1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Info about Mining Ravencoin (Request) in AMD Rig on: January 21, 2023, 02:02:28 AM
Hello. I want mining RVN again (as in 2019 with my 4 GB cards) But i cant now. Idk where is my problem exactly (i think in Driver version)

I already test a lot of miners (NBMiner, RedTeam, BZMiner) And always my rig crash (when start, or after 10 minutes aprox).

My driver version is the last of official AMD page, with settings cards  in compute mode.

My rig is:

x1 RX 480 4 GB (Sapp)
x1 RX 580 4 GB (MSI)
x2 RX 570 8 GB (Asus/Asrock)
x1 RX 6600 8 GB (Sapp)

I use Windows for now (10, 1909)

Ive 35 GB in virtual memory, but only 4 GB for now of RAM (DDR2 Motherboard, with 5 slots PCI-E with 2 powersupplys 750W Seasonic + Gigabyte)

Ive not problemas with Beam/ETC

Thanks.

Hello, i have 4 computers with some cards in theirs.

I have problemas only with 1 PC, (who have only 4 GB ram memory) and the problem is GPU1: Allocating buffer failed with: clCreateBuffer (-4)

idk if the problem is by insuficient RAM memory, but its the same/Similar config in all pcs

my others PC have: (are 4 in total, 3 good 1 bad)

8 -8 - 32 GB RAM
20 GB in virtual memory
Windows 7 in one. Windows 10 1909 in the others
Driver 19.7.5

And never have a problem and have 3 cards for less in each pc.

The problematic PC have only 4 GB of RAM memory and windows 10 20H2, the rest config is the same with the others pcs

Phoenix Miner, so why you dont uploaded the software in github since the first day?

Hello, Nicehash put RX 550 4 GB (XFX Double dissp.) can mining 8-9 Mhz in RVN... how is it possible? Really the minner is important, becouse with redteam the hash rte is 500 Khz or less. But with NBMiner its 2.0 Mhz almost. How i need to reach this values? I already test this NB miner 36.1 with windows 10 and compute mode, last adrenaline version, and in W7 with crimson beta (this driver is good for the "imposible to change" compute mode on W7). But the end its the same, almost 2.0 Mhz. my pool is ethermine

Really this card can get 8.0 Mhz with RVN?

I think this doesnt have solution for now, the hashrate down a lot with 4 GB cards (and i already put all commands to try to get better). The 8 GB Cards are as the first day.

Ive 1 (the main) with 8 GB, and it is minning right now in 24 Mhz. The others 4gb cards from the same rig, are in half or less (12 mhz) when in the past this cards can mining in 20/22.

The 8 gb in Main is Asus Strix RX 570 8GB. Ive also other Asrock in other rig as main and its a little better (26 Mhz).

But in the olds 4 gb cards, the drop is huge (Sapp, MSI, Giga, 4 GB), 12,12,11 Mhz.

Im with Crimson Beta driver (17.X i think) by manual install, and works equal or little better that 20.X from Adrenaline.

Windows 10, Core2Quad, 8 GB DDR2, 30 GB in Virtual memory

hello, happy xmax.

In the past i found un this forum this files

these is a "Crimson Beta" Driver (MSI afterburner report), but this driver was really very cool. With this driver (today inclusive, 12/25/20) Play "almost" all games, and minning ETH to the max of my card (RX 570 8 GB, 25 Mhz) without set Compute/Gaming mode, And with Windows 7!

But unfortunatly, this driver doesnt work more with 4 GB Cards. And with the new drivers i have a lot of problems with 4 GB Cards (Epic low hash (12, was 24), 1 of 4 cards of 4gb doesnt start... etc...

anyone knows if exist a modern version of this driver?

Hello, ive a rig with 5 Cards (RX 570/470 all) and only the first main is 8 GB (the rest 4)

With rxboost 1 (or the vm comand in the correct number) without -Power + OC) i had in the past (before, in 2020 start) 26K in the main card, and 24/22/24/23 Mhz in the 4gb cards). Since the Epoch 384 and the last version of phonix, i have a lot fallen of hash rate (the 8 GB card no problem) but the rest 4 gb, all in 16K average.

I already read this was possible, so hard the fallen? can i do anything with some command?

Hello, someone know how change to compute mode IN WINDOWS 7 ? AMD's drivers doesnt have this opion in window 7, and i hae windows 10 and really dont have time to put again this rubbish. Idont have problems with phoenix in other rig with only 8 GB cards, but i have a rig with 4 GB and have problems. SO i need the 18.X driver, but W7 dont allow me changed the mode.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 15, 2020, 06:07:05 AM
I had the exact same issue but with Ubuntu, for some reason Claymore 15 doesn't work anymore with my 4GB cards. With Windows it stopped working even earlier than that. Which is a shame because I liked Claymore with the remote manager and stability and all. However Phoenix pretty much seems to do everything Claymore can, the commands might be slightly different but the features are the same.

t

Thanks for repply. Sad for Claymore, i liked Claymore a lot. So, do you know the "-rxboost" equivalence in Phoenix? im lost about 4K Mhz for each card without this command on phoenix... :/ (i dont use OC)
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 11, 2020, 03:42:19 AM
Hello, ive a problem with Claymore (with Phonenix without problem)

ive 20 GB in virtual memory.  and ive 5 cards (the first main 8 gb, the rest 4 gb, all RX 570))

but in claymore only 1 start (the main, 8 gb) . SO i have 28 Mh/s 0, 0, 0 0 ....

With phoenix i dont have problems.

what can i do?

Win 10, Adrenaline 17.5 in compute mode
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Problem with 4 GB cards on phonix minner on: October 03, 2020, 10:32:02 PM
I was minning with claymore, and yesterday my rigs only works 1/4 cards (the 8 GB, the main) the others 3 are 4 GB.

Today i am with Phoenix miner, and already read this posts > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0

Now i cant start 1 card in the rig (only can use 3). What can i do? always fail 1 card

Error: GPU3: clEnqueueNDRangeKernel (-4)

If use the -di X in the Bat files, i can use the 4 GB cards and the main 8 without problmes (one to one, in a new stance of the batch). But i can use only 3, no 4.

SO: Windows 10 1909
AMD Driver: 19.7.5
CPU: Core 2 Quad, Board with DDR2 and 8 GB RAM Memory
Main Card: RX 570 8 GB Asus
The others: 570 MSI /470 Sapphire/470 Gigabyte all 4 GB each,

AutoEdit: Solved. Need more Virtual Memory

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Overheat of Graphics hard with RavenCoin on: August 28, 2020, 01:45:35 AM
wow very thanks to all!. Really was it. I only made an underclock (less clock/memory) and the temp has down until 75-70º in all cards.
And yes o i have 2 80x80 coolers in diferents sectors.
Thanks again.

the last question, RavenCoin maybe will be the new "etherum" in case Etherum in November 2020 stop beingin profitable?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Overheat of Graphics hard with RavenCoin on: August 27, 2020, 08:44:21 PM
Ive this problem with this miner, nbminer.

When i use Claymore to minining Etherum i dont have problems (Stable temps below of 75ºC, until 67ºC in cold days).
But with nbminer and RavenCoin my cards feels a big high change (about 20%), one card touched the 90ºC, and the rest until up 80º- 85º.
Have I  any option in nbminer parameters in Bat file to avoid this? Also i see the problem is with 4 GB Cards.

