how much hardware payment did we get?  we know 3000 cubes have been sold, so far, but I guess that money hasn't gone to div, yet.
We don't know because FC is suppose to use a new address every sale.

But if you look at the div address https://blockchain.info/address/115tTroRo3B9ZDQ6ATJGDCHcNEVbjJoZnF you can see that 319btc was added and at lease one of the addresses looks to be a sales address https://blockchain.info/address/18WHrTRMsMuqrAqux4fVhJQ2EoGf18CySU im assuming the whole 319 is from sales.

But really we have no idea, only FC knows.

I must be missing something, I only see 3 * 25 today

Look at the dates
3  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 21, 2013, 12:38:25 AM
Dividends are almost certain to be higher next week, we already have 125BTC in the mining address(total from last weeks mining was 329BTC. Difficulty doesn't adjust till the 30th and the cubes are just being sold. So I dont see how dividends could not be higher next week. Seems to be the perfect time to buy.
That's quite high for a few blocks found since div payment, must have been some left in the wallet.

Its all from today

What do people think is going to happen tomorrow, dividends higher or lower, good or bad news from FC?
6  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 02, 2013, 09:53:17 PM
This is good, the share price will continue to drop. But Asicminer has huge potential growth now, they have about 500th coming soon, and 10,000btc for reinvestment. FC is showing he is looking into other forms of revenue too. If you are in AM for the long haul this is very good news.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: October 01, 2013, 06:06:37 AM
Whats this investigation from Ukyo and Burnside mentioned?? You guys are so vague sometimes, its no wonder this thread is complete garbage.  Every time you post information, post sources, or links, or quotes... SOMETHING

Its amature hour here, most of these kids shouldn't be allowed to invest.
If this is a scam, I could have pulled a better scam than this, why wouldn't "Sam" just post blurry pics of a some chips? or Post some fake docs to "Prove" who he is?
It's all assumptions either way, look at what has been provided? next to nothing, If any half decent scammer would know is you want to push up the share price by providing what ever fake docs you can, it would cost a few hundred at best to produce some photo shopped pics of chips/ boards/ ID ect.

If this is not a scam and they can gain 1% of the network, ill be looking at a nice gain of ~50BTC, My little risk may or may not pay off.

quite the opposite, as soon as he provides any fake evidence it will be ripped to shreds by the community leaving him to explain faked evidence. If he doesnt release anything hes leaving it open to speculation and so he can continue the scam, because people like you still invest. Then when it all falls over theres 0 evidence he tried to scam by providing fake evidence.
8  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 09:38:17 PM
This is absolutely true.  Look, at the end of the day Labcoin Sam told us what the issues are and what is being done about it.  It's clearly not a scam and people, I believe, are opening their eyes to that.

It clearly IS a scam.  He gives you a whole list of new promises to string you along, and the deadlines are all AFTER THE EXCHANGE CLOSES, so you can't dump your shares.

Do you have his ID?  any personal information?  How about a way to contact him?  verification that he has the chips?

So, what do you have?  nothing

Its not just that but now he has a "3rd party" (that he wont name) to blame any further delays on. I expect this 3rd party excuse to be used for at least a few months. Its almost an out for him.
9  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 10:13:43 AM
Again, what part of that suggests that Labcoin are not mining with 2 Th/s?
Very simple ways to prove they were hashing were stated, and they did none of them.
They claim it isn't "stable"; even more reasons to use a pool and not solo mine.

Just because they never bothered using those methods acceptable to the community, that does not mean they lied about hashing at 2 Th/s. Neither does them claiming stability issues or pool mining.

Quote
What part of that shows Labcoin admitting to have lied about mining with 2 Th/s?
Why would it matter? Do you even logic?

Because it's a blatant lie. People are claiming that Labcoin have admitted lying about hashing. I'm calling those lying cunts out because I know Labcoin said no such thing. I know that to be pure bullshit.

Spread as much FUD as you like, but if you start with the blatant lies, I'll call you on it.

Thanks for calling me a cunt, really appreciate it.
when they say they are hashing at 2th, then say mining has been delayed, then say they need more time to tweak and calibrate boards and chips before they are stable enough for production. How can they have 2th in production and get 4 th by monday when they still need time to tweak and calibrate boards and chips before they put into production.

What is your definition of lieing, do they need to admit to it fully before it is a lie?
For a lot of people that is enough for them to feel they have been misled.
10  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 09:33:25 AM
On the other hand.. they have boards and they have chips..

What happens it they put those in work?

