Do you guys see the big drop in volumes and bid books? There is no action anywhere. everyone is waiting.
One big seller can create big domino sell-off.
What are your thoughts?
I researched yesterday that ETH/USD is closely resembling the bubble chart by Jean-Paul Rodrigue (Hofstra University) which might indicate an ETH crash is underway? http://populicapital.com/website-launch-and-ethereum-correction/If so, that could domino onto some other coins based on the Ethereum blockchain. |

i would hate to see all the suicides from the crash of eth. spare yourself and get out now.
eth is nothing but a house of cards with other houses of cards built on top of it.
in other words, eth is a scam which enables other scams. it won't end well...

I layered a well known bubble chart from Hofstra University over ETH/USD and the signs are clear that there is a huge crash underway. For those in it for the long term, you are safe. In 1-2 years time, ETH will be higher again. It is going to pass out Bitcoin in market capitalisation pretty soon also. But for now, a major correction is needed. |

Hi,
Everyday is a ICO and the collected money is raising and raising. Everyone try to jump on and sell after ICO.
After Everyico is closed,minutes after first people asking for exchanges. But why I invest in a ICO and than wanna dump 5 minutes later?
If I invest i do it longterm or not?
For me it seems to be a really really big bubble.
You are definitely correct. There is an ICO bubble, maybe specifically an ETH ICO bubble even. Some of you are saying the bubble popping will bring down other alts too and I believe this is correct too. There's already a great project doing the same thing, possibly better, on the market that I'm invested in called TokenCard. I won't go hyping it here but it's worth a look as it's seriously undervalued for what it is  |

I'd take a good look at what people are recommending the most, see what's consistently coming up in this thread, and go with that. You'll get the market sentiment right there without too much bias and dumpers. I'd include Digibyte anyways. It's at a great point to buy right now  If you can wait, ETH is going through a major correction and you'll be able to get some of it at a very good price soon! ETH is an amazing project and it's price will be multiple times higher than it is now so if you're looking to the long term, it is safe to buy ETH now. Firstly it has to be said that it is a given that Ethereum is going to have the number 1 market cap. A quick look at the market dominance chart on coinmarketcap.com indicates so and realistically, it can't not happen. Bitcoin is amazing, but Ethereum is on a whole different level. ETH is on a whole different level which explains it's astronomical returns, but enough is enough. There is a major correction coming as this is not sustainable and never has been. I layered the well known bubble chart from Jean-Paul Rodrigue of Hofstra and ETH/USD today and the signs are clear. This chart layered itself similarly during last months pump so there might be another bull run coming soon but surely it's the last one if we have not already experienced it. For the HODLers and any long-term holders, you are safe. Ethereum will have an even higher price in another year or two. There are two many speculators and people who don't really understand what they are investing in. |

Everyone is just chasing the next big hit but I don't think decentralization vs centralization is the problem because most of the projects are meant to operate independently and decentralised after their development is complete.
I think the real problem is that even the worst of projects seem to get funded and people are very creative in listing their past accomplishments, its the equivalent of padding up a CV to extreme levels.
What I predict will happen is that the good projects will find some success while the shitty ones will eventually die out either during a crash or slowly over time.
Most project are just some people trying to get a break. Some will invest in their project, because they believe in their project. Some are definitely just trying to run away with the money. Will soon find out I guess. Soon could be years from now.. Your last statement really hits the nail, most projects give timelines of over 2 years for their development so it takes a long time to really figure out if the project was just hot air or if they were really trying to develop something. Not trying to be an ETH hater but all this stuff is making sense. ETH is in a bubble, which is unfortunate, but it is. Hey! As much as I'd like to agree that this isn't much of a crash... I think it's going to crash hard maybe to $270, possibly lower. Have a look at this pal ( http://populicapital.com/website-launch-and-ethereum-correction/) . I hope I'm wrong tbh. Regardless whether it's a small correction or crash, it's going to be bigger than ever in 1-2 years time so anyone that is HODLing is definitely safe, as we all know! Thats what the haters don't understand, it has its issues and its ups and downs but its a solid coin for the long term and eventually it will overtake bitcoin. So true. Bitcoin is surely going into second place  Not saying BTC isn't great or anything but the chart at Coinmarketcap "Percentage of Total Market Capitalization (Dominance)" puts it in clear perspective. ETH is going to be number one in the next crypto bull market. |
