1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Concerns for Bitconnect on: September 20, 2017, 07:44:43 PM
so bit connect had a slight hiccup a few weeks ago with some bug that allowed people to make off with some money that didn't belong to them. other than this incident which may not have been very bad if some people did indeed return some of the ill gotten funds, the company has been running smoothly. with an average daily interest rate of close to 1% why hasn't the market become larger? just curious about some concerns that someone might have for a company that can literally turn 100$ to 1000000$ with compounding interest cause i think it just might be with the risk
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First to reach 1 Trillion $ on: June 01, 2017, 02:45:51 AM
Ethereum is a good platform but none of these altcoins can pass Bitcoin, they can't even reach half of Bitcoin size. Bitcoin will be the first 1 trillion dollar marketcap project. When that time comes we can talk about billion dollar Ethereum marketcap though. At the same time it's possible that we have flying cars and colonized people in Mars.
Ethereum is already over the 50% market value of bitcoin....
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Minexcoin on: May 30, 2017, 08:08:29 PM
anyone heard anything on this project? it has some unrealistic returns on its ICO in terms of bonus % paid out but everything else seems legit, and a pretty good project of it truly isn't a scam ICO
4  Economy / Service Discussion / GigaWatt on: May 30, 2017, 07:02:25 PM
Will this company be able to produce a market for effective mining? ICO starts in three days and the project's white papers detail a good plan in theory if the price of the mining doesn't change
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO are you watching next? for me BAT, TEZOS and STATUS on: May 30, 2017, 06:55:48 PM
Bancor protocol
anyone know when the ICO will start?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO are you watching next? for me BAT, TEZOS and STATUS on: May 30, 2017, 06:25:34 PM
bancor and Minexcoin are two great projects that look pretty good
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / First to reach 1 Trillion $ on: May 30, 2017, 06:16:17 PM
honestly i believe that it will be an alt coin that surpasses bitcoin that reaches 1 trillion first, Ethereum maybe?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the alt bubble pop? on: May 30, 2017, 06:08:11 PM
It's ridiculous how Ethereum keeps going up, when will it stop?

Also isn't Litecoin undervalued at this point? Does this mean we are closer than ever to get segwit in Bitcoin?

How stupid is the altcoin market with all those coins going green all the time?

Will it correct son and we'll get all that capital going back to Bitcoin?
honestly ethereum's platform is better suited for overall market expansion because of smart contracts and such. Ethereum just passed 50% of bitcoins market cap and shouldn't stop as more projects open up on its platform
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bancor on: May 30, 2017, 05:51:42 PM
anyone else read up on this project? I think it can drastically increase the demand for more currency than just bitcoin helping the overall market beyond bitcoin aka other alt coins. I think the ICO starts in the next day or two
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the scaling issue* be solved? on: May 30, 2017, 05:45:10 PM
i mean how long can the debate last? or is it just gonna keep popping back up into discussion

Sometimes I wonder what is more annoying , to wait 8 hours for a confirmation or to read everyday 8 threads about the scaling issues and the segwit war.

My personal stance is right now...live with it.
If it's going to be solved it going to someday.
If not , nothing I can do about it.It won't be the end of this world because of that

Shouldn't the lightning and segwit solutions be tested more thouroghly before we could see these as a good solution to scaling

see litecoin
the system capacity isn't being pushed nearly enough to show if segwit and lightning are gonna be effective i believe
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the scaling issue* be solved? on: May 30, 2017, 02:17:34 PM
I think the both sides are already done with arguing on the scaling issue of bitcoin and based on the rumor that i heard, the winner is the bitcoin core team which they will apply segwit first and it will add some size for the blocks which is just like what happened in litecoin and it will make transactions faster and it will provide cheaper fees.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 30, 2017, 03:13:53 AM
Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?
No it wont, knowing the fact that most governments on entire globe is still have negative impressions about bitcoin and making it as a conventional money doesn't fit on the criteria since its just a digital currency and making a physical would not make any sense considering the entire supply of 21 Million BTC would not  really be sufficient on a particular place or globally.
technically a bitcoin can be broken down into 1 million shatoshi's so there would be a supply of 21 trillion shatoshi's available for trade when mining rewards end
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Exceeding Bitcoin on: May 30, 2017, 02:54:13 AM
If Bitcoin can't fix the scaling issue then the future of cryptocurrency will be something else that exceeds bitcoin. Are there any ICO's that we should get excited about as a possible bitcoin replacement? I've read the white papers on minexcoin and while skeptical of the numbers, it seems like a forward thinking idea. Also any idea where to find information on new and upcoming projects?
