moment. We found out it has something to do with Claymore miner. Please, open issue on GitHub regarding this matter where NHM Legacy developers will help you: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMinerLegacy/issues Kind regards, NiceHash Team What actually happened ? Hello mr claymore.
Running your latest 11.8 version , and i have -wd 0 and -r -1 but some of my machines restart and i cant troubleshoot them because of this.
I dont know if its 1 riser or 10, what i need is watchdog to not reboot the machine so i know how to fix it.
Care to please tell me whats up ?
Running smos an all my machines.

Can you explain what the Powersaving and what the OC and UV tabs do on your 2.2 ?
I only have sapphire nitros, 570s and 580s 8gb all of them.
Also the micron straps on your program, might make the microns run fast, but you cannot reboot the rigs, they crash, i need to use old pbe 1.6.7 straps to make them work correctly.
I use SMOS only, no windows.

how about that? I will release new version in 1-3 days. Mr. Claymore, dual mining keccak with my rx580's i have found something interesting. While mining b2s the dcri has to go from 40-57 for max results and we had a lot of play for fine tuning, with keccak, i find that 8 is a bit too much on the power consuming, and 7 is a little bit to low. Can i do something to alleviate that ? i dont think a 7,5 value will work right ? |

Seriously, our hashrates are going down, what is happening with the pool?
Currently mining ethereum, its down to 60% than what it is normally, and to everyone i asked as well.

Mr claymore, your linux miner on both google drive and mega, is an older miner and not the 11.0 one.
It's a good idea to update all files when you migrate to new version, not just executable or a few files. But i did update all the files, not just a few. On the reload of the miner, its still an old miner. It happens to all my rigs. |

In zpool.ca it says "YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field that matches your wallet address: c=<SYMBOL>. The pool has mined hundreds of different coins and many have the same address version. We CAN NOT read your mind and possible know what currency you want. If no c=<SYMBOL> is set, your currency will be randomly chosen from any matching coins we have used. This HAS TO BE A REAL EXCHANGE SYMBOL. Do not use a symbol that has an <ALGO> added. Such as XVG-blake2s or AUR-sha or DGB-skein, these are ALL WRONG. These are used only for the pool to support multi-algo coins." so c=XVG-blake2s seems to be wrong what should we put? c=XVG |

With the b2s dual, you guys need to be careful with your psu's they might explode. The current is definitely going up.

When v10.2 added " now miner supports up to #299 epoch.", what's the highest DAG supported by previous versions? Does anyone know? I've got a stable setup with v10.1, I'd rather not update until absolutely necessary.
If your setup is stable, the new miner wont make it unstable, update to 10.6 |

Some things just can't happen. I found a reddit post that seems legit, which explains that: Ethereum is memory intensive and mining is bottlenecked by the memory speed, while the compute units are waiting on the memory it uses those cycles to mine the second currencyThat "second currency" was based on Blake algorithm -which now has ASICs available-. What you imagine as "some other coins to dual mine" would be of another algorithm, lets say CryptoNight for example. As far as I know, CryptoNight is memory intensive (just like Ethhash) and there is only room for one memory intensive coin per card. All of the above is my personal understanding, do not take it for granted. That is right. We cannot mine the DCR and SIA soon.
That depends on your electricity cost. In my case (I have very expensive electricity, 0.3$/kwH) I have already stopped dual mining Maybe you misread, i never said we can mine cryptonight and ethash together. This is why i said he must find out other coins to be mined. |
