1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is crazy for bitcoin on: December 12, 2017, 06:43:45 PM
I think Bitcoin can survert traditional bank because of many countries afraid about it and Probably what you say is absolutely correct now that it can be said that bitcoin has beaten the bank on many things. I have also predicted that the future of Bitcoin will grow tremendously and reach the present high value that is my predictable .
How can you say that they are afraid of it? Its true that some countries that have already banned the cryptocurrencies but that doesn't mean that they are afraid of it, its just simply that they are avoiding something that may happen if they didn't take action over it.

There are two options, its either they will ban it temporarily or they will adapt it.

I remember that on 1st January 2017 , the price of bitcoin is about $1000, but now we can see the price is already over $7000. To be honest, that is why some people said this is bubble since the unbelievable rising of bitcoin. However, let us look back upon the history, we can tell that Email subvert the postal industry, Amazon subvert the retail industry. Furthermore, Will bitcoin subvert the traditional banking?

Above is just my personal idea.If you like or not, I wish everyone here have a nice day.

Crazy right? A lot of people did not even dream of this happening let alone know about bitcoin. It really surprised a lot of us. Regrading bitcoin subverting the banking industry, I really believe not. It will be more on the banks adopting the blockchain technology. Which they already tried with Ripple.
Indeed crazy but believable. Many did not dream of this, true, but many people anticipated this through, and as crazy as it should, the anticipated prize that they've been predicting have already been surpassed. At first these assumptions that they've been making this few months are quite exaggerating but who would've thought that the actual prize right now even surpassed that of what they've predicted.

That's for sure, the retailers even the known ones will eventually adapt the blockchain technology.

Well obviously at the time OP posted it was a bad time to buy since its dumped since. I think now is good though because both btc and eth are overdue for a pump in the short term and their medium and long term prospects are also great.
well its a good timing if OP bought some while the value is falling and wait for the value rise back and make a good profits
its just a matter of timing and project like this usually have some support and pumped will happen anytime soon.
I agree with you . The right timing can provide satisfactory results. Although a coin has a very good pump, but when we make decisions in timings that are not right then the result will not satisfy.
Well, how could we know that it really is a good timing, could we now? But the only thing we could know for sure is, this the right time to sell.

I think it is not hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency. Because bitcoin is an electronic money and i know that someday it will be known and will be use by many. And bitcoin has no difference with the atm that we have today. Bitcoin is helpful and bitcoin is safe so it can be a regular money currency.

I think you haven't research enough about BTC. It has already been known world wide and it has been used by many people.

BTC has a big difference in ATMs. As you have said BTC is a cryptocurrency, and ATM is an access key to what you have saved Fiat money in you banks.
BTC has so much difference in ATM.

You see, that would be the reaction of the people who are new to Bitcoin. Since the announcement of Bitcoin and to be known by mass people in different countries they always has  something to say about it. These people didn't understand what Bitcoin has gone through just to make it here for the past few years. Creating articles like these and complaining about Bitcoin, but didn't even knew what's its true potential.

Yes, its true that it is so hard to use it right now, its still new though and has lots of possibilities and potentials. What? Do you think, if government state that, "Aliens exists, they come in peace and they are already living with us right now", the people will not panic and doubt that Aliens really come in peace?

I am only looking to put in about £200 worth into crypto at the moment as I want to learn more about it. Is this too little to buy bitcoin with? Should you only buy bitcoin if you can afford at least 1 btc?

I cannot guarantee the exact price of £200 worth into cryptocurrency but in the current values of BTC right now, that's less than 1 BTC. And no its your choice to buy whether you can or you cannot afford at least 1 BTC.
