anyone else read up on this project? I think it can drastically increase the demand for more currency than just bitcoin helping the overall market beyond bitcoin aka other alt coins. I think the ICO starts in the next day or two

Yeah it may end up helping the general market more than its own investors. A large number of ETH is already going to end up locked up in BNT alone. Thats the equivalent of a decrease in supply.
