1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe TRON (TRX) coin reach $ 1 in 2018, why? on: December 31, 2017, 08:51:56 AM
Probably, it's a promising coin and we've seen many going from less than a cent (TRON right now is almost 4 cents) to a dollar this year. It's all gonna depend on how the crypto market grows next year.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What does the net neutrality death mean for the future of cryptocurrency? on: December 14, 2017, 11:51:34 PM
Now the USA approved the end of net neutrality, which implications can it have on cryptocurrencies?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple ( XRP ) a good way to go right now? on: December 14, 2017, 11:38:41 PM
lol hope you got some when you posted this... I sold mine on the 13th, way to early! Doubled profits, but could have tripled so far.

Same here... but we need to think that a profit is always a profit  Grin
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Do you think any other coin will take Bitcoin place someday? on: December 10, 2017, 01:40:33 AM
In my opinion, with the advent of Bitcoin, more altcoins get known too. This opens a lot of opportunities for new or already existing players to attack Bitcoin flaws (already happening) as huge fees or long transaction times.

Do you think that any of these altcoins can take Bitcoin place someday? Being the first does not necessarily means being the Top1, this happens all the time, especially in the digital industry. E.g: Naspter/Spotify, iPhone/Android, etc.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM (XEM) - NEM has the first crypto wallet in WeChat! on: December 09, 2017, 03:33:30 AM
https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2017/06/20/is-wechat-pay-taking-over-alipay/#bad8e733a0b1

WeChat has close to 1 billion monthly active users. The WeChat mobile app is one of the largest (might be the largest)  payment apps in China. And now NEM wallet will be integrated into WeChat.

That seems like pretty nice exposure for NEM... any coins getting 900 million user eyeballs? LOL. Didn't think so. You selling your NEM for $0.65 and taking profits? HODL!

This price will probably come with a dip (a normal dip, not a huge dump). I just sold 20% of my NEM (bought at $0.16), and I'm thinking about selling 50% more. Then, obviously, I would come back and buy again after the dip because I also believe in the project.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 08, 2017, 04:30:36 AM
Don't you worry thou. BTC will go down and alts will blow up. So, just hodl. It is the main skill there which everybody is talking but not everybody is doing

hahahah true! It is the main skill there which everybody is talking but not everybody is doing

I liked that!

Yes, I'm holding... but lately (maybe for seem many of these opportunities pass by the last days), I've been flirting with the temptation to change some of my altcoins when they get on ATH, for bitcoin after a drop because it would probably recover fast and the altcoin (for being even more volatile), would eventually drop too... so I could buy more coins than I had before the trade. But it's very risky and I'm a newbie, I don't think I should deal with short terms investments (at least right now). Therefore, I hold.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 08, 2017, 04:06:30 AM
I hope so. I started investing in July and as I didn't have much money, I invested a little in 5 altcoins waiting for a short time big return in one of them and ignored Bitcoin (I didn't expect to have a 7x growth so soon Shocked). And while I see bitcoin growing, I'm currently 10% under what I invested.

I am sure they will go up eventually and I will make some profit, but with this bitcoin situation, it gives us the need to be even more patient and firm with our beliefs.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin prognosticators? on: December 06, 2017, 01:13:49 AM
I'd rather feel that your own instinct may be more useful than the hand of God.
Because in the altcoin market, the interests of all people are not the same, so you earn more, naturally, he earned less. So I suggest not to completely trust the recommendation of some experts, you should have your own ability to judge.

That's for sure. You need to invest based on your beliefs, not someone`s else. Even because if you don't REALLY trust the team/technology, the stronger will be the temptation to leave in a bad moment (sell it in the bottom or leaving too fast when you could make bigger profits).

Having said that, it's also valuable to hear other opinions to form yours. That's the reason I created this topic.

What you mean is clairvoyant.

I'm asking for, as you said, someone who does good PREDICTIONS based on theory and analysis.

Buuuut, your whales statement is also true, do you know any?

Maybe even from this forum...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best altcoin prognosticators? on: December 05, 2017, 07:26:21 AM
Who do you think they are? Is there someone I should be following?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / When do we hit the floor? on: June 27, 2017, 11:23:49 AM
Hi guys,

I am a noob that has been reading a lot about altcoins lately and got very interest in investing in some of them (ANS, BURST, WAVES, XRP, BAT [fell free to give opinions on them) as it seems to be the perfect time to buy them. But for what signals should I be looking for to notice we are close to the floor?

Thanks in advance.
