Hello, I bought Bitcoin at a local ATM and got them sent via mail. Now I have Electrum fully set up and would like to get the bought amount of Bitcoin from this mail into my wallet. The problem is, that I am unsure how to do it . The mail contained three different data, a privatekey.txt, a adress.txt and a privatekey_multibit.key data. I know that this is now a pretty newbie-question, but I just want to avoid any difficulties: As far as I have read it, it's just done by clicking Wallet -> Private keys -> Sweep -> and then entering the private key but what do I write into the "adress" field? My "receiving adress" in Electrum or the adress that they sent me via mail? (Why did they even send me a textfile with an adress ) I don't know the specifics of this ATM, but if you have a private key in WIF format, you should just go to private keys => sweep. The paste the private key in the big form. The address should be pre-filled, and should be the next unused address from your electrum wallet Next newbie question, but what is the WIF format? I tried to google it, but didn't really understand it respectiveley I am unsure. The key has 52 digits and starts with an L, if that might help you.

Finally I can answer. I talked with the company on monday and first they said that the whole transaction looked okay in their books, but they acknowledged that they had a few issues with this certain ATM in the past. So they sent me they whole email again manually and finally I received it a few hours ago. The mail contained three different data, a privatekey.txt, a adress.txt and a privatekey_multibit.key data. I know that this is now a pretty newbie-question, but I just want to avoid any further difficulties: I have set up Electrum and would like to import the bitcoin now in my wallet. As far as I have read it, it's just done by clicking Wallet -> Private keys -> Sweep -> and then entering the private key and the adress that I received in the email in the fields. Is this correct? Thanks for the help .

The ATM offered the possibility to send it via email, I don't have a bitcoin wallet yet and wanted to install it afterwards when I get home. I definitely finished the whole process and even watched some youtube videos with the same ATM to make sure, that I made everything right. (Video related - it was the same ATM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FauhmxgCzwI)

Yes, I have already checked my mail account (including my spam folder) several times, still nothing. I am using Gmail and have also tried to send other emails to this adress. I have received all of them without a problem. Sadly, they don't have a 24/7 support hotline, but I am definitely trying to contact them tomorrow - thanks for the help. Do you know if they can see how much money I have tried to transfer? Sadly I have only made a photo of the confirmation screen.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I have the phone number of the company, but sadly there are not reachable until monday. The recipe should have been sent to the same mail, but I haven't received it neither. Luckily I have made a photo of the screen and confirmation on the ATM. Is it possible that it takes that long for an ATM to process my purchase or is there probably some kind of problem?

Hello, I am new to the whole Bitcoin-scene and bought my first Bitcoins today for 110€ at an local BATMTWO BITCOIN ATM (Picture related). Because I have no wallet on my phone, I entered my e-mail adress to receive the Bitcoins, but after 3 hours I still haven't got any notification or anything else. Is it normal that transactions on an ATM take that long? I wasn't able to find anything regarding this topic via Google. And yes, I entered the right adress and checked my spam folder. Thanks in advance for your help
