2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We ARE under attack.. we NEED to act... on: July 10, 2015, 03:46:56 PM
It's game over, guys. The powers the be want Bitcoin gone. I've found out that this isn't being done by some one off random hacker dude somewhere messing around trying to cause some chaos. This is a coordinated effort by some of the largest and most powerful financial entities in the world to destabilize the network and ruin bitcoin for good. The bitcoin "community" has no options available for stopping this from happening. This is an ant vs a lion type battle. They have billions of dollars - transaction fees are inconsequential. They have millions of servers and  personnel. Cash out your bitcoins into fiat now before it's too late as this is just a warmup for a longer more broad attack that shall fell bitcoin. It was obvious this day would come do you really think the fiat complex would actually let bitcoin become a threat to their dominance? a decentralized currency means no one has ultimate control. Humans won't accept not being able to control the masses.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take the money and run is the Bitcoin way! on: February 18, 2015, 10:14:30 PM
Just face it, Bitcoins security issues are too much to overcome in the long term. 95% of exchanges that come into existence end with all their coins being stolen. And most average everyday people aren't smart IT professionals and won't be able to secure their computers from theft. The norm will be cyber criminals installing programs on the average Joes computer and stealing all their coins which will prevent mass adoption of Bitcoin as a major currency. And unlike with fiat people won't get their money back. Bitcoin transactions can't be reversed. If your bank account gets hacked you might get all your money back, with Bitcoin there is no one to reimburse you. I don't see how Bitcoins could even be insured because of how transactions work. How could someone prove their coins were stolen instead of being sent from their wallet as a legitimate transaction? they can't. Computer networks are prone to being compromised and that's what Bitcoin lives on. You can't use Bitcoin without it going through a computer network. And people are always looking for ways to steal money, and Bitcoin is a prime target. It's anonymous and has no legal standing which makes it even worse. I also believe that at some people some super genius will be able to reverse engineer private keys  and/or understand the blockchain on a level which allows them to flat out steal coins. At this point It's way too hard to even keep bitcoin without it getting stolen. I do not think this will change because our internet networks are what they are, unless they are rebuilt from the ground up there is nothing you can do. I believe this will lead to the demise of cryptocurrency.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depressed that I was not an early adopter on: November 30, 2013, 12:56:41 AM
I had 2 btc I bought for $12 but sold them for $20.  Embarrassed
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: $ 1.000 on: November 27, 2013, 03:22:42 PM
I am pissed right now, I bought 5 bitcoins for $12 and sold at $24 for a double because I needed the money because I'm poor. If I could've held them that would be %5,000 now. Life sucks.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Pudding Coin (PDC) on: May 11, 2013, 04:40:59 AM
Every alt coin is as pointless as this. No real world value or purpose.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] New alt coin generator on: May 07, 2013, 05:17:27 AM
I was thinking you really created this. Someone does need to really do it, seriously. Then people will go crazy trying to make new coins and this whole clone coin bubble will come to an end. I would make it myself if I could. Actually no I wouldn't I would just make my own coin, premine it, promote it, then dump my coins. If someone wants to sell me something like this, pm me.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with value of Alts today? on: May 07, 2013, 02:40:37 AM

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTC die ? on: May 06, 2013, 03:44:56 PM
You made a mistake, you missed the train. ftc was a pump and dump. You have become a bagholder. The value will keep going down and you will never be able to break even since you bought at .0048. Sell now before it goes down more.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 324 BTE on: May 06, 2013, 03:03:13 AM

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about SCAMS on: May 05, 2013, 03:58:49 PM
Alot of these new alt-coins are scams because they are just a clone of litecoin with a new name, and their only purpose is to make the creators rich because they early mined tons of coins and will dump them when the coin gets on an exchange.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: scam warning: FoundNemo, limitless and btcmank on: May 03, 2013, 11:45:25 PM
Why wouldn't you think you would get scammed? you know how the human species is. People will do anything to get what they want. Of course your gonna get scammed if you depend on trusting someone. This applies everywhere in life.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That's it, I've lost hope in the future of crypto currencies... on: May 03, 2013, 11:43:48 PM
I agree with everything the OP said. Cryptocurrency is supposed to be a way to have a currency free of government control and regulation that can be used legitimately to buy and sell. This whole clone a coin thing going on now is nothing more then people trying to get rich quick quick and then move on. The greed is killing cryptocurrency.

Can someone who has the skills (I'm not a coder) finally make a coin creation tool kit?

I'm thinking of something where you just have enter Name, Blocktime, Coins per block, Halving each x Blocks, Sha- or Scrypt Mining press enter and there is your very own Altcoin.

Something like this would hopefully show even the last guy the ridiculousness of this.

Is this feasible? Should we collect a bounty for this?

Someone should really do this, it might help kill this alt-coin fad that is destroying legitimate cryptocurrency.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: the real reason btc is dropping on: May 03, 2013, 05:19:42 PM
This is just a conspiracy act between 2 companies to lower the BTC price , so big people with big money can get it while its cheap.

Coinlab can retract their law suit anytime. you just got GOX-ed if you believe everything the news said.

 How do you know that?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Crypots hurting prices? on: May 03, 2013, 12:29:00 AM
Yup, this has become an alt coin bubble which will burst just like the housing market bubble. All these cloned coins aren't worth as much as people are paying for them. Just the same coin with a different name. But just use it make profit, get every new coin early and sell at the top of the bubble.
