Is there ways to set static IP to Antminer?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / matching miner IPs and miner names on: January 03, 2018, 02:26:35 AM
Hi, does anybody have good ideas for matching miner IPs and miner names?  Huh

Sometimes, my router resets the IPs of miners when I restart the router. Once it happens, it courses a problem that names of each machines on Awsome miner and IPs for each machine don't match.  It is really time consuming to re-match the names of each machines and IPs.  There should be better way than re-matching manually, but I am not smart enough to figure out.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Backup Internet Recommendation? on: December 03, 2017, 04:05:32 PM
Hi Fellow miners,

I have a questions about setting up the backup internet when the main internet stops for some reasons.

Last week, my cable internet suddenly stopped and it took for more than four days to recover. It happened the day before thanksgiving so no technicians want to come to fix.... Fortunately I could share the internet for my neighbor via a long Ethernet cable quickly enough, so there are not much lost that I made. Before I had never thought about the situation, but the accidents can happen and the main internet can stop anytime.

Now I'm researching the way to have the back up internet which can fail over when the main internet stops.

It seems like that I need to have a router with dual connection inputs and secondary internet connection- I think I will go with cheep wireless.

Any good makers or models of router that you recommend?  Do you use a usb model or cellphone somehow.

I have a small mining operation of 12 s9s.

Thanks in advance.

I remember that few electricians told me that I can't use every third space in the panel because the wildleg, Delta.

Does it mean the delta system like my setup have less capacity than the wye system like the gentleman above has?
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / How many s9 can run on a 3 phase 400amp panel? on: October 10, 2017, 04:06:22 PM
I try to set a small size mining farm. I try to understand 3 phase electricity, but it is difficult to understand. I asked many electricians but everyone has different answers and I am kind of confuse.

I want to know the capacity of my 400 amp panel. It is 3 phase. I believe it can make 240v with two lines. It has a wildleg(208v? delta system?).

How many s9 can run on this panel?

My simple head calculate like this...I feel like something missing...
---------------------
Each Machine operate
1440w/240v = 6 amp
400Amp panel
so 400amp / 6amp =66 S9s

Constant electricity so 80%
66.66*0.8 =53 S9s
----------------------
Is this a right way to calculate?
