1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]🇨 Crypterium - Digital Cryptobank with Credit Token & Open Platform🇨 on: March 02, 2018, 08:21:21 AM
I just thought of an ICO that can end Crypterium and Litepay.

1- There will be a prepaid debit card.

2- Someone from a tax free nation sends funds to the prepaid debit card when you send them crypto.

3- There is a 1% fee for that transaction. 0.5% goes to the token holders, and 0.5% goes to the person from the tax free nation sending cash.

This should all be decentralized and no one knows whose receiving and whose sending.
obviously you don't know things you speak about. Cryptertium use virtual cards and you are restricted only value per transaction 500$. Also you have to pay only 0.5% CRPT from transaction value. And the main thing, the goal of CRPT is fuel transactions like Gas in ETH blockchain. So CRPT will burned and total amount of them will decrease. This can take the price of token not to the Moon but to an Alpha Centauri

In the example I put forward the fuel is the 1% transaction fee that converts the crypto to cash in the debit card. $500 is the maximum purchase on Crypterium? That's very bad, because people like buying laptops, cars, houses, and repairs that cost much more than $500.

If an individual sends $100,000 to someone's bank account in exchange for 8 BTC, won't the bank report it to the IRS. Is there a way for a user to receive fiat anonymously?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY] Cryptonex (CNX) – Global Blockchain Acquiring! on: February 16, 2018, 04:01:09 PM
Can you buy and sell crypto with fiat anonymously? Can you buy 1000 CNX with your fiat debit card, or transfer 7K from your bank account to the cryptonex platform? Can this be done anonymously since it is decentralized?

Yobit only has a small amount of Sigt left. Pretty soon it will be very hard to find and it will make the price go up. It's anonymous and it stakes, not much more work needs to be done. The wallet is the only problem which can be fixed.

On discord someone brought up Navcoin being better for anonymity than Sigt, does anyone know if that's true?

You wont be able to mine signatum after a few weeks anyway, is there anything else that makes signatum better? Stealth rewards 20% pos annually.

I read about a coin named stealthcoin that seems almost identical to signatum, but stealthcoin has a 20% yearly pos reward. Are they the same?

I have a question about the market that is soon to be developed -

On the white paper it states: "Signatum Marketplace: A marketplace that will enable people and companies to sell products and services around the world, using Signatum as a currency."

My question is that will there be any restrictions on what can be sold on the market place and if so, how will they be inforced?

Thanks - Fabrizio

They said they'll have moderators to ban any illegal posts. But I dont see the point in them doing that, because people will just go to ebay or amazon if they wanted to be monitored. The use of a private crypto in a monitored market doesnt make sense.

I dont see the point of having a market for a privacy coin if it's going to be monitored for selling illegal things, might as well buy from amazon or ebay if I wanted to be monitored..

So which is better Verge, Z cash, Cloak, or Signatum for anonymity?
SIGT... Zcash devs can track transactions...

I knew Sigt was the most secure, the only thing that's annoying is theyre planning on monitoring their marketplace for "illegal" sales. Safex doesn't monitor anything, if Sigt didn't monitor their market place I'd be 99% certain they'd make the top 10 coins. If they make masternodes too then it might be able to compete with BTC and Eth.

The official marketplace will be monitored because the devs dont want problems, but the marketplace will be 100% opensource, soo anyone can copy it and make it for illegal things

Masternodes needs hardfork...

Phew, that's a relief. This coin is going to be killing it then. I sold my Safex, Verge, and cloak for Sigt.
I wish you luck man, i just hope that we aren't suprised by i major global stock crash - lock at what's going on the geopolitical arena, look at the dowj signaling weakness after months of alltime highs - it looks like the bulls are cashing out - VIX confirms what's going on in the dowj, look at the domestic problems in the us of a (charlottesville, health care, tax reforms, probably increasing again debt ceiling, and much more...) and elsewhere. It could make the cryptos stronger, as the subprime crisis did by "giving birth" to bticoin. we will see, time will tell.

Thanks, good luck for you too. All the crazy things happening are a perfect storm for crypto, we are the few fortunate ones who were able to capitalize on this opportunity.

Check out Crowetic's article he wrote on steemit.

Here's the post:

Here's the concerning quote:

"The market will have moderators to protect from illegal posts, and will ban with extreme prejudice anyone looking to scam or sell illegal items via the market.

SIGT may be an anon-privacy-focused coin, but that does NOT mean it supports illegal activity. We are merely protecting the privacy of our users, allowing them their right to privacy."

The whole point of anonymous currency is to do illegal trades with it, so they're screwing it up by monitoring the market place. They should do what Safex will do and let an escrow and verified reviews and ratings help users avoid scams.

"You do know the history in the creation of TOR right - its fake privacy.  Many many of the entry and exit nodes are compromised..."

If Tor is fake privacy why are people comfortable buying and selling drugs and weapons on it? I think by now we would of heard abound the thousands being arrested if it wasn't private.

I assume that you know where the research fundings for tor project came from. Indeed there are a lot of news about arrested people, here a couple of recent reports from different countries, there are much more of course but you have to search for it Grin:

They were arrested because they left a trail or didn't use Tor properly. There isn't anyone who got caught that took all the right precautions.

How is it big things if theyre planning on moderating their market? Safex is anonymous and doesnt moderate their users selling/buying activity. Sigt are going to need to compete with Safex if they want to be a top coin, which means they shouldn't moderate what people buy and sell on their market.
How are they even going to define "illegal" different things are illegal in different countries. What if someone from europe was selling flavored cigarrettes to someone in U.S.? thats illegal in one country and not in the other.
Very good point, laws apply to a territory. the main issue with blockchain projects is the legal compliance, looking forward to see how they manage that.
could one way be to implement legal codes in the blockchain through smart contracts Huh I wonder if there is something out there like a "law blockchain" where national legal codes are implemented as a reference to make sure international transactions comply with the laws of the corresponding countries Huh

Even if they had something like that, people can just trade through a VPN of a country that doesn't criminalize what they want to buy or sell. The simple solution is to forget about the laws, let people be responsible for themselves, we don't need daddy government monitoring our victimless actions.

I dont mind being protected by the mods , I rather don't want to be scammed all night long , not sure about you.

That's why an escrow and seller/buyer verified ratings and reviews should be used to prevent scams. Moderating "illegal" things means they will micromanage even legit transactions. Safex is anonymous and has no moderators, so if Sigt wants to compete with the chili blockchain market place, then they need to get rid of moderators.

@coiner, they shouldn't moderate what people buy and sell at all, regardless if it's illegal or not. To prevent scams they should only use an escrow and verified buyer/seller ratings.

Yeah, screw Putin if he's trying to take down Tor. Check out Crowetic's post on steemit. He says theyre planning on moderating the market and ban people for selling illegal stuff. They should do what safex does and make an escrow and buyer/seller ratings, then leave moderators out of it. Here is the post on steemit:
