1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find high APY (staking)? on: October 17, 2021, 12:44:28 PM
They are so many yield farming platforms with high APY of even over 100% most times, but the problem has always been how safe it is and the fees applied for swapping, I have come across tons of them, among all I think I can recommend pancakeswap & Ref_finance this two are good from my perspective Buh I will prefer Ref finance since it's new I can call it uniswap 2.0 as it just like uniswap Buh got very low fees which u can't even imagine, lately they did prove how trusted they could be & also very fast blockchain ($Near) which makes swapping as fast as possible, with cool farming rewards, so since u got $Near you could use it to farm on Ref & claim some cool & lucrative rewards. Well this is just my own choice and reason in which i recommend Ref_finance. You can DYOR and make your choice, remember never take any advice blindly
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really implementation and development of Web3.0 on: October 05, 2021, 02:16:35 PM

Ethereum 2.0 is a development from before, so many additions are made to improve what they don't have, but Ethereum will continue to be the monopolist around this place, while Matic is different from ethereum, although the way to use it is easier and cheaper, but Matic is not can provide fast transactions like ethereum, if you compare the two, then ethereum is still the choice for now.

While blockchain has smart contracts and technologies that enable token transfers at ERC 20 that are closely tied to this, there are both positives and negatives to the results of using anything in the crypto space, depending on how we can minimize the risk caused by anything.
No doubt ethereum will continue being the monopolist over other networks but will continue having complications which will eventually trouble users of the ETH network and this is what have really brought the rise of ETH competitors, and even the ETH 2.0 hasn't even shown any much effect, but well I think in all of the projects mentioned above Near protocol seems to be unique among all, instead of being a competitor! They more like a compliment to ETH which is they render support to the short coming of the ETH network.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: October 05, 2021, 07:13:09 AM
Obviously you made a very right choice! For a while now I have been following up this project called Near protocol to see how active and hardworking they are, I was really so amazed. So much about their ecosystem to keep up it, so many partnerships and useful updates, so I invested and my investment is doing very fine, and I would likely say they have one of the best farming rewards so far, have really benefited from most of thier DeFi projects.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptos Under 20 Cents on: September 24, 2021, 08:57:46 PM
Some of the coins you mentioned are meme coins and I don't believe in memes coins not at all, I go for coins which got utility, and which team is up and doing because the success of a project relies on the Hard work of the team and the usefulness of their project. For me I prefer investing on coins which launches on the $Near blockchain, so far so good coins like $Ref, $skyward $Oct are really doing well, they might not be popular but believe me they are low cap gems.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 19, 2021, 10:54:50 PM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!
There are many staking sites and platforms out there which gives a very high APR but the main concerned is being safe, some of this project after so many promises, there get much funds from investors staking and then rug pull. So for me I did recommend  $Near for staking, no stress you can stake in your  mobile wallet and it's 100% safe with  lucrative rewards, and also you can as well stake on sushi which just had partnership with  near and gives high rewards up to 400 % and above.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: August 19, 2021, 10:41:31 PM
Since crypto market grew big market players manipulate the whole market to take profit from weak hands. Everyone is aware of it and some are just riding with the whales. Even stock market are manipulated by rich people. They sell the news and spread FUD to manipulate the market. Even tweets by Elon is now driving the market.
There are a lot of whales surrounding the market and those that are big players that will make fud and when the market dumps, they are the ones who will take advantage first and buy those cheap coins as much as they want. They are mostly the rich people that will always wanted to control the market so they can always buy crypto coins as many as they want and continue manipulating the market.

