Hi all, I have created an ANDROID app that broadcasts transaction from QR code (base43 or hex) and hex string. It currently supports BTC, LTC, DASH, ZCASH and DOGECOIN and their test networks. It uses the chain.so API to broadcast the transaction. All the code is on Git Hub, feel free to look (& improve) - https://github.com/JJandJ/Broadcast-Transaction. All feedback is appreciated. I created this as I could not find a solution to quickly broadcast a transaction from an offline PC with a wallet on it. Here is the google play store link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.jjandj.broadcaster

Hi all - i have an idea to stop people using stolen private keys:
1) A wallet monitors its addresses in a block explorer. 2) If a pending transaction appears that WAS NOT sent from the wallet: The wallet immediately creates an identical transaction (or possibly the full balance) to one of its other addresses (possibly with higher fee to prioritize it over the non-wallet transaction). 3) The non-wallet . fraudulent transaction would be cancelled / disappear from the block explorer and the wallet would know not to use that private key ever again.
Its just an idea, but i think its something we should seriously think about implementing in all wallets.
Feedback / criticism welcome.....
Technically this is not possible to keep any transaction pending or reverse because there is no charge back in blockchain tech. What is the parameter to verify the ownership of private keys once anybody got access than he sign message too. Please explain this in details this would work is real. my understanding is if a transaction is taking a long time to be included in a block, I can resend it and it cancels out the one that was taking a long time. Something to do with the nonce I think. So could that be used by a wallet to effectively cancel or overwrite unauthorised transactions. The wallet would be the only way to send unless it goes offline or you turn it off the protection off

From what I see fund rising visually stopped after soft-cup. 5.2M now. And maybe it will be 10~15M of MIO tokens at the end. 6~10K in ETH coins. It should affect whole effectiveness of project (compared with ETH 200K mountain) but it is not so easy to predict how strong.
I think better way for project -> to show real equipment in real hangar, working hard, day end night. Even if they will show us just 20 ASICs on two racks, but real (not this scholar made photoshoped road signs with facebook and Minerone), it will bring more into project than any marketing shit on telegram and bitcointalk.
yes, can we get a live feed on the farm?

Is there a way to stake on the pi?
|
|
|
I have NXT desktop, to stake what do i need to do? Just log in and leave it open?

I am very disappointed that not even NXT is now Open Source anymore. BCNext would probably turn in his grave. Even NEM is now a more decentralized option than NXT.
I am considering to fork away with an 1.11.5 node on the hard fork block and contribute to mantain the original chain. Or directly to start a clean fork based on a snapshot, to avoid all the hassles. Jelurida is risking that NXT will also have its "Bitcoin Cash" drama.
I agree, decentralisation is the top priority, otherwise crypto has no point.

I think we can expected adding XRP to Coinbase in next several months and reach 1$ in November-December 2017.

How I understood to receive dividends I must hold my tokens on site true flip. How I can send TFL from myetherwallet to site?
Just go to first page of this thread. All details you need are there. Sorry, I didn't see any info on how to "hold tokens on true flip site" on the first page of this thread. Can someone explain or send me a link to the info please?

Can someone give me a quick tutorial on how these NAV Pi boxes work (not technically, but as from a users perspective) please? Thanks

But not like this. Why the hell would people want a tokenized fiat? It makes no sense.
Why not just use the established cryptocurrencies for day to day payments...
Price stability??

Can someone please tell me how the monthly .5 percent reward is paid out to PAY holders? Where do the tokens need to be held? I bought some in the aftermarket and went through the white paper and didn't see it explained. I'm sure it's somewhere in this 110 page thread but that's a lot to go through. Thanks
You must hold them in your personal wallet (to which you have the private key(s)), then payments will supposedly be automatically paid to your wallet holding the tokens! So any wallet such as myetherwallet would work? But I can't leave them in Bittrex right? Correct!!
