3  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ▒╚═[Away] Buying ripples xrp for 6600 per BTC. Sell your ripples to me.═╗▒ on: June 10, 2013, 06:19:22 AM
Just traded with coinator. The reason why I hold back is because I saw "destroyer" posted a warning on his trust profile.
But it was a smooth and quick transaction, coinator is a nice guy and gave me a discount. Thanks for sending the btc over so fast!

Also, remember to backup your wallet.dat. This is your private key to your wallet. Without that, you won't be able to send transaction.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin doesn't need a password? on: April 19, 2013, 02:50:21 PM
but why you need password on your local machine wallet?

Because if you leave your computer unattended or if someone remote access your comp, it makes it harder for them to get your bitcoins.

I use the traditional bitcoin-qt wallet for big storage. Uses the blockchain wallet for online storage.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin 7$? on: April 19, 2013, 07:12:18 AM
I was all set to buy at $124, but then it went to $266. Luckily I wasn't verified to trade yet, saved me some cash.

I don't see it at 266 today? When was it at that price?

Just be aware that if you just leave your browser sitting there, it will count as inactive after some time and the total time logged in won't increase.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin price on: April 19, 2013, 06:13:46 AM
With the current rate, probably within one week. But it is really hard to tell that will it burst down before reaching that.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does mining work? on: April 19, 2013, 02:10:41 AM
You don't actually do stuff yourself. Your computer will do the computation work - it adds transaction records to past bitcoin blocks (blockchain).
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Shares: 0 accepted on: April 18, 2013, 02:17:49 PM
Share is a proof of work you send to the pool server. The mining pool break one large problem into smaller problems for miners to solve. You receive your reward (btc) based on the number of shares submitted.