Market manipulation isn't new to us and so investors are already used to it. If they can invest in those high potential coins like bitcoin and ethereum, market manipulation can't stop them from reaching new heights everytime these coins start to surge.
Somehow the whales controls and  manipulates the market to an extent with the help of some crypto users who don't know their stand, most of these big guys we see, holding a very big bag, will sell at a good price, create some FUD about bitcoin and the weak hands and most newbies will be very much afraid and sell at lose, prices goes down and these big guys buy back lower and makes more gains, you see the strategy, most of the FUD been spread is done on a purpose, so the wiser an investor becomes the better for him.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new blockchain that will compete with Ethereum? on: August 19, 2021, 10:24:00 PM
Due to the short comings of ETH many blockchains has been launching claiming to become ETH killer and some even claiming to replace ETH, so many blockchains with same purpose of creation no uniqueness no differences which is so bad. But well i found one outstanding blockchain called Near protocol, instead joining the list of blockchains to claim ETH killer, it rather stands as a complement to ETH, the Near Ecosystem has a project(Aurora) launched on it's blockchain which provides developers and users the experience of Ethereum on top of NEAR Protocol
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is important on: August 19, 2021, 06:31:55 PM
Yes patience is one of the key to success in the crypto space, but we most likely allow our patience turn in to greed which is very bad, imagine holding a coin and gaining so much profit even hitting the specified take profit set but the holder refuses to sell off and keep holding for more profits, will that be called patient or greed? This is where we mostly get confused, we should try to know the difference between being patient and being greedy. If your target hits sell off but if you still want to hodl for the long term then be ready not to sell when prices start falling.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana Pump on: August 19, 2021, 06:23:18 PM
I think Solana pumped due to some massive game projects that released too such as star atlas and many more. Their ecosystem is quite far from metamask extension but they are building their own system and other investors and whales are seeing how it got improved thats why they bought in. Its really amazing from a very low price now solana is kinda expensive. Only If I bought a lot during its early stage. Anyway thats my opinion and I think it could still grow more.
Use cases of a coin promotes it's price so am convinced the game project attributed to the high prices we seeing now and also it's backed by Sam who is a multimillionaire and he even made it known to the mass some time ago  that there should sell off sol and he would buy them back at a lower prices, imagine the guts. Well I love the fact that the price is pumping real good but it pains me that I got no sol left, sold so early and now I can't buy back because i don't want to FOMO in to the market or going to buy the top.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: August 18, 2021, 10:25:29 PM
I think that in the past few years or so, people have deviated from the intended use of bitcoin and what truly it stands for and why it was originally created, and i think that a large portion of the user base only view it as an investment and way to make money and to profit from, and they really don't care about the fact that it changes a lot of systems that have gotten more and more corrupt over the years, and it really gives the power back to the people, and that is the idea that people should really take in consideration when investing in bitcoin in order for it to succeed.
I can say the people who mostly sees bitcoin as just a form of investment are  the newbies, because most of them just think of coming in to the crypto space to make money, there heard bitcoin is volatile and love the fact that it's profitable without knowing there is more to Bitcoin than just investing in it, and I think with time they would get to know more importance of bitcoin and start keying in, truly bitcoin gives us so much freedom and many people are yet to know about it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency bad for the environment? on: August 18, 2021, 09:20:56 PM
there is no reason to say bitcoin is bad for the environment, only some people say bitcoin is bad for the environment, bitcoin has long been founded by satoshi nagatomo, why only now there are so many debates like that, if bitcoin really damages the environment why not prevent it in the first place..
Many people are just too ungrateful, there benefit from bitcoin and same time fight against bitcoin which  isn't supposed to be so, if bitcoin is bad for the environment then they should avoid it but no way there won't because they benefit a lot from  it. Bitcoin does more good than harm, many people are solely being liberated financially because of bitcoin so why now fighting against it, actually no point so u did say the debate shouldn't continue.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be more effective in the future on: August 18, 2021, 08:09:59 AM
The government are smart enough and also greedy at same time, they see bitcoin as a threat to their system, we have all known governments for always looking for a way to be superior Over it's citizens, bitcoin doesn't give them that chance, bitcoin gives individuals the power of getting full access, privacy and control to their asset, and the government doesn't want that to happen, they will always prefer the fiat currency they can always control and be able to monitor it's citizens assets through the help of the banks.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 07:59:13 AM
People lost money because often times when they first get in, they don't really understand the asset and are just trying to make a buck... this causes them to sell at a loss when they may have held the crypto if they really understood what they were investing in... investing in bad shitcoins is another reason, but also comes down to lack of adequate knowledge and not doing due diligence when it comes to researching and understanding these assets.
Lack of knowledge is another bad thing which can lead to great loss in crypto, most newbies who comes into crypto newly sees shitcoins with it's high pumps and there get too excited jumping in at the top and when a market correction occurs the price of the shitcoins they invested in dumps badly on them thereby causing great loss, since it's a shitcoin there is a probability of that coins rising to it's previous ath and the newbie with lack of patience sells at loss.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 18, 2021, 07:37:47 AM
I never trust this kind of events. It's obvious that it's not safe. Hackers captured even Elon Musk's Twitter account and swindled many people. Do not trust everyone! There are frauds everywhere. This is a very simple trick.
Let's all try to stay safe and be cautious, it will be so bad raising funds to invest and after buying your precious bitcoin you in turn give it to scammers for free, there shouldn't be a need of doubling bitcoin, just buy and hodl for a while surely good profit will be made, but going in search of bitcoin doubling surely will bring no good but leading to the hands of scammers, remember anything which is too good to be true is a scam.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you rather buy for the long term right now...BTC or ETH? on: August 13, 2021, 12:42:56 AM
Some people might choose ETH due to the fact that  it's very much cheaper than bitcoin and can fetch more profit than bitcoin because of it's price, but we all know bitcoin is always in the lead and determines the movement of other crypto, many people might also choose bitcoin because of risk ratio, bitcoin is less risky compared to ETH, if a crash comes in bitcoin might be affected a bit but eth would be more affected.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: August 13, 2021, 12:34:00 AM
Bitcoin has been through a lot in the past and still survived so the FUD created and spread all round the crypto market wasn't a new thing to bitcoin, it was really so bad that most people where thinking it's gonna be the end road for bitcoin or a bear circle is already taking it's place, but am really so glad seeing the fast bounce back, everything happened so suddenly, when all hope was lost, bitcoin showed us that the bullish season hasn't ended yet and am glad seeing this, once again #uponly continues.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 13, 2021, 12:26:37 AM
There are just too many reasons to why banks dislike bitcoin, firstly take not that bank is a regulated entity and won't love to work with an anonymous asset, secondly there are being fed with taught of bitcoin filled with many illicit activities like money laundering, illegal transfer of funds etc, just too many to mention but the early there get to see the importance of bitcoin the good for them, the fact here is bitcoin can be used for both good and bad, it all depends on the individual.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of control and rising: why bitcoin has Nigeria’s government in a panic on: August 13, 2021, 12:12:57 AM
The media in Nigeria in this case of bitcoin issues have been very supporting and making a positive report about bitcoin and cryptocurrency (and they should because cryptocreency doesn't have any business with individual country or persons). The media has continue to do a positive review of the situation and bitcoin. Almost all radio stations and televisions have reported about bitcoin in their daily business news, also federal government stations.

