I miss the old days when I was lurking this forum 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I miss the idea you could hit a jackpot when you were there at a ninja launch in the first few minutes. (like doge)

I know most coins were shitcoins but there was a lot more action going on. It was the wild west digital goldrush casino and I want some of it back.

Launch more gpu coins so we can have back the golden days of 2013-2014. It was such an epic drama here.

It was nice to earn a lot of btc.

Please bring back the freakshow that btctalk was once more.

I'm bored after mining Zcash for months.

It was nice to skip a few nights per week waiting for a coin launch that was postponed a few hours and then no launch at all. It was a roller coaster of emotions those days. One day I was throwing things around my room and the other day I was very happy to earn a few 1000 Euro in a few hours. Adrenaline.

Now we have ICO coins. A lot of x11, scrypt and sha256 asic coin launches. So boring.

I can't complain about my Zcash profits so far but I would like some more action. Mining the same few coins is so passive and boring.

That would require a token of support.
Kids are not here to support a block chain.
Helping secure it does not interest them.. ROI's do.

Buying hardware is a show of support helping the system.
Why do that?

ICO it!

Hello,

I'd like to think some new users want to fast track their onboarding into crypto in whichever way is most easy for them to understand.
For some, they are going to play the lottery on the exchanges without knowing the scene.

I would also like to think as their initial irrational excitement wanes, they will continue to investigate the ecosystem underpinning their new hobby and then begin to learn how to function as a miner or node operator and continue their development.

It is probably true to say many with the independent capability of understanding where to start have already done so and many of those in the other category may need to first develop a vocabulary or be lucky enough to trust a mentor.

Making crypto great for the new blood will come with some concessions and repeat performances of the scene's greatest hits.
There will no doubt be waves of launch after launch after launch as the rest of the world starts to play ball and changes from being afraid to being greedy.

Best Regards,
-Chicago

Miners are the ones who saved AMD, which came back to the became innovative againr, which made Nvidia innovate and lower its prices, so I think you can thank us.
