1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Las Vegas coin. Masternode cost only $560!! Only 370,000 coins total! on: May 14, 2018, 10:11:36 PM
Should we try and contact coinmarketcap.com again for a listing? Maybe things have calmed down a bit and they have time to add us.

If they still require us to have more trading volume, we should consider trading around a bit ourselves. We could organize here to put some Buy and Sell Orders closely together in the orderbook and then Buy and Sell a few times. It would cost us almost nothing if we manage to do trades  basically in the middle of the Bid/Ask Spread.

Hey, Thanks Woody!

Just downloaded and tried it out, opened just fine.
I will know if this wallet fixes power outages, really pain in the ars***
But it does happen every now and then. At least it is not Orbit!
Wallet shuts down and you lose all of your coins. At least that happened
to me. Files hides somewhere on ones computer, never did find it.

Peace, Dennis

No one looses coins from power outages. Just search for the files in the %appdata folder. Also you should always always backup your wallet.dat
In case you don't find the coin files, because you saved them in a custom folder, you can still reinstall everything and use your backed up wallet.dat

decided to open my wallet and no more coins. Then I realized the computer I used wasn't updated. My point is every wallet link on the op didn't show me I had coins. Went to my computer that I know had a working wallet and sure enough I had coins in the wallet.

Maybe double check the links as for me this one is working  VGS Core version v2.0.0.0-gcbcb549 (32-bit) build date Tue, 9 Feb 2016 16:54:57 -0500
Still haven't staked anything as 10 coins probably does me no good  plus I don't keep this wallet on 24/7 as I think this was the only coin that required it.
Was their a working explorer? OP the right one?
Was it safe to move bought coins to wallet from coinexchange .io ?

Other than that how is everyone doing....

First of all. Use the newest wallet. If you are missing coins, try repairwallet. Staking only 10 coins needs patience till it pays and only with the newest wallet of course. The links are correct and if you are running the newest wallet, it's absolutely safe to withdraw from coinexchange.
Go to the first page of this thread to see the link to the explorer.

According to my calculations the inflation should be OK and the idea overall is great! Hope it will work! I just think that the jackblocks appear too often to be really something rare and special? More than every second block will give special rewards. What about taking out the 2x 40% rewards completely? Then still every third blockreward will be "special"

Difficult to tell you why your mn sometimes stops working, without seeing what you put into the conf.
Your question regarding "insufficient funds" is easy to answer, though. When you start your mn, the 250k coins gets locked so that they can't be spent accidentially while the mn is running. Solution is to enable "Coin Control" in the wallet options and go to "send" and click on "Inputs". You can then unlock the 250k and sent them.

It's a pity that these haters cannot be just deleted. I can only recommend to new users not to listen to it. You might miss out on a great investment opportunity...

The idea is so cool! Vegas, can we get this coin on coinmarketcap.com in the meantime or do they first require a webpage to get listed? Can we help somehow?

There is a command called: setstakesplitthreshold=xxx
I think it should work here too. Type that into console and set it to 200. Then it will stop splitting your stakes when the pile would go below 200.

Casinodes are a great idea! Very unique! I very much like the idea of the jackblocks, but I think the probabilities should be reduced a lot to make them really rare and special. Also remember the inflationary effect.
In the meantime I would like to see us getting listed on coinmarketcap.com which seems to be a prerequisite for listings on masternode comparison websites. Vegas, you said that you already applied?
Also we should start a telegram channel or discord chat. That would make it easier talk about the coin and to invite new users. Sorry for so many wishes ;-)

Don't check the box when you unlock the wallet. Make sure it is fully synced and then unlock. After one minute the symbol bottom right should change its colour and say staking active.

I think we need to get existing exchanges fixed. Thats the easiest and cheapest way. ;-) I opened a ticket and kindly asked them to fix it. Maybe it helps.
In the meantime lets start a telegram group or other types of channels where we can discuss the coin and invite new people to.
Also we need to get listed on coinmarketcap properly.
