cool project, could you expand on the pros and cons of this project vs POA Network?

Hi, interesting project.

Can you list some worst-case scenarios for when COIN prices fall or spike sharply, and how you plan to ensure people who have made fiat or BTC gains through their virtual portfolio are able to realize those gains even though they are withdrawing in COIN, which may become an issue given the fiat or BTC price is now much lower or higher than that of the initial COIN investment?

Specifically, are there any cases in which the primary and secondary reserve can fail, or would you say it is 100% foolproof?

Thanks
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to buy a lot of BTC, which exchange has the most lenient deposit limit? on: June 11, 2017, 07:46:56 AM
You probably forgot to mention your method of deposit or your payment method whether credit cards, paypal, wire transfer etc.

You will need to add this information to your thread before you can receive a good suggestions.

You can create account multiple exchange website if you do not want to mention your deposit method.

Thanks, I've edited my original thread. Credit card / bank wire / paypal are all fine with me, though bank wire would be most convenient
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Looking to buy a lot of BTC, which exchange has the most lenient deposit limit? on: June 11, 2017, 07:17:50 AM
I'm trying to buy some bitcoins using USD (credit card / bank wire / paypal are all fine with me, though bank wire would be most convenient), but am having trouble getting past buying limits.
I've tried using coinbase and they won't let me buy more than $5000 unless I wait 30+ days. I'm looking
to invest much more than this.

It seems like many exchanges want identity / SSN verification before they increase your limits.
I'm uncomfortable providing this. Are there any exchanges that have a lenient deposit limit without having
to jump through all these hoops? Right now I'm looking at GDAX and Kraken but I can't figure out what their
deposit limits are.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you make a paper wallet for altcoins? on: June 11, 2017, 07:07:25 AM
I'm considering investing in some non-popular altcoins (for example, Bitshares), but I didn't want to store them in exchanges
like Poloniex. Some questions:

1. The hardware wallets don't support these coins, so is my safest option a paper wallet?

2. Would I have to create a paper wallet for each altcoin?

3. Is the process of transferring Bitshares from Poloniex to my paper wallet the same as transferring Bitcoin to a paper wallet?

Thanks!
6  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How can I check my balance on hardware wallet such as Trezor or Ledger? on: June 10, 2017, 05:14:25 PM
Thanks! Didn't know about sites like blockchain.info and https://etherchain.org/

Just to make sure I understand correctly, does this mean each cryptocurrency has its own blockchain, and so each one would have some website that lets you look up the public address and see the balance for that specific cyptocurrency?
7  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / How can I check my balance on hardware wallet such as Trezor or Ledger? on: June 10, 2017, 04:46:33 PM
Some questions regarding how these hardware wallets work:

1. Is there a way to check the balance of a public address, so that I can look at my balance without having to plug these hardware wallets into a USB?

2. If no, can I look at the balance if I plug into the USB of an offline computer?

Thanks for the help! Mainly wanted to better understand how secure these hardware wallets are compared to paper wallets.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it safe if hardware wallets must connect to computer to send money? on: June 09, 2017, 04:30:54 PM
I'm reading reviews about hardware wallets like Trezor and Ledger Nano, and correct me if I'm wrong,
but it seems like you have to connect to a computer everytime you want to send money out
of the hardware wallet. If we have to connect to a computer that's online, is it possible that something
malicious can figure out the private key from the hardware wallet during this time?
