1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool proof | KGW | no-premine on: April 14, 2014, 06:51:41 AM
Any help for a newbie to Execoin?  I can't get my R9 280x to get over 275kh/s.

I have tried every setting I can find on http://execoin.net/gpu-settings.html for my card.  Can't get over 275 without getting HW errors.  On normal Scrypt I can get 750kh/s, so am not understanding why my card can't do 310-350kh/s like those posted.

Anything I missed?  I tried setting TC to 4096 with the above settings as well and it got solid HW errors until  I bumped I down to 12 but then that caused my kh/s to drop like a rock.

Kind of at wits end right now.

Also at the above settings I am still getting a few HW errors and lots of Stratum requested work restarts.  Is this normal for a P2Pool?  Usually I have used a normal pool so am also new to P2Pools.

Thanks.

Try setting it to .01.  I read somewhere (probably in this thread) that .01 is the new minimum and that the FAQ just hasn't been updated yet.

Is there a way you could add a instant payout option? I mined on this pool for a few months and have 0.033 BTC on the pool but with the current rates it would take me over a month to get it to the minimum 0.05 BTC in order to get the coins out.  Would rather not lose that $30 or so...

Even if you charge a .01 fee or something that would be fine.  Something is better than nothing.

I did set it to that just in case.  The FAQ also said every 15 minutes.  I waited longer than 15 minutes and nothing happened before I posted here.

However I just checked and it has cashed me out.  Looking up my wallet now to see if it showed up now.

still had no real joy with this but iv just won a ati 5870 on ebay should i get a good deal better hash rate than 70-90Kh/s?
https://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison#AMD_.28ATI.29

According to that anywhere from 250-450Kh/s for that card.

My problem with these other minor coins is no reputable exchanges exist to sell them on.

It's hard enough to get actual money in your hands for Bitcoin or Litecoin.

For the love of God, do any of the owners of this site watch the thread?  I still cannot create new workers.  Very lame.

They don't. There is a bbs on their site. have yo u tried it?

Wow. BBS. Now isn't that an old school term. 😄 thought that verbiage went out like 20 years ago. Probably more accurately their own forum but I jest. mhps is correct thou. They decided for better or worse to go with their own site for inquiries. Wish they didn't. Entire website as a whole sucks on mobile and doesn't load very fast.

JR

same thing. 20 years ago the best place to talk online I thought was usenet groups.

20 years ago most people used a BBS (early ISP's) to access Usenet groups and both had the ability to talk with others.

Ah... I remember those days fondly.  Using my 1200 baud modem and practically pissing my pants when I bought a 33.6k modem for $300...

Anyway to the topic at hand, I had US3 go down on me tonight for about an hour.  Didn't see any notices. Had to switch to US instead.

I have compiled the new repo for 64 bit. Meant i had to compile a 64 bit libcurl but now im getting up to 228khash/s but at the same time getting some nasty cpu usage.
This is a 2.4GHz Core2Quad overclocked to 3GHz.

228kh is amazing for a 560ti, can you share this build?

I can but, don't be surprised if it craps out on anything other than a 560ti 448.

http://www.filedropper.com/cudaminerx64

Thanks, that worked well on my GTX460.  Bumped me up to 117KH even though the "auto-config" said I should get 140KH.

Although I had issues with -i 1.  When that was enabled I would only get 50% usage on my card except during auto config.  Also to get the best speeds I had to drop -C to 0.

Yes, that is a common issue with the latest version.  Go back about 4-5 pages to read up on that issue.  I switched back to the 4/30 version.

Thanks for that hint  Smiley

@fruittool

Also thanks to you. Your miner brought me +4 KH/s. First had problems with cudart64_55.dll missing. I found it in the cuda Setup and extracted it with 7zip. Works fine now.

Same, went up to 119KH while my previous max was about 105-115KH.

Did anybody have this problem? Have had it tonight. For some reason the hashrate seemed to drop a little bit and the cudaminer freezed. It didn't react to CTRL+C this morning.

Does anybody mine with a GTX460 768mb RAM? I realy wondered how good it's performance is. Getting about 110-115KH/s after about 10 minutes of really basic performance tweaking. Since the GPU is at about 85% load on average, I think there is room for more.

Currently my card is overclocked to 830/2000 and undervolted to 962 mV. I'm using the following parameters:  -C 2 -l 28x4

Does anybody have an idea about further improving the hashing power?

Edit: further overclocking to 835/2000 got the Card to perform 3-4 KH/ better. Further undervolting to 950 mV seems to be stable.

I have a 1GB GTX460 780/1800 and I only get about 90-110KH/s (average 105).  Mine is stock speeds though.  My card gets real unstable when I OC.

Yes, i had the same issue. Make sure you set it up, get on a pool, etc. You dont have to make a bat tho if you dont know how and i prefer short cuts anyways.  You can right click, create short cut to desktop, then right click the short cut, go to properties, and on the target, just type the command like stoneyshows above.

Btw, Thanks for the wemineltc pool suggestions, its night and day difference!

Also, anyone still trying to fix that stratum failed to parse error?  Would love a fix o.O, is it not that common? I would expect it to be fairly common..

I am old school, I just find Bat files easier since they are plain text and you just cut and paste. Shortcuts can be a pain to setup with parameters.

Either way works.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: August 24, 2013, 08:30:29 PM
any qlue what this is all about Huh

What parameters are you running the program with?  It looks like your just launching it without anything.  You need to tell the program which miner pool you are using, etc...  Do you know how to create a .bat file?

You need to create a .bat file with something like this inside it and launch the .bat file instead of the .exe file.

cudaminer.exe -d 0 -i 1 -C 0 -o stratum+tcp://us3.wemineltc.com:3333 -O username:password

Solo mining? or using a proxy?
hes too stupid to use --help to get the parameters, he just starts the binary with no parameters. welcome to win Smiley

And you're too much of a jerk to help, welcome to *nix.