The government will eventually turnaround and come to true realization about cryptocreency because they have not succeeded to stop anything about bitcoin in Nigeria. At the highest cadre, the officials who are internet savvy are dealing with bitcoin.

Moreover, soon twitter is going to come back to operate in Nigeria and you can see that all are just threat against modern system. They can keep threatening but won't have any hold against the threat they made.. It was on the news today that twitter will soon be back in Nigeria.
The Nigerian government should have been grateful it's citizens are getting involved in crypto, from a report I saw sometime ago about Nigeria! So many students graduating yearly but yet no job for them and this makes most individuals feel going to university is worthless, since no jobs most of it's citizens get involved with bitcoin and it's activities thereby being self employed and also financially stable, this process slowly eradicates poverty but instead of the government to appreciate this they are being bitter.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: August 13, 2021, 12:03:04 AM
There are just too many reasons to why this recent rules are popping up thereby making it seem bitcoin isn't getting that anonymity it supposed to get, but the fact is nothing changed bitcoin hasn't lost it purpose, you can still send funds across country's without going to bank, and people have got to see more usefulness in bitcoin, not only just using it as means of transaction but also a good store of value and a successful form of investment.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 12, 2021, 11:20:35 PM
I think Bitcoin has safety, the highest level of security. Censorship resistant and unbreakable. Another way, bitcoin cannot be influenced by anyone, completely decentralized. All proven from history, features over time
Everything else may disappear completely one day. But bitcoin is not.

I totally agree wit h you, in the past bitcoin has proved it's system to being safe and secured, there have never been any case of hack, and also bitcoin has proven it's self to be a successful form of investment in the long run, if we look at what price has done in the long run then we can truly see it's truly as successful form of investment, and also bitcoin is the oldest among all and the mother of all crypto, so this is more reason why bitcoin got the high level of trust.
