Happens often on random rigs, rig stuck at this and not hashing until I reload miner.

Hi, could you please run the miner with "--protocol-dump -l trex.log" flags and then send me the log file when it happens again? I'll have a look. Hello guys,
I'm thinking about setting up a small mining farm in Malaysia. GPUs are cheap these days and power costs are low there, too. Although crypto currency charts have been going sideways for a while, I believe in the technology of blockchain and expect prices to rise sooner or later.
I am curious about your opinions: will future blockchain projects turn into proof-of-stake systems and make miners unnecessary? Or will mining rather be required to run those projects?
In other words: do you believe mining will still be profitable in future considering crypto currencies will continuously increase mainstream adaption?

Look at the Etherium. If POS mining would be so productive and efficient, devs and stake holders will turn their chain on it in a minute. You might say: "They stuck cause of some technical problems", I will answer: "Devs would be working 24/7 if stakeholders wish so". So, I think mining would be profitable BUT not for all crowd. Only as a business and if you will have some edge. |

Hey Dev, people are having issues with mining on 3GB cards, is this done for good? What's going on!?

I've seen good articles about the new coin Grin, more people are mining grin at the moment . Do you think I should mine grin also?

Rig is rebooting due to system error. It could be caused by too much overclock/undervolt.
This error will not leave not matter what i do.
I am using the latest version of smos mining rvn on z-enemy-v1.22-cuda9.1.
if I mine Music coin, i get no errors, mine rvn and this plagues me.
What other information is needed from me to help resolve this?
Any help or guidance would be awesome.

I think the issues is quite evident. No, its not! I have the same problem. Tried also to set "0" on core and mem, also tried to adjust -pl Now Ive chanded miner on T-REX 7.3. well see what will happen. By the way, could anybody add T-REX 7.4? |

Внесу и я свою лепту в обсуждение тему ДУ в крипте.
Могу сказать, что "брать крипту в ДУ" - это дело очень рискованное, прежде всего, для самого трейдера.
Здесь и шансы взять в управление клиентский биржевой счет (или кошель), с которого "хозяин" сам у себя уведет крипту и обвинит в "пропаже" вас. Будет потом вымогать у вас всю сумму.
Здесь у вас не будет никаких шансов "объяснить" клиенту, что риск потери капитала - это часть "сделки"
От вас будут ждать "доходности" и "гарантий," и вымотают все нервы за свои 0.1 битка так, что ночами спать не будете.
Здесь вам будут звонить сразу на следующий день, как только вы закроете предыдущий день "в минус" с вопросом: "А что у нас убыток что ли?"
Вы не сможете составить с клиентом какой-либо договор ДУ, закрепляющий права и обязанности сторон, а писать всякие расписки - это для трейдера путь в пропасть.
И так далее и тому подобное...
В связи с этим, я считаю наиболее эффективным механизм работы с клиентами только через специализированные сервисы типа collective2, etoro и т.д., где предлагается услуга автоследования.
Подписчики к вам придут, если вы будете показывать высокую эффективность и будут уходить, если ее не будет. Как говорится, ничего личного. При этом они будут платить вам фикс комиссию.
Однако, вся проблема в том, что на крипто рынке я так понял таких сервисов пока нет (или я туплю)

No, this one is broken. Most probably today we will upload newer fixed image. Right now you can use older image or wait for new. I will write in changelog when i will upload new one  No, its not broken! It works perfect! 1063 Palit Dual = 23 Mh/s and 67w  |

Guys. few posts back you will see SOME TUTORIAL ABOUT AGGRESIVE UNDERVOLTING.I suggest looking at it and also: New OS imageIf you have newer Nvidia GPUs you can reflash your rig with that image but if it is working fine then it is no need to reflash - newest kernel 4.17.14 - newest amd driver 18.20 - newest nvidia driver 396.51 - image is available for RX/NV in the About OS menu - drivers are never updated in auto-updates becasue it would broke your rig ofcourse. Hi, recently i had someone that GTX1060 powerlimit was not working and it was due to unsupported GPU by current driver. So if thats the case then i think reflashing your pendrive will solve this problem https://download.simplemining.net/SimpleMiningOS-NV-RX-v1182-4.17.14-amd18.20-nv396.51.img.zipSo, download, reflash, change email (now editing this file will work even under MacOS) and then save, unmount and boot on rig. All settings should be ofcourse downloaded from server so no need to do anything else. Just please check if this is working fine and please tell me if by any chance you had PALIT GPU - becasue that was the case last time in other user rig ?  Also if you guys will have more issues, please write to admin@simplemining.netWe have official support by email as writing on forum is not so easy/fast/good.... etc .... Thank you BRO! Maybe I set the question in bad way but I meant not to undervolt Nvidia cards but to make lower power limit as much as possible.
I am waiting when there will be possible to install 396 Nvidia driver in SMOS to lower -pl to 65w on my 1063 cards rigs.
And as long as its still be 390 Nvidia driver in SMOS I will NOT register my rigs here and will continue to use Ubuntu.

We will implement AMD aggresive undervolting option in OC modal in few days. This will be as a "TICK". All new rigs from release point will have it as default but all old rigs will have it as disabled to make sure that they will not crash or freeze. Anyway the aggresive undervolting will solve once for all the undervolting issues. Right now the Undervolting under AMD is hit or miss. It will work on some GPU bioses and will not work on others. The Aggresive undervolting will force all states to use lower voltages and this will cause the real wanted undervolting. This is top priority now but as we have few other things in progress - it will slow down release. It should be ready within 7 days. I hope you will all like it Great news! Thanks!
