Those are some insane mining numbers, I wouldn't be surprised if someone was playing around with FPGA miners. CPU and GPU miners do not have a chance

Even tho we are still one of the most profitable coins to CPU mine, I doubt our current algo is worth of spending time and effort of building FPGA miners - also cache memory is the most expencive part of CPU's.

Lyra2z330 is currently used only on GXX and NOR:
GXX has a daily miner inflation of around 400 GXX
NOR has a daily miner inflation of around 2000 NOR

If you check current coin prices and multiply it by that value...

Anyone else GPU mining this?

Also if you are using a cpu make sure you have dual channel memory for a big boost in hash rate. I have not tried it with a quad channel setup but I have a hunch you would see some performance boosts.

CPU-only
Yes memory bandwidth is usually the first bottleneck, secondary L3 cache size and finally - CPU frequency

Here are some GPU benchmarks for anyone that is interested, I ran mine on linux with a power limit of 95 watts for a GTX 1070 so you can get more hash with full power.

FYI GPU mining has been around for at least 6 months from my research.

Benchmarks https://pool2mine.com/bench

I'm running a few Xeons (E5 v4) 2.0-2.4kH/s per 110-150W (full system power consumption) also hacked a few low powered Intel (Core M) devices at 400-450H/s at 9W power consumption.

Those numbers beat any GPU.

I have also seen benchmarks on Intel gen 8. and AMD Ryzen/TR that can do even better than that. None the less RTX data is yet to come.

Those intel core M numbers are impressive, a single GTX 1070 in a system running an amd 200ge (35 watt TDP) with the card set to a power limit of 100 will do about 3.1kH/s with a power draw of 140 watts at the wall and you can get even more density and power efficiency with a 6 card rig.

I have been able to get about 1.4kH/s on a ryzen 1500x and about the same speed on a threadripper 1950x which makes me think the threadripper needs 2 instances to run properly

New AMD's can do magic just need to assign the mining threads correctly since one thread cant access all of the L3 cache memory space as Intel CPUs.

In cpuminer-opt play with -t and --cpu-affinity setting to get the best results.

Deposit\Withdrawal coin will be available after you upgrade the source code of the wallet. Unfortunately the developers are in no hurry to send you updates
- therefore, in order to avoid the loss of users, the network is not available.
If you have updated the source code of the coin, send us (https://yobit.net/en/maintenance_request/ Free)and we will promptly correct the problem on the coin.
Thank you for contacted the support.

We have sent them the update details numerous times, even in russian, but to no avail. Yobit is just unresponsive Sad
Sadly not just with hexx but with quite a few other currencies...

Why it is so hard to mine this coin?

In every other CPU coin a 16 thread Ryzen kicks ass, in Hexx it's next to nothing.

Mining  for 5 days to get 0.1 Hexx, when Hexx is less than a dollar!?
Global hashrate is still high compared to price, but its coming down slowly...

if a coin is needlessly forking then it's a huge ass red flag and most likely scam
Not a classic fork, but a co-fork, HEXX still stays - just giving birth to a separate chain-mix!

Guys! Solo mining via wallet not worked? When i type "setgenerate true" a have error and wallet is closed.
Internal miner is not patched/optimized yet, use cpuminer-opt for best results!

good, how many cpu core i5 can be profitable that currency ?. I am very new in this.

Average i5 can push up to 400H/s which will (at current difficulty) generate around 0.02HEXX per day

I finally got back to the HEXX tread that I had been leaving since Dev was off and now it's coming back with a new refresh and I'm quite surprised that HEXX came back to life and jumped to a top $ 15
I get the information there will be a snapshot on do HEXX with bitcoinZero is it correct? and how much HEXX to get bitcoinzero?

All info is here.

Can't do mining as when click on the exe file it just blink out. What's wrong?
You have to setup mining parameters in the .bat file, and then start mining through it!

As I'm not in HEXX discord channel, can someone provide me any official statement from admins/devs what have happened? Is this situation changeing any future plans for HEXX project ?

Sorry for the delay.

It all started with an OTC deal going wrong.
A team member (the guy on the right) that was also responsible for future legal representation of the project was trusted also with securing the OTC deals.
As this team member has been working with us since the start of April, there were no trust issues, nor were there any doubts in his work.
This was not the first OTC deal also.

Anyway... The deal was to get 22.5BTC in return for 15k HEXX
Confirmed in the blocks below
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hxx/tx.dws?339162.htm
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hxx/tx.dws?339167.htm

Sadly these ended up on Cryptopia.

I don't want to comment on the proceedings.

But I have to confirm that the Development part of the team did not "cash out". We stand stronger together now than ever before.

Full project time line is still in check, as it will be in the future to come!

Has anyone in here tried to send any HEXX to your desktop wallet in the last 24 hours?

Some transactions did have some delay, but should be all cleared by now.

I have downloaded the QT wallet but have AntiVirus program issues with Bitcoin Miners
Cpuminer-opt is flagged as malware by Windows defender, you will need to put the miner .exe in a "safe directory" which can be set in the settings and run the miner from there