When do you mean? This isn't a sca, they are having issues and aren't aware that honesty is the best possibility

I think i missed the part.. where they say: we dont mine atm; we dont have the 2th.. someone has that on his clipboard?

I missed that part also and despite asking for people to provide a link to Labcoin making such a claim, nobody has yet bothered to do so for one simple reason - Labcoin never made any such claim.

here

Quote
The project is fully funded and I have personally 100% faith that Sam and the developers can and will deliver and though mining has been delayed, every single (even the most pessimistic) calculation I have done makes selling my shares anywhere near current price a bad idea.

and here

Quote
Boards hashing, and having a mining operation running is two quite different things. The team has notified me that they need more time to tweak and calibrate boards and chips before they are stable enough for production. This does by no means mean that they are not working.

then here

Quote
I would like to point out that I am not calling anyone FUDsters, I am also not saying that labcoin has not had 2th hashing. My statement is just based on the info I have and that is that more tweaking and calibrating is needed before Labcoin feels comfortable with stating a stable hash rate.

They previously said this

Quote
We're currently averaging about 2 TH/s in solo mode, and expect to deploy at least 4 TH by monday 16, to reach gradually 50 TH within October.

Whats your your definition of lieing?

With the franchising, does anyone know whats happening here? Is FC selling/leasing old blades at discount to get other people to mine for him?
Or is something completely different?

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?
13  Other / Politics & Society / Open-source governance with bitcoin on: June 05, 2013, 08:25:18 AM
If Bitcoin has the ability to remove the majority of power governments have over us, to the point where they could collapse, is open source governance an option to take its place? Thoughts?

People have been asking for a website for months.

Has FriedCat ever replied something about that ?

It might not have been directly about a website, but I recall FC saying some words suggesting that AM leaves opportunity for distributors to make any kind of service they want to. In other words, AM doesn't need a website, but if you want to but wholesale, and sell retail, go for it. Make your own website, sell their boards, etc.

Or maybe I'm making this up...

I think a retail channel would be a good idea as it would free Bitfountain from the hassle of dealing with hundreds of retail buyers. Surely if there is stock on hand or stock committed to be produced now is the time to start shipping it, not in three months when its value has fallen by 2/3rds. Also better to sell stock in bulk than have to worry about deploying it to the farm with its attendant admin and operations costs.

There are risks involved in being a reseller of any mining product in an era where generations of tech are measured in months - you don't want stock sitting in your warehouse for more than a couple of weeks, tops. The blades are currently priced at a premium as well, which would make it hard to make a margin on top of that. Perhaps the distribution channel should get blades at say BTC25 each in volume and then be looking to sell them to retail customers for BTC35 each (still a good business when each blade only costs about BTC1 to manufacture). AM would sell an absolute boatload of blades and would have a bulging war chest to pay for the next generation of hardware.

I agree the price for blades and usb eruptors are too high for re-sellers, yes they are going for $400+ on ebay but thats only because of how hard they are to buy at the moment and how hard btc is to get. If you are only selling in bulk you need to price it accordingly to make it financially viable for your re-sellers.
I still think they need a website for info, when you google bitcoin asics you get bfl's website first then some forums posts a few wiki entries and thats it. Heres a perfect example of why there needs to be a website.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1fg1m4/looking_to_buy_a_bitcoin_miner/
If there was a website on what products were available, specs, how to use them, how to order, maybe a list of re-sellers for people that only wanted one. Then this type of thing wouldnt happen. Especially for the blades, they are so bare bones they need support documentation easily available.
I wouldn't be surprised if half the share holders didn't even know asicminer sold hardware until the release of the usb miners.
I just find it daft that a company that has potentially millions of dollars going through its hands doesn't have a website and depends on a community website to make sales and provide support.
16  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 31, 2013, 10:38:42 PM
I would really like to see a website setup to streamline sales and news too. Theres really no excuse plenty of people can do it, asicminer could probably do the whole thing with bitcoin too, website hosting paid in bitcoin, designers paid in bitcoin. Or just do it them selves, its really not hard to setup a wordpress store with bitpay. Being able to sell usb eruptors directly to people would be a huge benefit. They would probably need to hire someone to handle the orders but that shouldnt be an issue because of the added sales.

They have designed made and are now selling hardware, they really need to get their shit together and sort out the front end of the business, the part the public sees, it really shouldnt be that you have to delve through a unrelated forum to find out how to buy the stuff. They have product, they need to market it now before competitors have their own stock.

I would look into bitmessage and open transaction before ripple, it could quite easily make it redundant.

Im more worried they will target companies based in us that deal in bitcoin or bitcoin minning only. Its why i havent invested in any company based in the US.