I have the following hardware cofig:

Only 1 PC with 1 Card (my Main pc, only use to mining in free time) With RX 570 8 GB Asrock (no problems with this card)

and in my Main Miner i have 5 cards (the main the same of before but in Asus) and the rest are:
x2 Radeon RX 470 (Sapphire x 4 GB)
x2 Radeon RX 570 (MSI x 4 GB)
Powersuply: Seasonic 850W

The only cards without problems are the 8 GB

Exist other minner for RavenCoin, or anyconfig to avoid this problem?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4GB GPUs and DAG file load problem with Claymore and Ethereum on: August 04, 2020, 08:42:02 PM
no no, i dont have 2 GB Cards. i have 4 cards (1 of 8GB, 3 of 4GB)

currently i have a rig with 3 cards (the first card in Main PCIe is 8 GB, and the other 2 cards, 4 GB)

Next, in my main PC have the 4th card with 4 GB, this card dont works. But the question is why the other rig works fine? from the 3 cards, only 1 is of 8 GB, and are minning the 3 cards
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4GB GPUs and DAG file load problem with Claymore and Ethereum on: August 04, 2020, 06:06:24 PM
Hello, ive 2 computers, one with 3 cards (the first 8 GB, the other 2, 4 GB) and i dont have the problem

But i have other PC with only one card (use sometimes for mining, its my main pc) and ive the problem here. why is this? (all RX470/570) Claymore 15, WIndows 7x64
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / What happen with nicehash? on: February 04, 2020, 08:46:28 PM
Hello, i use Nicehash minner and their pools, but the last month i cant minning. I use anyone RX 570 and their use the daggerhashimoto algoritm, but the nicehash cant connect to servers (also, i use claymore independently for minning in Ethermine or other polls [nicehash pools even]) and i dint have problems until the last mont. Now i am minning in Ethermine, (works fine) but nicehash dont works.

any idea?

Hey, ive a question.

I ve RX 570 (Ellesmere) and i use a little OC in memory (like 1600 to 2000). and i use this way always. Now reading the author's notes, i used the Driver install, Strap and RXBoost, and i can see a good changre (since 24 to 31 hasrate), and i dont see changes in the MSI Afterburner (same clock/mermory/tdp/temp that without these options). The question is, if my cards will be afected really with this options. Thanks.

If you have set the OC settings in the Claymore config file and you actually are getting 31 MH/s then you have done it correctly. Depending what AMD drivers you are running, you might get issues with MSI Afterburner. So if you want to verify your clocks you can try using the AMD Driver software called WattMan which is in the AMD display settings, or you can just use GPU-Z. Launch it and you will see your current clocks.

You should also undervolt if you haven't to save some watts and lower the temperature of your GPUs. You can also verify your hash speed in your pool after a few hours since the difference between 24 to 31 mh/s should be noticeable.

Hello and thanks. What i win exactly undervolting the Cards?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Correct Overclock for RX 470/570? on: May 27, 2019, 04:26:40 PM
MSI After Burner
Radeon Crimson
RX 470/570 with Themartake 650 Smart Bronce
RX 470/580 with Sentey Stell Nitro Power 550 White
(are 2 PCS)

Hello, i have 2 RX 470 and 2 RX 570. and i want OC this cards (the amount in USD is awesome superior, about 30% per card). But... the wires of my powersuply come hotter, and the temperature of cards is very higher.

For example:

Without OC:
1700 memory clock and 0.6 USD, Temp: 69%

With OC:
2200 Memory clock and 1 USD, Temp 89%

The real problem isnt the temp, becouse i can put a external fan. But the energy consumition will be higher

Also, i dont want kill my powersuply.

Finally, i want know a correct and good Overclocking config for this, for:

High Money, High temperature, Normal energy consumition in month

Currently, i am thus:

Very high diference to earned money, but extreme consumition energy and xtreme high temperature and maybe FATAL use of my cards.

So, what can i do for this? I am sure of touch only the memory clock

Hello. Someone know why my cards mining the Half? In eth its mining just the Half. I used in the past a beta of crimson and i can minning in 22 Mhz. With the last adrenaline (or crismon), i am mining jsut the half (10.5) Why?

and, i am mining with nicehash (LyraV3) and i mining the same with old or new drivers. So the problem is the ETherum.

What happed?

RX 470 4GB Gigabyte: 21.000 Mhz
RX 470 4 GB Sapphire 24.000 Mhz
RX 570 8 GB Asrock: 23.000 Mhz

This.. the half :/

Did you activate compute mode for every card?

In Radeon Settings? i will chek
