Never used polo and at this stage probably never will. In comparison Bittrex have been far more trustworthy and open about what they are doing, polo have shot themselves in the foot with their inability to scale.
Poloniex is for me better better they have a far greater volume, and for a trader like me, this is the most important thing. They graphic is also simpler and easier to use when compared to the slow T-rex of Bittrex.

No, I do not think Bitcoin is an "instant" way to get rich. You still have to wait some time in order to see real profits.

I know this is not at all recommended to keep money in exchanges, but still I have about half a bitcoin there. I doubt it will go down, because it case it will, I can assure you that will be a disaster...

The person who can hack Bitcoin can hack the whole banking system. A 40 billion "toy" is less at risk than the big money flowing all around earth, and which is counted in thousand of billions of dollars. So do not worry about the big evil NSA ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) !

I tend to prefer trading, because that way profits are mathematically guarantied if done correctly while in investing this is most of the time just pure gamble and speculation : profits can be greatly superior, but can also be negative ! So for this I prefer trading !

Ethermine is a really weird pool, try to switch to Nanopool. This is the one I use. Moreover there you will get an estimation based on what hashrate you are sending, so this is the most precise you can get.

I just look like if it is already well established, and if so, if it drops I buy it and then sell it later when the price increased. I am not into long term for most of my holdings.

What is your present wallet ? Maybe if this is some sort of special wallet such as BreadWallet (I do not know if they support Litecoin though), they use a special private key format, not compatible with other wallets.

Because of hype my dear. Because if Ethereum switch to PoS and there is a minimum amount of ETH, I can tell that it will moon, because at the beggining, staking will be very easy and everyone will rush. You must out think if you want to succeed.
So sell it and buy after POS. Now you loose money every day. Why ? If price is low now and high after PoS, this is the inverse that you must do !

No big deal here. Everywhere they are in pre-order, on Amazon too. Price is good for me, but only if I could grab it in the same day. Waiting an indefinate amount of time would not be good for me, especially with high priced GPUs already paid...

What are your electrical rate ? Because 290 cards are very electricity-consuming, so if you live in Europe do not buy them and just take 1060s, they would cost the same, consume half of the electricity and have the same hashrate in Ethereum and will of course be better in ZCash and the likes, way better for Nvidia.

After the end of Ethereum mining, I will I think equally split my rigs between Ethereum Classic and ZCash. That is what most people will do I think
And thats the problem ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) After ETH ends, everything will end with it, there is no other altcoin that could support that much hashing power without killing profits in the process. You know, we are definitely in a golden age, because back at the beggining of the year, mining was ten times less profitable, but yet still profitable ! So I believe we will simply get back to the mean. Also, AMD cards are bad at ZCash mining, so this will be left only for Nvidia cards, which are a lot less numerous.

I always mined from Suprnova to Poloniex with Expanse, so it will probably work too with Ethereum. Worked also with ZCash and Monero for me.
But it seems that lately there is problems with ETH and ETC on Poloniex.

I disabled both because each time I wanted to update my mining software, they would delete me the executable. Plus they have no use on mining rigs, so you should disable them to save power. Even if you will probably save a few cents a year, that is still important !

The Chinese market is really taking over the world. If Alibaba does this genuinely before Amazon, then they will really change the game of online shopping
I really hope so. Amazon is killing librarians and does not even accept something as mainstream as PayPal. It is finally time for them to either adapt or die !

Wtf is going on?
panic times it looks like Man I bought near the ATH. I will lose everything by the looks of it. Worst decision of my life. Just do not sell. Until you have sold you have lost nothing yet. After PoS transition price will surely go up, so hold until that time. Ok I will hold and try not to look at the chart. I probably need a vacation right now or I might end up panic selling. The guy above you is saying Ethereum may not have the fundamentals to rise up again. That's just scary thought. Ugh I need a break! Crypto-currencies prices are rarely correlated with what is being said here, do not worry. You are wrong I think. After PoS transition you will see that price will climb much higher than where it is actually.
Why would it climb higher? Is it because there is an unlimited supply? Is it because ETH is a terrible bottleneck for all tokens? Is it because of the forthcoming sidechains on Bitcon, Litecoin or other others to do the same as tokens but a hundred times faster? Is it because you buy eth worth more than 10 million usd daily, forever Is it because you had a dream ? Is it because no high marketcap pos coin exist anymore (marketcap totally useless anyway) Because of hype my dear. Because if Ethereum switch to PoS and there is a minimum amount of ETH, I can tell that it will moon, because at the beggining, staking will be very easy and everyone will rush. You must out think if you want to succeed.

If one suddenly became rich because of market movements, he would try to make sure at least a part of it would be eternal, and not dependant of market movements.

Fucking miners. GTX cards all $500+ now
Miners are the ones who saved AMD, which came back to the became innovative againr, which made Nvidia innovate and lower its prices, so I think you can thank us.
